The Female Soldier Has Been Told to Infiltrate the Imperial Magic Academy-Chapter 47
Chapter 47: After the Excitement Dies Down
When Razé woke up in the morning, she saw the goddess’s countenance in front of her eyes. Her face creased in delight. Carna was sound asleep. Her innocent look made her cuter than usual.
Maybe I can laze around a little bit more.
Until the day before yesterday, she would jump out of bed once she woke up and got ready hurriedly, then worked all day long. It was nice to have such a slow morning like today.
She closed her eyes but was unable to fall asleep again. So, she just lazed around the bed and stared blankly at the ceiling. After a while, a maid came in to wake her up. Razé gave her a light bow.
“Razé-sama. This dress is for you.”
“For me?”
“Yes. It was arranged by Claude-sama.”
“Thank you.”
The clothes that she had originally prepared for today had been stained with blood, so she was grateful for his thoughtfulness. It was very hard to get rid of beast’s blood stain on clothes.
Carna: “Hmm… Razé?”
Razé: “Good morning. Carna-sama.”
Carna: “Morning.”
Razé: “How are you feeling?”
Carna: “Good. I could sleep well because of you. Let’s work hard for the preparation today.”
Since Carna had woken up too, they got out of bed and changed their clothes. Razé felt a little complicated when she saw the cute one-piece dress prepared for her, but she couldn’t waste other people’s kindness and put in on.
She braided her bang as usual, put on light make-up and was ready to go. The maid was helping Carna getting ready. She looked excited today maybe because she was going out on a date with Ruben.
Carna: “Sorry to keep you waiting. Let’s go have breakfast.”
Razé: “Okay.”
Carna didn’t seem to be affected by the attack yesterday. A relieved smile spread over Razé’s face.

“What?! Such a thing happened last night?!” Folia exclaimed in surprise. Sleeping like a log, she didn’t even notice the commotion last night.
It was pretty noisy though…
Razé was surprised that the noise didn’t wake her up. But thinking that she had experienced the terrifying incident at the Gardersen Church, it might be better for her to know nothing.
Ruben: “Yes. The Knights are now investigating the detail, but it’s definitely a stampede. Since such a thing had happened, I think we should go back to the imperial capital today and get some rest.”
Carna: “What?!”
Carna was disappointed to hear his words because she was looking forward to go out today. Ruben was worried about Carna and her reaction surprised him.
Ruben: “… If you think it’s okay, we can proceed with the preparation. How do you feel today?”
Carna: “Good! I slept well because Razé was with me. And, because you had protected me…”
Both of them went into their own world, and the others pretended that they didn’t see or hear anything. Razé was drinking her coffee leisurely.
Folia: “Razé-chan. You slept with Carna yesterday?”
Razé: “Huh? Yes.”
Folia looked at her with rounded eyes and said, “What?! I’m jealous. Can I join you tonight?”
Razé: “If you’re okay with it…”
Folia: “Yay!”
Compared to the situation yesterday night, Razé felt Folia was too dazzling and squinted her eyes. Yesterday, when she said to Carna that she would get Folia to awaken her skill, she was being impulsive. But since she had said that, she would need to do something about it.
Purification skill. Hmm…
It was a rare skill that could only be used by a gifted healer. It was said that the skill could dispel evil elements and grant holistic favors.
Healer with purification skill had not appeared for the past hundreds of years, and the skill had been treated like a legend. But since it was a prophecy from Carna, then it must be true that Folia possessed the skill. Well, as expected from the protagonist halo.
But the problem was, a person who possessed purification skill would be protected by the country. There was no guarantee that she could continue her current lifestyle. So, Razé was unsure whether it would do good or harm to Folia. She felt the burden was too huge for her to make a decision regarding this matter.
If the situation was like the game, and Folia was deeply loved by Ruben, then I don’t even need to think about this.
Razé stiffened when she realized that her mind had strayed. She shook her head at the selfish, antagonistic, terrible thought. She then thought about how the academy had added some knights to guard the place since the intruder incident during the summer tournament. She felt it was not good for the students to be restricted too much and it was her duty to protect them in the first place. Should I talk with Lord Moldir…
Folia noticed that Razé was eating with a serious look on her face. It was very unlike her. “Is something wrong?”
Razé smiled at her and replied, “Nothing. I was just thinking about something.”
― ― ―
After the breakfast, they discussed the place and time to meet up later, and then each team went their separate way.
Razé felt it was such a pity to leave the Jade Palace after only one day, but their next accommodation was also arranged by Ruben, so it should be a luxurious place too. Folia’s team would go to the new venue straight away, while Razé and Carna’s team would go out to procure the paper and candle.
Razé: “Alright then. I’ll see you later.”
Carna: “Please be careful. You’re a girl, so make sure to ask for help from Claude or Adis-sama if you have any trouble. Got it?”
Razé was about to say, “But I’m just going out for shopping,” but decided not to. She realized that for these people, going out shopping would require guards to accompany them. It was not easy being an aristocrat.
Razé: “I know. Carna-sama, you should be careful too.”
Carna: “Okay.”
Carna and Ruben would travel by carriage. Of course, many knights would follow to guard them. They were in disguise because they were heading to town, but they couldn’t hide their dazzling aura. Razé prayed that these aristocratic children would not be targeted.
After sending them off, Razé turned to look at Claude and Adis, her teammates.
As the son of the Prime Minister, Adis should require a guard too. But considering he had been training at dungeons lately, it was exempted. As for Claude, he was an assassin. He wouldn’t need a guard.
Besides, Razé was the ace of the ace in this country. With her around, a guard would only get in her way. Of course, nobody knew about it but her.
Razé: “Let’s go. Ready?”
After confirming with Adis and Claude, Razé put each of her hand on their shoulders. A magic circle appeared underneath their feet. One moment they were inside the palace, in a blink of an eye they were surrounded by trees.
Razé: “We’re here. This is Beham.”
Claude: “… It feels surreal.”
It only took them a few seconds to teleport, so Claude was worried if they were actually at the palace backyard.
Razé: “Let’s go to Happy Leaf first. If we have extra time, let’s go take a walk around the town. We can buy some souvenir for the others.”
Adis: “Okay. It seems this place is really Beham.”
In front of them, they could see rows of white and blue buildings, and the sparkling sea. This was the town of Beham, also known as the ‘Aqua City’.
