Immortal in Horror Game: She is the Fortune Teller!-Chapter 364 - 358: Horror Doll House 6
Yushi awkwardly brushed his bangs: "Sorry, I dazzled you again."
He spoke with such earnestness, there was an endearing hint of innocence.
Josh waved a hand with a smile: "No worries, we’re used to it by now."
The first time she saw Yushi’s face, she was so struck that she spent the whole night in a daze.
It wasn’t until the next day when Yuze gave her a light knock on the head, creating three bumps that she finally snapped back to reality.
Yushi’s beauty indeed had an astonishing visual impact.
It’s not just the unparalleled allure of his appearance, but more importantly, his eyes, with their innate allure and ethereal beauty.
How can I describe that feeling...
It’s as if the soul was extracted from all the pure and flawless, beautiful scenery in the world and condensed onto this face, crafting a visage that would astound the creator.
Yet those eyes, staring at you so empty of desire, make three words silently emerge in your mind.
"*Kill him."
Such an extremely pure face and such extremely tempting eyes are enough to cause a police frenzy wherever they appear.
So the first thing Yuze did after Yushi joined the Mysterious Guild was make him keep his hair long enough to cover the upper half of his face.
After Josh came to her senses, she was even praised by Yuze.
Anyone else staring so closely at Yushi would’ve gone mad.
Yet she merely drooled blankly at Yushi, without taking any action.
Her self-control was astonishing.
At the time, Josh thought Yuze was being sarcastic, until much later when she truly witnessed the power of Yushi’s face, she realized Yuze was genuinely complimenting her.
Other members of the Golden Shit Stirrer had undergone special training, being tied to chairs and facing Yushi for a full month.
No phones allowed, no playing, no daydreaming, no looking away.
To the point where not only did they develop immunity, but they even began to physiologically avoid that face...
When Josh first joined the team, there was one night she went downstairs for a late-night snack and happened to encounter Yushi coming out from a bath for a snack, his bangs tied up like a sprouting onion, leaving her dumbfounded.
Later, Ma Qi dragged her together with Yushi for training. After a while, she gradually became desensitized.
But if she hadn’t seen Yushi’s face for a long time, suddenly facing it would still make her dizzy, a dormant sense of possession and wantonness deep in her heart threatening to be stirred awake.
Except for Yuze.
Yuze, like a heartless bastard, would occasionally joke around, suddenly revealing Yushi’s face for a lethal strike.
Rob whimpered, weakly collapsing into Josh’s arms: "My heart is overwhelmed."
Jiang Can also shook his head quickly.
Josh amusingly lifted the person in her arms: "Alright, let’s find those clues already."
They stifled their jokes and continued deeper.
Unable to resist, Rob interrupted: "Hey, do you think if we encounter a monster, showing Yushi’s face could buy us some escape time?"
Yushi shook his head: "No."
Jiang Can was puzzled: "Why not? Don’t you have faith in your own face?"
Yushi replied ominously: "I’ll activate my invisibility skill and let the monster deal with you."
Josh couldn’t help but laugh. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
It was indeed something he’d do.
Suddenly, she stopped laughing, and her eyes casually swept around to check behind them.
"Captain." She looked towards Yuze.
Yuze nodded slightly: "Yeah."
He’d noticed it too.
Something was quietly tailing them.
It’s more accurate to say, not someone.
But whatever it was, it didn’t seem hostile for now.
Josh laid a strand of Spider Silk to monitor behind them.
They continued moving forward.
On the other side of the corridor was a platform entirely different from the museum exhibits they’d encountered earlier.
If the previous platforms were like complete exhibits in a museum, the back of the corridor resembled more of a slaughterhouse.
Heads of dolls were neatly stacked on the platform, looking like a pig market’s slaughter table, with heads uniformly placed in one area, bodies in another, hands and feet elsewhere.
Rows upon rows of tiny hands and heads were lined up neatly. Under the dim top light, the air was thick with dust, making these dismembered body parts appear not-so-fresh, with a faint, almost nonexistent rotting smell.
But all these were merely parts of lifelike doll bodies.
Rob scratched his head in confusion: "Why are they all girl dolls? Why aren’t there any boy doll heads?"
Josh noticed this too; it was like that on the first floor, and now the second as well.
They walked through the corridor, looping back to the museum platform.
They even ran into another 20-member team, privately observing and gathering clues on the platform.
Josh and the others ignored them, continuing to meticulously scour for clues after finishing the second floor.
Underneath each doll’s platform were labels with similar information about their names and ages.
However, what puzzled Josh was that most of the ages were listed in months.
months, 48 months, 12 months, 6 months, and so on...
A six-month-old doll appeared tiny, much like a little plush doll normally displayed in a showcase, looking both cute and soft.
But their clothes and the fabric were so old it seemed like they’d been manufactured years ago and had been there for ages.
A sudden sound came from behind her.
Josh turned around cautiously, but nothing was there except the silent platforms on both sides with dolls suspended on delicate wires.
Her wary eyes scanned the dolls on the platform.
Each doll had a beam of overhead light, with slow-moving dust within the beam carrying a murky, decayed aura as if it was infused with invisible dark matter.
Josh retracted her gaze and continued ahead.
The hall brimmed with players, appearing at first glance like regular visitors entering a museum to quietly peruse the dolls on display.
But upon closer examination, the terror and tension etched on their faces were much too intense for a casual tour.
"Captain, these dolls are eerie. Do you think they’ll suddenly start moving and attack us?"
"Nonsense! Did you see the dolls move?"
"No..."
"Then shut up! Moving or not, they’re probably just here to scare us!"
A soft creaking sound suddenly echoed.
The player sprang up in fright, screaming: "Aaaah, it moved, it moved!"
Everyone became alert, looking toward the sound’s direction.
Even Josh and Yuze turned their attention there.
On the platform facing the player stood a doll with its head tilted, wearing a dust-coated, brown nurse-like cap adorned with patches, also evident on its face.
The doll tilted its head, eyes vacant, staring forward.
Under the audience’s watchful eyes, any slight movement would be impossible to escape notice.
Yet on the platform under the overhead light, apart from the dust stirred by the startled player’s leap, there was nothing else.
After a brief moment, the person holding the frightened player angrily pulled them away: "Could you stop overreacting? Scaring yourself? Did that doll even move?"
