The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard-Chapter 1490 Pill King
Chapter 1490: Chapter 1490 Pill King
Black Armor Bone Spur Python!
This Giant Python, Carson Flores had encountered before—even slain with his own hands. Its strength was comparable to that of a cultivator in the Golden Core Realm.
It was still alive, but being held by the juvenile golden bird, it was utterly incapable of resistance, as helpless as an insect caught by a bird.
The golden bird clutched the Black Armor Bone Spur Python in its beak and landed atop a nearby mountain peak. The moment it touched the ground, the python began to writhe, attempting to coil around the golden bird. But with a swift peck of its beak, the bird struck.
The python’s tough head, which could withstand a Flying Sword, was instantly penetrated, leaving a massive, gaping hole.
The snake’s body immediately went limp, resembling a boneless worm. Witnessing this scene, Carson couldn’t help but marvel at the golden bird’s astounding innate bloodline.
Back then, in order to slay a Black Armor Bone Spur Python, Carson himself had been covered in injuries, nearly destroying an entire canyon in the process. Yet for the golden bird, it was an effortless light peck.
Soon, the Black Armor Bone Spur Python became the bird’s meal. Spotting Carson standing nearby, the bird joyfully fluttered over, rubbing its head affectionately against him.
Carson reached out to stroke its head and turned to laugh, "Looks like there’s no need for much teaching, after all."
Selah Ellison Fairy chuckled lightly, "Just as the books say. You figure it out."
The two resumed their journey, with the golden bird accompanying them, keeping pace without falling behind.
A month later, they arrived at a valley nestled amidst a mountain range, enveloped by a Formation.
"This is the residence of that alchemist. His name is Theo Eaton. He’s known as the Pill King of the Skyland Continent. While he may not be the most adept in alchemy across the Thunder Immortal Realm, he certainly ranks among the very best..."
Carson curiously asked, "What’s this Pill King’s level of strength? I mean, for these alchemists, if their power isn’t enough, wouldn’t they risk being coerced into making elixirs or even captured and kept as tools?"
Selah Ellison Fairy replied, "It’s not as dramatic as you make it out to be. Alchemists nurtured by the Sect don’t face such issues—they are supported and protected by their Sect." freёwebnoѵel.com
"Loose Cultivator alchemists are relatively fewer in number. After all, it’s incredibly challenging for a Loose Cultivator to independently reach the level of a high-order alchemist. Most of those with potential are spotted early by the Sects and recruited into their ranks."
"The higher-grade the elixirs, the more a certain level of cultivation is required for alchemists to refine them. Therefore, powerful Loose Cultivator alchemists who can craft top-grade elixirs generally have formidable strength. They’re often recruited into Great Sects as Guest Elders or similar roles. Even if they remain independent, as long as they’re willing to help with alchemy, who would dare to rob them?"
"What you described does happen, but it’s relatively rare and often only under unique circumstances."
Carson nodded in understanding. "So, what’s Theo Eaton’s story, then?"
Selah Ellison Fairy responded, "He used to be a Sect disciple, but later, due to internal conflicts, he left the Sect and established this secluded Cave Mansion, living in isolation to focus on alchemy."
"Not only does he possess extraordinary alchemical talent, but his cultivation aptitude is equally impressive. He’s considered a Pill Cultivator, primarily focusing on alchemy and searching for medicinal ingredients. With elixirs, he enhances his own cultivation. I heard he reached the Golden Immortal Realm in the past, though I’m unsure about his current level. Regardless, it won’t be weak."
As they talked, the two reached the entrance of the valley.
Selah Ellison Fairy called out, "Fellow Daoist Theo, your old acquaintance Selah comes to visit!"
After a while, the Formation opened, and a middle-aged man emerged, his gaze resting on Selah Ellison Fairy with a hint of puzzlement.
"You are?"
"Selah Ellison Fairy."
Selah Ellison Fairy responded calmly, "Fellow Daoist Theo, we once crossed paths in Extinct Sea Valley..."
Theo Eaton’s eyes revealed a flash of surprise. He then glanced at Carson, smiling as he said, "It’s been a long time. What brings you to me this time?"
Selah Ellison Fairy answered straightforwardly, "To make a trade with you."
Theo Eaton asked, "What trade?"
Selah Ellison Fairy gestured towards Carson. "You teach him alchemy, holding nothing back. The payment is a copy of the Primitive Pill Scripture."
Theo Eaton’s eyes widened slightly, his gaze becoming fiery. "The Primitive Pill Scripture? You have it?"
Selah Ellison Fairy nodded. "Since I’m here to trade, I naturally have it."
Theo Eaton asked curiously, "I’ve heard of the Primitive Pill Scripture. Isn’t it something beyond the Thunder Immortal Realm?"
"Divine Brilliance Tower," Selah Ellison Fairy answered casually before tossing him a copied Jade Slip of the Primitive Pill Scripture. "See for yourself if it’s authentic."
Theo Eaton caught the Jade Slip and scanned it with his Divine Sense, a look of delight immediately appearing on his face.
"It really is the Primitive Pill Scripture. Did you take this from the Divine Brilliance Tower?"
Selah Ellison Fairy smiled faintly. "Who brought it out is unimportant. What matters is that it’s now in your hands. The question is, will you accept this trade?"
Theo Eaton’s gaze rested on Carson, scrutinizing him up and down. "Have you ever refined elixirs before?"
Carson nodded. "I’ve sporadically studied some basics during my off time from cultivation."
Theo Eaton asked, "How old are you, and what’s your level of strength?"
