The Hunter's Lively Wife-Chapter 2111: Daughter Takes After You
"Yunnian, you’re right. If we want the business to do well, your elder brother and sister-in-law need to put in the effort themselves. I’ll go back today and tell your sister-in-law what you said. Hopefully, they’ll listen."
After all, Mrs. Shen is their mother, and Su Muze is the first son of Mrs. Shen and Su Zhongshi. Mrs. Shen always hopes that Su Muze and his wife will have a good life.
Su Yunjin looked at Mrs. Shen without speaking. Currently, Guo Qiulan is eager for her brother to do transport business at the dock, and Mrs. Shen’s words likely won’t sway Guo Qiulan.
However, Su Yunjin didn’t stop her mother from trying to persuade them. It would be best if Guo Qiulan and her brother listen, but if not, let them be.
Mrs. Shen inquired about Little Yuanbao and Little Tiangua, "Yunnian, where are my two little grandchildren? Why haven’t I seen them?"
"They are being watched by the nanny right now! If you want to see them, I’ll take you to them now."
Su Yunjin stood up, ready to take Mrs. Shen to see the two children.
Mrs. Shen followed Su Yunjin outside and said as they walked, "It’s been a while since I last saw them. Children grow fast; I wonder if they’ve grown bigger?"
"Little Tiangua has gained weight, and Little Yuanbao is the same as before." Speaking of her son and daughter, Su Yunjin’s face naturally lit up with a smile.
The mother and daughter talked all the way to the inner courtyard. The nanny had just fed the two children. Little Tiangua ate to her heart’s content and lay lazily, chewing on her fingers, without crawling around. Usually, Little Tiangua loved crawling around on the mat and playing with the cloth tiger and little ball her mother gave her. She would throw the ball and crawl to fetch it back herself.
Little Yuanbao lay on the mat and noticed Su Yunjin as soon as she came in. His eyes shone brightly with happiness.
Mrs. Shen watched the two little grandchildren from afar and felt that they seemed bigger than the last time she saw them, especially Little Tiangua, who was fair, chubby, and adorably endearing.
After spotting his mother, Little Yuanbao started crawling toward her. Seeing this, the nanny quickly picked him up before he crawled off the mat.
Unhappy about being picked up, Little Yuanbao struggled and wriggled until Su Yunjin came over to take him from the nanny’s arms, at which point he settled down.
Holding her son, Su Yunjin noticed Mrs. Shen watching her little grandson intently.
Mrs. Shen smiled and said, "Yunnian, this child is looking more and more like your husband." Although Little Yuanbao looked like Gu Ya from birth, he now clearly resembles him even more, almost as if he were carved from the same mold as his father.
Su Yunjin, observing her son in her arms, also felt that this little guy indeed resembled his father. Pinching her son’s cheek, Su Yunjin thought Little Yuanbao was like a miniature version of his father.
Suddenly, a small warm bundle rolled to her feet, and Su Yunjin looked down to see Little Tiangua lying by her leg, looking up at her.
Mrs. Shen affectionately bent down to pick up Little Tiangua and said, "Yunnian, while Little Yuanbao resembles your husband, this little one takes after you."
Mrs. Shen joyously remarked again to Su Yunjin, "Yunnian, when you were this age, you were just as endearing as Little Tiangua, with fair skin and big, bright eyes like black grapes. You were so beautiful."
