THE GOD EATER-Chapter 163: Suicidal And Crazy.
This time, no one was willing to antagonize Greg after seeing that he was willing to kill them. So no matter how much he talked and no matter how caustic his words were, they bore with it and didn’t complain at all.
Because of this, only Greg enjoyed their journey to their posts. Everyone else was miserable and was beginning to contemplate tearing their ears out or poking holes in their eardrums.
This situation made everyone happy to see the large airship coming towards them after they got within 100 kilometers of their destination. They didn’t care if the airship was friend or foe. They were just happy for a change.
They were especially glad when the sight of the incoming airship shut Greg up. From where he was sitting, Loki could hear many people exhale with immense relief.
But Loki’s reaction was completely different from theirs. The sight of the incoming airship didn’t bring him any relief at all. It only made his heart begin to beat wildly.
While others were wondering which of their allies the airship belonged to, Loki said to himself, "Time to go."
Then he stood up, picked up his luggage, and jumped out the window.
His actions shocked everyone around them. They gasped and exclaimed in disbelief as they watched him plummet to his death.
Someone said, "Is he crazy? Why would he do something like that?"
Jane replied, laughing and saying, "I always knew that he was crazy."
She put her finger to her head and twisted it as she said, "Ever since I saw him, I knew he had some screws loose in his head. If you ask me, I think it is a good thing that he chose to kill himself now."
No one spoke up for Loki because they didn’t think that there was any reason to do something so extreme. They might have suspected the incoming airship if Greg hadn’t just said that there was no way for their enemies to threaten them in the air.
Since Greg was so confident, they didn’t think they had anything to worry about. What they were thinking about right now was which commander on their side the airship belonged to.
Only Greg sensed that something was wrong. This was because this airship wasn’t signaling to him to indicate that it was an ally vessel.
So when someone said, "I wonder which commander this airship belongs to. It looks so big and powerful."
Another person said to Greg, "Why don’t we have an airship like this?"
Greg snapped and shouted at them as he said, "Shut up."
Then he turned to everyone and said, "Shut up immediately. I don’t want to hear another word out of any of you."
The cabin was immediately plunged into silence after his outburst. Even when someone used a binocular to look at the airship and saw giants on it, they didn’t dare to speak up.
After the ship got close enough, Greg shouted at it, saying, "Who is the person with the small penis that feels the need to own an airship this big? That penis of yours must be very small if you thought it was a good idea to compensate it with 12 guns."
He didn’t wait for the other side to say or do anything before provoking them. And even though the penis of giants is as large and strong as their giant bones, his provocation still worked.
The rank 4 captain on the ship raised his voice, saying, "Fuck you, Greg. Today is the day you’ll rue your decision to ever cross me."
Then the captain pointed at the small dirigible in the distance and said, "I want him captured as soon as possible. I want him crying for his mommy come evening. Get him for me."
Instead of using his 12 cannons, the captain wanted to prove that he didn’t need the cannons, and he wanted to give Greg a fate worse than death, so the captain decided to capture the small dirigible.
This decision was a bad idea as it meant that he was losing most of the advantages of his large airship. This played right into Greg’s hands.
Greg was still reluctant to reveal his Life Ability, but he still used it because he had no other means to use right now. If his mech were present, this fight would be easier. But his mech is on the ground because he didn’t bring it along for this trip. So he could only use what he had on hand.
Fortunately, things still went well. He was able to disable the cannons and force the two sides to fight a melee.
Without Loki, the people of the Four Directions Sect felt more pressure. More of them were killed in the fight because he wasn’t there to suppress the giants.
On the plus side, the increase in the casualty forced them to help Greg kill the rank 4 giant. This was because they realized that there was no way they would be able to defeat the rank 4 giant on their own if Greg died. So even though Loki was absent, they were still able to bring down the rank 4 giant.
Fortunately, they still won the fight. Six out of the ten of them survived the fight, and they got a large airship and merit points for their effort. So the situation could be considered good for the survivors.
Unfortunately for them, Greg thought that there were still too many people who had witnessed him using his Life Ability. So he killed all of them with a single attack.
The sect fined him for the death of so many people and the cost was far more than the usual value of the people that he killed because of their identity as military personnel, but he didn’t care. This was because he could make back the money for the fine by selling their corpses and the small dirigible.
In fact, he has come out on top because of the large airship that now belongs to him and only him. So he was in a good mood as he resumed his journey to his post.
