Chapter 1206: 13. Old Deng exploded Gold Coins again? (6.3k, asking for votes)_4
Suddenly, the two Divine Bulls, who had just been throwing tantrums, shivered and obediently stood still, fearing they might become a pot of beef stew.
Clearly, they possessed quite remarkable intelligence.
This scene made Luo En think of the two Divine Goats that pulled Thor’s chariot.
He couldn’t help but chuckle, saying:
"So smart, it would be a shame to just kill them for meat. Whatever challenge King Gordius left behind, why not tell us? With collective wisdom, perhaps we can solve it."
Alexander had the same thought and gladly brought Luo En and Caesar to the front of the chariot to show them the challenge.
Tied between the chariot shaft and the yoke was a complex knot made from cornel ropes.
At a glance, there was no beginning or end, like the endless Fate.
Staring too long would cause one’s mind to get lost in the complex knot, unable to extricate oneself.
Caesar, not paying attention, gradually showed a vacant look, his expression growing increasingly dazed.
"Wake up!"
Luo En clapped his hands to awaken Caesar from the trance, and reminded him,
"This condenses the life of King Gordius, and seems to have nurtured a hint of Destiny Divine Power. Being in contact with it for too long is very likely to be bewildering."
Upon hearing this, Caesar lowered his head quickly, inwardly cursing the insidiousness of the alien King.
Meanwhile, Alexander stepped forward, speaking in a low voice:
"You’re right, King Godias of Virginia also left a prophecy: Whoever can untie the knot he left will be favored by Fate, and become King of Asia."
"So, you didn’t succeed?"
"As you can see, not only me but even the warriors and strategists under my command tried, and not one person could open this strange Gordian knot."
Alexander displayed a bitter smile, feeling a bit unwilling, yet resigned.
He then turned his hopeful gaze towards this nearly omniscient and omnipotent presence:
"Master, do you have a solution?"
"I haven’t untied such a knot."
Luo En answered truthfully.
But before Alexander could show disappointment, Luo En laughed and added:
"But I know how to unlock the shackles of Fate. No matter how complex, intricate, or troublesome, there is only one answer!"

The only answer?
The condensed words poured into Alexander’s mind, transforming into a dazzling Thunderbolt, dispelling the hazy fog, allowing him to find the true solution to the challenge amidst the Chaos.
With a stroke of inspiration, he drew the sword from his waist, strode forward, and with an act of desecration against the Deities, he struck the knot fiercely with his sword, splitting it in two.
Instantly, the chariot symbolizing oppression and dominance was liberated, and he seemed to break some chains off himself.
The already deceased God Zeus’ son, the new Prince of Macedonia with no achievements, the heir of King Gordius’ prophecy...
None of these defined him or could become the shackles binding him.
He was Alexander, a warrior destined not to succumb to the past and Fate, aimed at conquering boundless territories and achieving ultimate greatness!
"Hahaha!"
With his mind suddenly clear, Alexander erupted in a burst of hearty laughter, then held up the dagger that cut the knot with both hands, respectfully presenting it to the person behind him,
"Teacher, I solved the riddle!"
"Since you solved it, this gift belongs to you."
Luo En smiled gently and pushed the dagger back into Alexander’s hands, dispelling even the last trace of doubt in his little brother.
Although Zeus was dead, he couldn’t be sure whether this cunning father had left something to revive.
Especially considering Alexander was Zeus’ last of twelve Demigod scions.
And that he previously led Macedonia to attack Thebes.
All of these made Luo En increase his suspicion of this younger brother.
Fortunately, his worries were unfounded.
Alexander cared not for his lineage as the Son of Zeus, nor did he willingly become a puppet manipulated by Fate.
He offered a rebellious blow to his old father with the sword in his hand, seizing the offering to the Deities, and further broke the shackles of Fate on him.
"Since it’s your wish, Teacher, I’ll gladly accept it."
At this moment, Alexander straightforwardly sheathed the sword, then picked up the wine jar and filled the cup again,
"I can do without the item, but won’t you drink the wine at least?"
"Alright, today I’ll drink to my heart’s content with you all!"
Luo En laughed heartily, raising his cup to drink joyously with the heroes present.
This thrilling feast continued until dusk, when it finally came to a close.
Just as Luo En was about to rise to brew some sobering flower tea for a few unfortunate souls who couldn’t hold their liquor, a cacophony of noise erupted from the street outside.
Women’s angry curses, men’s rebukes, heavy impacts, and the pained groans of the injured mingled together, creating a chaotic clamor.
Amidst it all, a severe and high-pitched female voice sounded very familiar to Luo En.
Somehow, he’d heard it somewhere before.
