The Only Spatial Ability User In The Apocalypse-Chapter 64 Fire ability mutated tiger
The other two tigers immediately followed and attacked Sylas. The space barrier blocked their attacks.
Sylas stomped his feet, and earth energy immediately burst out from him. Sharp stone spikes burst out from underneath the ground.
The tigers quickly dodged the attack with their nimble and agile movements.
One stone spike grazed past one of the tiger’s skin, but it didn’t affect them.
Sylas raised his hand and sent spatial blades, forming an arc as they swept towards the tigers. When the mutated tiger with an ability sensed the danger, it immediately roared loudly, and fire burst out from its mouth, forming a firewall.
The spatial blade was immediately dissolved by the firewall.
Sylas raised his brows in surprise.
’What the hell! A firewall can block my spatial blade?’ Sylas was shocked.
The tiger roared and jumped at Sylas. At the same time, the other two tigers attacked him from both sides.
Sylas’s eyes turned cold.
Space ability surged out, and the space barrier formed, surrounding his body.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The three mutated tigers slammed into the barrier almost simultaneously.
Sylas took a few steps back from the impact. Although the space barrier blocked the attacks, he could feel the impact of the blows.
"So strong..." Sylas muttered under his breath. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
Before the tigers could make a move again, Sylas stomped on the ground.
Earth ability surged out, spreading across the ground beneath his feet.
Crack! Crack!
The ground beneath the tigers suddenly collapsed inward. The soil and rocks became loose like sand beneath their paws. The two tigers without abilities stumbled as they lost their footing.
Seizing the opportunity, Sylas flicked his wrist. Two spatial blades shot out like flashes of silver light towards the tigers.
Slash! Slash!
One blade cut cleanly across the neck of the tiger on the left. Blood sprayed as its massive head fell to the ground. The body collapsed a second later.
The other spatial blade sliced the shoulder of the tiger on the right, tearing flesh and exposing bone.
Roar!
The injured tiger roared in pain and fury, leaping backward to create distance.
But the fire-ability mutated tiger didn’t retreat.
Instead, it slammed its paws into the ground.
Boom!
A wave of heat surged outward as flames erupted around its body. The fire wrapped around its muscles, making it look imposing.
Sylas narrowed his eyes.
The tiger opened its mouth wide.
Whoosh!
A stream of fire roared and rushed toward Sylas with blazing heat.
Sylas didn’t hesitate. He raised his space barrier in front of him and poured more energy into it.
The fire slammed into the barrier with a strong force.
"Such a strong fire ability," Sylas thought grimly.
The tiger didn’t stop. It continuously spewed fire while slowly advancing, step by step, forcing Sylas backward.
Sylas suddenly waved his hand downward.
The ground beneath the tiger exploded.
Stone spikes shot upward from below, aiming straight for its abdomen.
The tiger sensed the danger and leaped back, narrowly avoiding the attack. Several spikes scraped against its flaming fur, but the fire burned away the protruding stone tips.
It lunged from the side, its claws covered in fire, aimed at Sylas’ throat.
Sylas tilted his body and raised a condensed space barrier at his side.
Clang!
The claws crashed against the barrier, sending vibrations through Sylas’s arm. He felt pain shoot up his shoulder at the same time.
Sylas gritted his teeth and endured the pain.
His space energy surged outward.
Multiple spatial blades burst forth around him, flying in erratic trajectories.
The injured tiger tried to dodge, but its movements were slower due to its wound.
Slash!
One blade pierced straight through its chest.
Slash!
Another sliced through its spine.
The tiger collapsed lifelessly to the ground.
Now, only one remained.
The fire-ability mutated tiger stared at Sylas with burning red eyes. It let out a low, rumbling growl, flames pulsing around its body.
The two locked eyes.
The tiger suddenly crouched low, then charged forward with explosive speed.
Sylas raised his barrier instinctively.
Boom!
The tiger crashed into the barrier like a runaway truck. The force sent Sylas flying backward several meters. He rolled across the ground before stabilizing himself.
Before Sylas could recover, the tiger opened its mouth again.
A compressed fireball shot toward him.
Sylas waved his hand.
A spatial blade collided with the fireball midair.
Boom!
The explosion shook the forest. Heat and shockwaves spread outward, tearing apart nearby trees.
Sylas stomped his foot on the ground.
Crack! Crack! Crack!
The earth ability surged out, and pillars of stone erupted in a wide area, trying to restrict the tiger’s movement.
The tiger leaped from pillar to pillar with terrifying agility, crushing stone under its paws as it advanced.
Sylas frowned as he noticed the tiger’s movement.
The tiger suddenly kicked off a stone pillar and launched itself into the air.
Sylas’s pupils shrank.
It twisted its body midair and breathed fire downward.
Sylas reinforced his barrier just in time.
Whoosh!
Flames engulfed the barrier entirely.
Sylas felt his energy draining at an alarming rate.
’If this continues, I’ll lose,’ Sylas thought.
Taking in a deep breath, Sylas waved his hand as space ability erupted.
He slammed both his hands together, and a compressed spatial blade formed instantly. It was far denser and sharper than before.
The tiger tried to release fire, but it was too late.
Slash!
The blade tore through the flames.
Slash!
It pierced straight through the tiger’s chest and sliced upward.
The spatial blade cut through bone, muscle, and organs without resistance.
The tiger’s roar was cut short.
Its massive body crashed heavily to the ground, flames flickering and dying out.
Sylas stood there, breathing heavily. His clothes were scorched in places, and his energy had dropped significantly.
After confirming it was dead, Sylas crouched and cut open its head.
Inside was a red-orange energy stone, larger than the one from the mutated cat. It radiated intense heat even in his hand.
"A high-level fire-ability energy stone...," Sylas murmured.
He tossed it into his space.
Instantly, Sylas felt his space tremble faintly. But he didn’t linger to observe. The fight had been too loud. Sylas quickly extracted the remaining two energy stones from the other tigers and tossed them inside his space.
He had delayed long enough.
If even more powerful mutated creatures arrived... Sylas’s expression turned serious.
"I need to catch up. Now."
