The following morning, Lanni woke up feeling warm but so hungry that her stomach was on fire. She was still in Xiehan’s arms with his hand around her chest. She gently pulled it away, only for him to reflexively hold her nipple between his thumb and forefinger and begin to rub it.

She chuckled. What kind of dream was he having? She gently pulled away from him and out of bed, kissing his cheek while leaving.

"Honey, I’m still sleepy." He mumbled a complaint, to which she smiled.

"Sleep a little longer. I’ll not wake you up." She promised, but that was not what he meant. He grabbed her and pulled her back onto the bed, hugging her so she couldn’t leave. He wanted to continue sleeping with her in his arms.

"I’m hungry." She spoke a second before her stomach growled and she was embarrassed. She had been eating so much lately, wolfing down food at random but that didn’t stop her from being hungry within a few hours after eating. She was starting to worry that her stomach wouldn’t be able to withstand it.

Xiehan was already up and sliding his slacks on before she realized it.

"Aren’t you sleepy?" She asked.

"That can wait. I need to cook for my wife and baby." He grabbed a t-shirt but remembered that she liked seeing him shirtless so he ditched it and gave her nightdress to her which she slid on and followed him.

Her eyes were full of adoration. She had meant for him to let her cook or order breakfast but that was not how he understood it. Even so, she knew better than to think he would agree to go back to sleep before feeding her.

He let her sit in the kitchen and watch as he made pancakes, tuna omelet, chicken congee and warm milk and honey.

She chose the omelet and he set it before her, nearly making her drool as she picked up her cutlery.

She tasted the milk and licked her lip. "What did I ever do to deserve you?"

He was puzzled by her sudden emotional words. "Baby, it’s just food."

She gazed up at him lovingly. It wasn’t "just food". It was the fact that he didn’t mind losing his sleep and getting into the kitchen early in the morning just so she would have something delicious to eat. Heaven knew her cooking skills were still disatorous. Knowing that her tastes for food were changing rapidly, he had even cooked several dishes so she would have a variety to choose from as well as something to snack on later.

He sat down to have his breakfast too and shortly after they were done, he scooped her in his arms.

She yelped in surprise and wrapped her arm around his neck for support. That had escalated fast.

He headed for the bedroom and pushed the door open with his foot, kicked it closed behind him and placed her in the middle of the bed, hovering over her.

"It’s your turn to feed me." He nibbled on her earlobe, sending butterflies fluttering in her stomach.

"Well, I should have known you were feeding me because there’s something in it for you, you bad wolf." She joked.

He slid his hand into her nightie and stroked the inside of her legs. "Since you know I’m a bad wolf, you shouldn’t have let down your guard. Ever heard of fattening up the prey to devour it?" He kissed her lips, morphing her answer into a moan. She slid her fingers into his hair as his hardness rubbed against her core through the fabric of their clothes. She parted her thighs farther to give him access and gasped when he ripped her panties off.

He hugged her by the waist and turned them around so she was on top of him, with her hair cascading down his chest.

He cupped her face and kissed her lips. "You are so beautiful, my love."

She hooked her fingers into the sides of his slacks and pulled them off, her insides twitching in anticipation when his manhood sprung free. He was already hard and she didn’t need to check to know how wet she was, so she straddled him and pushed him into her.

She held his shoulders, the sudden invasion of pleasure rendering her immobile for a while. He held her hair back and kissed her deeply as he moved gently.

She closed her eyes, relishing in the feeling and wishing it could go on forever. But it wasn’t long before they were on edge, coming apart one after another with her nipple in his mouth.

Coming down from his euphoria, the first thing he did was check on her boobs. "Are the girls okay?"

She scrunched up her nose. "Girls"? It took a moment for her to figure out what he meant and burst into laughter. "You don’t need to filter your words around me, you know. You’ve been inside me more times than I can count."

He ran his finger along her nipple while watching her face closely for any sign of discomfort. When he was certain that he hadn’t hurt her, he let out a breath in relief.

"I’m going back to sleep. Will you join me?"

She didn’t get to answer before her phone rang.

"Looks like you have to sleep on your own, Mr. Ji." She teased and answered the call. It turned out, the kids were reminding her of her promise to play with them today. So she let him sleep and went over to Luna’s, where the twins were already fighting over a toy.

Luna looked like she wanted to sell them off and be done with them.

"They are on their hundredth fight of the day. It’s only 10am!" Luna wanted to scream.

Lanni laughed and called Xiaomu over. "Mumu, don’t you want to play with Aunty?"

Finally noticing her presence, the twins ambled over to her and started fighting over who got to hug Lanni first. She crouched and hugged them both at the same time, successfully ending the fight.

Luna shook her head. "You should rest more today. You know tomorrow is going to be a busy day for you."

Now that Luna mentioned it, she realized just how fast time had flown. It was her wedding day in just a day!

"I can’t stay calm, okay? I just want to jump and dance around all day." She cheered.

"Then let’s jump and dance around for the rest of the day." Luna grabbed her hands and led her to an empty part of the living room to dance, where the kids soon joined them. They went shopping for Luna’s baby clothes in the afternoon and while at it, added a few more honeymoon attires to Lanni’s collection.

Needless to say, they were all flimsy pieces of fabric that would ensure Xiehan wouldn’t let her anywhere but in his bed.

"Ow!" Luna felt a movement in her stomach and placed a hand over it gently. "Someone’s excited to attend their aunt’s wedding."

Xiaomu ran over from the toys section to touch her mother’s stomach.

"Brother?"

Luna rubbed her head. "It could be a brother, or a sister."

"I want a brother." She cooed, making Linhou want to cry. Was he not enough?

Lanni laughed at his antics. "Don’t worry, Linhou. If it’s a brother, you will have someone else to play with. And if it’s a sister, Mumu will not fight with you so much anymore."

The boy didn’t understand much of what she said but the thought of having someone else to play with excited him so he jumped happily.

Luna had not wanted a gender reveal and wanted a surprise. On the other hand, Lanni knew that it wouldn’t be long before she could find out the gender of her baby. She couldn’t wait to find out.

That evening, Lanni spent the night at Li Yuming’s Villa with her mother and sister. Li Yuming couldn’t hold her tears as she hugged her.

"Look at you, all grown up." She caressed Lanni’s face, still in disbelief. It still felt like a few days ago when she had her babies, yet they were now so old and having their weddings one after another.

"Mom, please don’t cry. If you start, I will join you and then we will be a crying mess and Luna will join us too. You don’t want to make Mumu’s mother cry, do you?"

Li Yuming laughed. "I don’t." The little girl was too protective of her mother.

In an attempt to distract herself so she wouldn’t get too emotional again, she opened a drawer that Lanni hadn’t checked yet and took out the box she had snuck in and gave it to Lanni.

The latter opened it excitedly and took out an ornate pearl anklet with a heart at the side.

"My grandmother wore this on her wedding day and never took it off for the rest of her life." Li Yuming explained. "My mother wore it at her wedding at gave it to me. I’m giving it to you now."

Lanni hugged her emotionally. "Thank you."
