The Greece Antagonist-Chapter 597 - 81: Open the Door, Eradicate Pornography! (4.8k)_2
Upon hearing the formal reply, Luo En’s expression eased, and he nodded slightly.
"In that case, we can have them move closer to the coast of Thessaly. As long as they guard our flank and monitor the movements of Typhon and his Demon Army, I promise they won’t be treated as cannon fodder," Luo En said.
"Alright, I will convey your request and assurance to Nereus as soon as possible. Once they are in position, they should come ashore to formally make an alliance with you," the Goddess replied.
As the first matter came to a conclusion, the Goddess’s expression grew more solemn, and she spoke in a deep voice.
"Besides the request for an alliance, they also brought news: in recent days, a large number of Sea Beasts have been madly gathering in the depths of the Sea of Chaos, constantly fighting and devouring each other. Even Poseidon’s authority is unable to fully control them!" she said.
"Is this the second matter you came for?" Luo En asked.
"Yes," the Goddess nodded, her gaze deep. "I suspect that Typhon is consolidating his forces. His Demon Army and Kronos’s Giant Spirit Clan will likely launch a total assault soon, so I came specifically to warn you to be on guard."
A shadow crossed Luo En’s face at her words.
The inevitable was finally approaching; he wondered whether the defenses of Thessaly and Athens could hold.
As he was lost in thought, a noisy clamor came from outside the tent.
Luo En followed the noise, pulling back the curtain, and looked towards the brightly lit camp.
At that moment, a series of teleportation arrays constructed from Rune Stones and Magic Arrays were buzzing into operation. Scholars from the Academy of Athens and Holy Warriors from War God Mountain were escorting a large quantity of rare materials as they rushed over.
In the camp’s square, various daggers, shields, long spears, javelins, armor, and bows and arrows, all crafted by the God of Craftsmanship Hephaestus on West West Volcano Island, had already been delivered to the scene.
Under the guidance of the second-generation Goddess of Justice, Astraea, Divine Blood Heroes and Soldiers were orderly transporting and receiving their equipment.
Every person who received Divine Armaments had a look of irrepressible joy on their faces.
On the battlefield, nothing was more reliable than these items. When faced with the perils of the enemy, besides their comrades-in-arms, their only reliance was what they wore on their bodies and held in their hands.
Even if they retired to civilian life after the war, these priceless symbols of honor could become heirlooms, preserved through generations; or by selling them, they could make a fortune.
It was known that Great Aeas, the son of Telamon, had lost his life fighting for the Divine Armor forged by Hephaestus that Achilles left behind when he died.
Although these mass-produced items weren’t as high quality as the Divine Artifact Hephaestus custom-made for Achilles, they were certainly far superior to any mundane equipment.
At the sight of several thousands of various Divine Armors present, Luo En felt surprised.
"So many weapons? Hephaestus must have gone to some trouble, right?" Luo En mused.
"It is not just him, the priests and craftsmen from the Fire God Temple have helped as well. It’s a bit hard work, but he’s happy to assist you," the Goddess replied with a light laugh, looking at Luo En with even softer eyes.
"After all, it’s thanks to you that he and Aitai got together," she added.
Aitai, belonging to the lineage of the Old Gods, the daughter of Heavenly Father Uranus, the sister of Love God Aphrodite, lived in reclusion on Sicily, holding some power over forging and flames.
After the Golden Apple incident, Luo En had advised Aphrodite to introduce the trustworthy Hephaestus to a reliable partner.
So the Love Goddess introduced her own sister Aitai to Hephaestus.
Due to their shared interests and hobbies, they quickly became a couple and had a pair of Flash Spirits named Palici on Sicily.
Hearing that Hephaestus was seemingly leading a good life, Luo En genuinely felt happy for his godson.
But immediately after, he looked at the Goddess beside him with some surprise.
Strange, how did Athena also know about his secret matchmaking?
"Haven’t you all eaten? Move it, move it!" someone shouted not far away.
"Hey, you over there, make it quick!" the voice continued.
The shouting interrupted Luo En’s thoughts.
He looked up to see a large amount of construction material being transported to the nearby camp walls that required repairs by humans and Magic Beasts alike.
In front of the operating teleportation gates, Stheno and Euryale, who had snagged the easy task, were holding black teaching whips and bossing around.
By their side, even several flower Nymphs were busy moving chairs and a small table for them, as well as serving up delicious pastries and fragrant floral dew.
It seemed more appropriate to say that the two Gorgon Demons had come for a picnic rather than to offer assistance.
But as the saying goes, pride comes before a fall. Due to the reckless instructions of the two novices, several over-burdened Magic Beasts had just climbed onto the wall needing repairs. That section, already unstable, instantly cracked and collapsed, with large pieces of rubble and metal raining down on Euryale and Stheno below.
Seeing this, Luo En instinctively activated the Goat’s Divine Speed, flashing beneath the collapsing wall and raising a protective Curse Barrier with his hands to deflect the falling debris.
After the dust settled and the turmoil subsided, he withdrew his Divine Power and turned to look at the two slackers who were still standing leisurely in their spot, asking with some irritation.
"How did you two end up here? Are you alright?" Luo En inquired.
"Hehe, is Lord Luo En showing concern for us?" one of them teased.

"You’re being so considerate of us, won’t Little Medusa be jealous?" the other jested.
