Chapter 2995 Destruction and Everything

Even as Rui's fierce gaze of determination remained fixed on the eldritch chimera, his actual mind focused on the myriad of possible futures that could unfold.

With each passing second, the number of negative possible futures began growing more numerous while the number of positive outcomes grew fewer and fewer. A strange fog seemed to cover the absolute future from his perception, preventing him from getting an absolute perception of the future that he would otherwise be able to.

With each passing second, the number of Martial Sages participating in the battle fell, leading to a negative feedback loop as the remaining Martial Sages grew even more strained and harmed due to the smaller number of defenders fighting alongside them, leading to their lasting power being drained at even greater rates.

BOOOO0000000000000MMM!!!

BOOOO000000000000OMMM!!!

BOOOOO000000000000MMM!!!

BOOOOOOOO000000000OMMM!!!

The Martial Sages of human civilization gritted their teeth as their expressions grew ashen with despair and horror.

The world shook as fewer and fewer Martial Sages remained.

Their minds and brains burned.

Their bodies roared in agony.

They felt their vision blurring.

Despite all their perseverance and willpower, their Martial Hearts flickered unsteadily, the Martial Minds grew dimmer and dimmer with each passing second, and their Martial Souls withdrew as their subconscious minds and souls grew frayed from the continuous and sustained abuse.

In comparison, the eldritch chimera, as critical a condition as it was, had only a little over half of its prime power despite its plummeting stamina. Because its true power was its nominal power and not some special state of extreme exertion beyond its limits, it was possible to maintain its combat viability despite its falling stamina.

With Martial Sages, once their Martial Hearts ran out, they were no stronger than a Martial Squire. In fact, they were arguably even weaker due to the fact that they were essentially a dead-tired, exhausted Martial Squire in that state.

Thus, the eldritch chimera gained a significant and ever-increasing advantage in the domain of firepower as the endgame of the battle had fully settled in.

Each and every one of its millions of eyes grew more focused and jubilant as the

creature eagerly watched the hundreds of Martial Sages eventually reach the absolute hard limit to their stamina, rendering them into obsolete assets.

Its gaze was triumphant and jubilant as the pressure it sustained with each passing movement decreased noticeably.

It was finally able to heal wounds for once, allowing the creature to regain a bit of its lost offensive that had been hampered by all the wounds that it had sustained in the battle against the Martial Sages. The wounds that the Devil had carved into its very body with his Singularities of Destruction grew increasingly healed as the bleeding halted.

Millions and millions of attacks roared down upon the world around them as Martial Sages of human civilization grew increasingly fewer and fewer in their numbers. Rui gritted his teeth as he unleashed the full power of the evolved Forge of Creation and the Gigabrain alike, deploying every trump card in his arsenal from the Soul Retcon, to the Primordial Core, to each and every single one of his technique systems.

And yet, for once, not even his absolute full power was enough to turn the tide of the battle. Against a creature that was one million times stronger than he was as far as raw energy went, even he had limits, as he belatedly discovered.

RUMBLE!!!!!!!!

The world shook even more violently as the eldritch chimera grew even more jubilant and triumphant in the direction of the battle, unleashing its full power more boldly and fearlessly as it fully recognized the strategic victory that it had achieved in the final and most important phase of the battle.

He had tried all forms of adaptive evolution.

He had tried it on a strategic, tactical, technical, mental, and soul level, but no amount of adaptive evolution was enough to change the simple fact of the matter that the

creature possessed Transcendent Grade firepower.

"Rgh!" he gritted his teeth as he combined Soul Retcon with the Primodial Core, gaining unfathomable mastery over it and the Gu while using the evolved Forge of Creation to merge the poison with the Helheim technique to create the most antithetical technique he had ever created in his entire life.

And yet, it was all for naught.

The sheer destruction that it unleashed upon all of them was so intense that not even the three Transcendent Candidates could protect the Martial Sages from what was to come. Alongside Rui, the Reverend of Reckoning and the Boundless Light exerted their extraordinary power to minimize the damage their side suffered as their Martial Sages

retreated. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ

Their Martial Hearts, Minds, and Souls had reached their very limits.

And yet, it was the Devil who continued forging a path forward towards victory as the singularities in the palm of his hands grew stronger and stronger as he long threw away caution to the winds, allowing the black holes in his hands grew stronger and stronger and larger and larger.

They consumed the attacks of the eldritch chimera voraciously.

They even began consuming his very own body voraciously as the very fabric of space and the very flow of time were warped beyond recognition. He had lost control of the very destruction that he himself had created, giving birth to two cosmic monsters of

unfathomable intensity.

His body grew riddled with holes as the eldritch chimera ravaged him with

unfathomable power.

His body was consumed by destruction.

His own destruction.

And the destruction there eldritch chimera unleashed upon him.

And yet, despite that, he had the audacity to smile.

Even as his entire existence and being were consumed by destruction, a profoundly wondrous sense of euphoric enlightenment filled his eyes. The more destruction

consumed him, the closer and closer he got to Destruction itself.

The more he understood it.

Even as his flesh burned.

Even as his bones broken.

Even as his very existence began being consumed by the Singularities of Destruction and

ravaged by the eldritch chimera.

Even as he was on the very brink of absolute destruction.

A single whisper escaped him.

"Everything is destruction and destruction is everything"

RUMBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heaven and earth shook.

The world shook. The very universe shook.
