The Good for Nothing Seventh Young Lady-Chapter 2680
Chapter 2680: The Fallen Young Man (1)
The tornadoes swept across, kicking up yellow sand from the ground. They were just like gigantic dragons engulfing everything, setting up an enormous wind wall between Tian Jue, Ji Ying, and the resurrection array.
When Yan Di and the rest arrived, what they immediately saw were Tian Jue and Ji Ying’s messy figures in the violent whirlwinds.
Most of the twelve devil generals had participated in the war between gods and devils in the past, and were very familiar with the skills of the Wind God. However, the Wind God had long fallen, and his soul had even been destroyed by Satan. So how come he appeared today? They couldn’t figure it out.
“So slow, so unseemly. What a pair of trash.” Yan Di narrowed his eyes and glanced coldly at Tian Jue and Ji Ying
Tian Jue and Ji Ying saw Yan Di coming and immediately withdrew from the tornadoes.
“That boy can use the skill of the Wind God.” Tian Jue had a sullen face. He never dreamed that the combination of himself and Ji Ying could be delayed till now by a mere human teenager.
Yan Di raised his brow slightly at this statement. He looked at the human teenager in the middle of the tornadoes and his eyebrows slightly creased up.
He could not tell whether the young man sitting in the midst of the whirlwinds was dead or alive. His entire body was thoroughly covered in blood and the earth beneath him had turned scarlet. His head was slightly lowered, and he remained silent. Even the arrival of their group of devil generals failed to arouse the slightest reaction from him.
“Is that boy still alive?” Yan Di asked in a prompt voice.
That amount of blood loss was so large that ordinary people would have died already who knows how many times. Even if there were something peculiar about the young man, it was impossible for him to still be alive now.
“We can’t get close. Those tornadoes are mixed with lightning, which is much more aggressive than those of the Wind God.” Ji Ying glanced at Tian Jue, who refused to open his mouth anymore from shame and resentment, and explained himself.
If the young man was already dead, the tornadoes should have disappeared long ago. But now, the aggressiveness of the tornadoes was still the same. It looked like the young man was still breathing.
“Fool, let me handle this.” Yan Di frowned slightly. The fact that two devil generals had been delayed for such a long time by a human teenager was definitely a disgrace to the Devil Race.
Ji Ying bowed his head and did not dare to refute.
“I think the boy must be dead. Looking at the pool of blood beneath him, I’m afraid the blood in his body has run dry.” Mei Ji touched her ruddy lips. It was their first time to take part in such a battle. Their cognition of human beings was different from that of the older generation. No matter how much Yan Di looked down upon human beings, in this battle, the group of the new generation of devil generals headed by Gui Jiang were completely shocked by the intrepidity of mankind.
It was simply incredible that such a young man could force Tian Jue and Ji Ying, this killing combo, to use the devil energy gourd to ask for support.
“Hei Jiao, go and have a look. If he’s still not dead, put an end to him. The rest of you, go and kill those undead trash.” Yan Di was not interested in knowing about a human being. Satan had given him the task of destroying the resurrection array. He didn’t want to do nor care about anything else.
“Yes!”
At Yan Di’s command, the twelve devil generals acted immediately.
The wind wall forged by the tornadoes was unable to stop this group of powerful devil generals. One by one, the tornadoes were torn apart by the thick devil energy and, eventually, the violent wind calmed down completely.
However, at this moment, a dragon cry astonishingly sounded, and huge flames swept across the earth.
In a flash, the twelve devil generals were forced back.
Once the flames faded, ten or so figures suddenly came out of the flames!
