Chapter 2994 Failing Stamina

RUMBLE!!!!!

The final battle between the Martial Sages of human civilization and the eldritch chimera raged on with a furious intensity as each side simply unleashed its full power with the sole intention of destroying the other.

The Martial Sages were scattered, wounded, and exhausted. Their output had plummeted from the sheer amount of energy that they had spent inflicting wounds on the eldritch chimera. The sheer damage that they had endured from a single attack of the eldritch chimera was enough to single-handedly reduce their output. frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓

The only thing that prevented the eldritch chimera from annihilating all of them was the presence of the three Transcendent candidates.

The Devil's Singularities of Destruction destroyed the attacks of the eldritch chimera, protecting the many Martial Sages of human civilization from death. The Reverend of Reckoning ravaged the creature, targeting existing wounds and greatly exacerbating them with his critical weakness targeting, able to cause an absurd amount of damage for his otherwise relatively ordinary peak Sage power. The Boundless Light had turned into a laser show, being able to unleash a tremendous amount of light to curtail the power of the eldritch chimera.

However, the largest reason for their sustenance in the battle was undoubtedly Rui.

He maintained and evolved the Helheim technique with each passing second, with the evolved Forge of Creation allowing him to pursue the absolute best iteration of the technique. With the Prophecy of the Void replacing the simulations of the CREATION System, the precision and accuracy of the results were vastly more reliable and certain. RUMBLE!!!!!!

He manipulated heaven and earth as each one of the million domains that he unleashed upon the eldritch chimera through its offense and its health visibly. The wounds that the other Martial Sages inflicted upon the creature were exacerbated and the attacks that the eldritch chimera launched upon all of them were weakened, allowing the Martial Sages to survive what would have otherwise been a death sentence.

One million Sage-level attacks, even if scattered and lacking in the efficiency of a Martial Artist, were still an absurdly intense onslaught of attacks that would eviscerate any Martial Sage, aside from perhaps Rui alone.

BOO000000000000000MMM!!!

BOOOO0000000000000MMM!!!

BOOOOOOOO00000000OMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOO00000000OMMM!!!

BOOOO0000000000000MMM!!!

Impact after impact, each attack ravaged the eldritch chimera, causing it to bleed more profusely with each passing second as its enormous mountain-like body grew increasingly battered. The eldritch chimera's body shivered with pain as the countless lifeforms and species that it had assimilated into its body had grown increasingly weaker with each passing second.

However, the same could be said for the Martial Sages.

Some of the weakest of Martial Sages were already at their limits, being entirely unable to sustain the battle for much longer.

They had begun falling already.

BOOOO000000000000OMMM!!!

BOOOOO00000000000OMMM!!!

BOOOOOOO00000000OOMMM!!!

BOOOOO000000000000MMM!!!

BOOOOOOOO00000000OMMM!!!

"Ahhhh!"

"Rgh...!"

They grimaced as their body grew checkered with wounds as the sheer power that the eldritch chimera overcame their exhausted differences. Their Realms of power flickered uncertainly as they increasingly came to the very end of their limits, reducing their combat effectiveness.

This was perhaps the only weakness that Martial Sages had relative to beasts and monsters.

Their power was more discretely limited in time, beyond which it plummeted to absurd degrees.

Everybody had been pushing their Martial Hearts, Martial Minds, and their Martial Souls to the very limit for over an hour, unleashing every ounce of power they had to destroy the eldritch chimera.

And yet, despite the creature undergoing a whole metamorphosis, it still had greater lasting power than the average Martial Sage. The eldritch chimera's one million eyes lit up as the monster clearly recognized this truth.

It just needed to outlast its opponents for long until their strength plummeted with their declining stamina. The same would be true for its own power, but because this was its innate level of power, it didn't experience the same colossal drop in power. Its output was not largely derived from things with clear and defined Realms of power.

RUMBLE!!!!!!!!

The sheer amount of power that it unleashed as it pushed itself to push them further and further past their limit shook the world violently. As the stamina of Martial Sages

began giving out, returning to essentially zero, it was able to maintain a substantial portion of power.

BOO000000000000000MMM!!!

BOOOO0000000000000MMM!!!

BOOOO0000000000000MMM!!!

BOOOOOO000000000OOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOO0000000000MMM!!!

"Arrrgh!"

"Rgh!!"

"Help!"

Countless attacks through the very fabric of heaven and earth, comprised of a variety of principles from something as basic as sound and wind, to higher principles such as light and plasma, allowing the creature to ravage the Martial Sages of human civilization. It was truly astonishing just how quickly the stamina advantage could allow the eldritch chimera to regain its control over the flow of battle as an increasing number of Martial Sages lost their ability to contribute their power.

Perhaps the only reason that they still weren't dead yet was that Rui deployed the sum totality of his power to weaken and harm the eldritch chimera as his million domains continued to drain it of its vitality.

His expression grew severe as the blood-red Suns in his eyes shined with blinding brightness even as they peered into the depths of the future with the Prophecy of the

Void.

What he saw wasn't pretty.

With each falling Martial Sage, the amount of pressure that the eldritch chimera fell by a fraction of a percentage, and each of them represented a greater probability that the eldritch chimera would win the battle.

In fact, if not for the Blood of Solaris and the blood evolution treatment that he had undergone, he too would have reached the end of the rope by then. And yet, as Martial Sages began to falter and lose their ability to continue the onslaught, the eldritch chimera grew increasingly bold, able to inflict greater and greater pressure on the

Martial Sages.

BOOOOO000000000000MMM!!!

BOO000000000000000MMM!!!

BOOOO0000000000000MMM!!!

BOOOO000000000000OMMM!!!

BOOOO000000000000OMMM!!!

With each attack, the Martial Sages grew increasingly weakened and drained. The three Transcendent candidates and Rui grew more and more strained in their ability to care for the falling number of Martial Sages who could no longer participate in the battle.
