The Martial Unity-Chapter 2778: Changing Continent
Amid their long journey to the Heaven Sect across a beasts-ridden Human Domain, more than three years had passed since the inception of the Beast Incursion. The Human Domain had been warped beyond recognition as old human establishments and empty, uninhabited lands were altered in their topography and environment.
The process of esoterification of the Human Domain, as predicted by the Ecologer in the Human Summit, had already altered much of the annexed Human Domain, turning it closer and closer to the Beast Domain.
"…Did such a forest ever exist in this place?" the Blood Goddess frowned as the three of them beheld an endless forest with exotic glowing flora. "This… this genuinely feels like the Beast Domain."
Rui’s eyes narrowed. "With the esoterification of the Human Domain, the Beast Incursion now has strategic bases where they are able to recuperate effectively in environments that they are native to. It will increase their reproduction rate and increase the pressure that humanity faces."
This was bad news for human civilization.
And yet, there wasn’t much they could do.
The esoterification process was caused due to specific bacteria and other microbe cultures that the beasts and monsters brought about with them in great numbers. When Martial Artists slayed them, their corpses would then fall to the ground and their blood would spill, and over time it would spread these bacteria and microbic cultures to Human Domain, causing them to alter the environment with specific esoteric and chemical processes that weren’t well understood.
Regardless, it altered the Human Domain, making it more like the Beast Domain and fit for esoteric flora that were also carried by beasts and monsters emerging from the Beast Domain.
"…The beast and monsters have essentially served as pollinating agents for vegetation in the Beast Domain," Rui tutted. "Their bodies contain undigested seeds of exotic flora species of the Beasts Domain, which get planted into the ground, using the corpses as a source of nutrients and growing rapidly and spreading aggressively."
The worst part was that the leaders of human civilization were hardly unaware of this phenomenon, and yet they couldn’t stop it.

They couldn’t stop beasts from entering the Human Domain, and they couldn’t stop the germination process that would inadvertently happen when they slayed each beast.
While some measures like burning and thoroughly destroying the corpses were a little helpful, they were too energy-consumptive and not worth the effort when most nations were simply gritting their teeth and holding on for dear life.
"We need to implement the Solution of Harmony as soon as possible."
The sooner that the root cause of the Beast Incursion was dealt with, the sooner all of this could be handled easier. Of course, it would take decades and centuries to undo all the damage that the Beast Incursion had done to humanity in the span of three years alone, but it was still much better than letting this continue.
"If this makes enough of a difference, then it could potentially affect the viability of the Solution of Harmony."
Masters needed to be strong enough to take over the workload of Sages in the next two years. However, if the esoterification of humanity proceeds so aggressively, then that could become extremely difficult to guarantee as the reproduction and recuperation rate of beasts and monsters would increase, allowing them to inflict greater damage upon humanity.

Rui glanced at the Blood Goddess with grave severity. "…We might not have time to waste when it comes to spreading your blood across humanity."
In the worst-case scenario, the leaders of humanity would need to seize control over the reproductive rights and aggressively control who people reproduce with to prevent inbreeding while simultaneously trying to spread her genes across human civilization.
It was an extremely ugly solution that violated what was considered fundamental rights in many nations.
But it would drastically increase humanity’s survival chances if each child was at least half as strong as the Blood Goddess’ Martial Body from the very get-go. Of course, this would slant their Martial Paths and affinities towards blood, but that was fine.
Survival was all that mattered.
MECHAs, blood-oriented evolved human beings, human civilization needed to go all-out with all its trump cards to ensure that it didn’t get overrun by the beasts and monsters of the Beast Incursion.
This put even greater urgency in Rui as he accelerated his travel, even if it strained his companions to keep up with his enhanced physicality.
"Wait…!" Amare gasped for breath as she fell to the ground. "Your stamina is broken!"
The Blood Goddess was faring better thanks to the massive energy reserves she could generate with her blood, and yet even she wiped the sweat from her forehead. "Do you… have an energy generator inside you or something?"
"Not inside me, no, but in the sky," he gazed at the Sun that rejuvenated him with each passing second as his body sucked in remarkable amounts of solar energy from across the sky. "More importantly, we have arrived."
The two women perked up at his words as he pointed to a particularly gigantic cloud high in the sky. "That is the Heaven Sect."
A perilous air loomed about as they beheld the enormous and immensely dense cloud formation that seemed to consume the entire sky. Strategically, the Heaven Sect was one of the most insulated powerhouses against the Beast Incursion.
That was one of the reasons that they were so apathetic to the Solution of Harmony. They simply didn’t feel the burning need to deal with the Beast Incursion the way that most nations did.
After all, while airborne beasts and monsters were plenty, a larger proportion of beasts and monsters were landbound, leaving them unable to reach the Heaven Sect. Thus, the Heaven Sect faced a lesser onslaught compared to the destruction of landbound nations normally did.
"Let’s go," Rui narrowed his eyes. "Time to put these bastards in their place and get them to play along with the rest of their friends and peers."
