The Extra's Advent: My Villainess Fiancée is a Yandere-Chapter 39: Crimson Butterflies
The vampires immediately charged toward Kira.
They wanted to kill her before she fully transformed.
One of the vampires lunged first, slashing at Kira’s face with claws that tore through the air.
The blood-eyed Kira stood like a statue.
But the moment the claws neared Kira, she tilted her head at an unnatural angle.
The attack missed.
Then, with savage speed, she bit into the vampire’s hand with her newly transformed, large, sharp teeth and ripped it apart.
Blood sprayed across the broken stone street.
The other vampires reached her a moment later.
But with a quick step, Kira vanished.
-Step -Step
Her footsteps echoed from behind them.
The vampires slowly turned around.
And saw her.
-Crunch -Munch
Under their horrified gazes, the severed hand inside Kira’s mouth began to twist and morph.
Bones cracked. Blood flowed.
The flesh condensed into a blood-bone sword in her mouth.
Dark crimson liquid slid from the corner of her lips, dripping down her chin.
In the dim light of the alley, she looked less like a girl and more like a blood demon.
A crooked smile formed on Kira’s face as she took out the newly formed weapon.
Her body swayed slightly, left and right, as if she might collapse at any moment.
"D-did she lose control?"
One of the vampires asked uncertainly.
One of them took an unconscious took a step back.
The other said nothing.
At this moment, every instinct in their bodies screamed at them to run away.
But they couldn’t.
Right now, Kira had become a wild card.
If they left her unchecked, she could easily ruin their god’s plan.
A vampire finally spoke, his voice trembling.
"Dual path... that shouldn’t be possible."
The other vampire clenched his fist, his crimson eyes filled with disbelief.
"Humans walk the elemental path. Vampires walk the bloodline path."
"No one can walk both paths... right?"
The third vampire stared at the crimson butterfly forming on Kira’s cheek.
"That mark... that’s not a normal bloodline manifestation."
His voice lowered into a whisper.
"That’s a Royal bloodline sign."
The first vampire shook his head violently.
"No... that can’t be possible."
Kira slowly raised her gaze toward them.
The movement alone made the vampires flinch involuntarily.
Then, very slowly, her tongue slid across her lips, licking away the blood that clung there.
Kira took a single step forward.
The movement was slow.
But to the vampires watching her, it felt like a blade sliding across their throats.
They all attacked simultaneously.
Three figures lunged forward at once, claws tearing through the air with murderous intent. Their movements were fast enough to blur the shadows of the alley.
But Kira did not move the way they expected.
As the claws tore toward her face, she simply shifted a step to the side, letting the attack pass barely three inches from her skin.
Another strike followed immediately, yet her body twisted just enough for it to miss again.
A third claw came from behind, but she leaned backward with unnatural flexibility, allowing the blow to cut through empty air.
Her movements were smooth and elegant.
Like a dancer gliding through a silent performance.
But the vampires felt their stomachs twist.
Something was wrong.
Their attacks became faster and more violent.
Claws sliced through the air again and again.
Yet none of them touched her.
Three inches away. No matter what they did, they couldn’t close that distance.
The vampire who had lost his arm earlier suddenly roared and unleashed his killing intent.
A suffocating pressure spread through the alley.
Kira only tilted her head slightly.
Then her lips moved.
"Kill..."
Her voice was quiet.
"Kill..."
Her body swayed slightly.
"Kill vampires."
Then she moved as her body spun.
The blood-bone sword in her hand flowed like part of a dance.
-Slash.
One vampire barely avoided having his throat opened.
-Step.
Her body glided past another strike.
-Turn.
The blade cut across the air like a crimson ribbon.
The vampire with the missing arm suddenly stepped back.
His flesh twisted, and bones snapped back into place.
Within seconds, his arm was regenerated.
But before he could attack again, something strange happened.
The blood-bone sword in Kira’s hand began to dissolve.
The blade softened, melted, and then turned into a cloud of crimson mist.
The mist twisted in the air.
Slowly, the red mist began to form shapes.
Small and delicate crimson butterflies.
Hundreds of them.
The butterflies scattered into the alley.
They fluttered between broken walls.
Across rooftops.
The vampires froze.
"What kind of ability is this...?"
One of the butterflies landed on a vampire’s hand.
His reaction was immediate as he crushed it without any hesitation.
The butterfly burst apart like fragile glass.
But then a small wound opened where the butterfly had touched.
Another wound appeared where he had crushed it.
Blood started leaking from both places.
The vampire frowned.
Then his eyes widened when he realized that his regeneration was not working.
The bleeding didn’t stop, as it only became worse as time passed.
Blood poured out of the tiny wounds as if something inside his body had burst open.
"What is happening—"
Before he could finish, his skin split. Cracks spread across his body.
Blood sprayed into the air. And his body collapsed. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
Then flesh and bones dissolved, his entire body turning into a cloud of red mist.
And from that mist, even more butterflies were born.
Thousands of them.
The other vampires stepped back in horror.
"No... no..."
They tried to avoid touching the butterflies.
But it didn’t matter. Like a tsunami, the butterflies surrounded them.
One landed on a shoulder.
Another on the neck.
Another brushed against a cheek.
Then the bleeding began.
Small wounds opened across their bodies.
Blood poured out uncontrollably.
The vampires screamed in horror.
"STOP—"
"HELP—"
"MAKE IT STOP—"
Their bodies cracked open as blood flooded the alley.
The screams became desperate.
"PLEASE—"
"STOP—"
"I DON’T WANT TO—"
The begging didn’t matter.
The butterflies engulfed them like a crimson tide.
Within seconds, their bodies collapsed.
Then they too turned into mist.
And from that mist, more and more butterflies were born.
The swarm grew larger.
Hundreds... thousands... tens of thousands.
For a brief moment, the alley looked like it was raining crimson petals.
The crimson storm circled the alley before slowly drifting toward Kira.
One by one, the butterflies landed on her.
They melted into the crimson butterfly tattoo on her cheek.
The mark glowed faintly.
Then the tattoo absorbed them all.
The alley became silent again.
Kira’s body swayed slightly.
Then the crimson-colored eyes slowly faded from her eyes.
The red hue in her hair disappeared.
Her breathing became heavy as she took several deep breaths.
Her gaze slowly cleared.
"..."
Kira looked around in confusion.
Fragments of memory flashed through her mind.
Her hand trembled slightly.
Then she felt something different.
Something inside her body had changed.
Her aura had grown stronger.
She was no longer a [Bronze 3].
She had broken through to [Silver 1].
Kira exhaled slowly.
"...I really hate this ability."
