The Extra's Advent: My Villainess Fiancée is a Yandere-Chapter 38: Dual Path?
While Cael continued to mercilessly kill the remaining vampires, the civilians rushed toward him again and again, making him increasingly irritated.
Now, the only thought in Cael’s mind was how to find the mastermind controlling these people.
Bodies of fallen vampires lay scattered across the ground, their blood slowly spreading over the cracked stone floor.
The night air carried the metallic scent of blood as the civilians kept charging forward with empty expressions.
Just then, Cael noticed a familiar pressure approaching from a distance.
It was Luke.
Cael spoke as he watched Luke move toward him, while avoiding the crowd,
"Is the matter with Kira resolved?"
Luke glanced around, calmly surveying the area. His gaze briefly stopped on the old man’s corpse, whose head had separated from the body.
For a moment, he seemed lost in thought.
Seeing Luke lost in his own world, Cael pressed again,
"Hey, I am asking something, you know."
Luke looked back at Cael and answered,
"Yes, she is indeed a vampire... but she seems to have issues with other vampires."
...
Meanwhile,
Kira charged at the disguised Lukes, her lightning infused spear slicing through the air as she attacked them.
The ground beneath her feet cracked slightly with the force of her steps.
But the vampires split apart and surrounded her from all directions.
Their movements were unnaturally fast, like shadows flickering around her.
The vampires launched their attacks.
But Kira spun her spear around her body, the lightning infused weapon formed a blue circle that blocked their advances.
Sparks occasionally flashed when claws and blood-infused strikes collided with the spear.
The vampires did not underestimate her.
After all, they knew this girl had been trained since childhood.
In terms of combat sense, her battle IQ might even rival that of the original timeline Luke.
Unlike humans, vampires rarely used weapons.
They preferred to fight using their bloodline powers.
Yes, unlike humans who used elements and special elements, vampires relied on the abilities granted by their bloodline.
The hierarchy of vampire bloodlines was divided into three grades:
Common → Noble → Royal
Well... Kira was an exception.
Even though she was a vampire, she awakened an element instead of a bloodline ability.
Or at least...
That was what the vampires believed about Kira.
Kira tightened her grip on the spear.
Lightning flickered faintly along the weapon’s shaft as she stared at the three figures wearing Luke’s face.
The vampires only smiled.
One of them said sarcastically.
"You really thought you could kill of us?"
Another one cracked his neck.
Kira didn’t answer.
Instead, lightning burst beneath her feet.
-Crack.
She shot forward.
Her spear thrust toward the nearest vampire with blinding speed.
The vampire twisted sideways.
The spear barely grazed his shoulder before he dissolved into a blur of motion.
The other two moved instantly.
Claws cut through the air toward Kira’s back.
Kira spun as her spear formed a flashing arc, and then lightning exploded outward.
-Clang.
The impact forced the vampires back a step.
But they did not look surprised.
They had already seen this fighting style before.
Kira clicked her tongue.
Three against one.
And they moved like predators that had hunted together for years.
Kira knew she couldn’t win by brute force.
Lightning surged around her feet again as she ran away.
-Crack.
Kira dashed across the alley and leapt onto a rooftop.
The vampires followed immediately. Their movements were eerily silent and fast.
Kira’s eyes scanned the surroundings.
Narrow rooftops.
Broken walls.
Clotheslines fluttering in the wind.
She suddenly dropped down into a dark alley between buildings.
The vampires landed seconds later, but Kira was nowhere to be seen.
A faint sound echoed above them as the lightning flashed.
Kira descended from the rooftop.
And her spear shot downward like a bolt of thunder.
The vampire barely raised his arm in time.
-Boom.
The force blasted him through a wooden wall.
Dust exploded into the air.
Kira didn’t stay as she dashed away once again.
Run. Hide. Strike.
That was the only way to deal with them.
Then the second vampire suddenly appeared in front of her.
It was too fast.
His claws slashed toward her throat.
Kira leaned backward just enough for the attack to miss.
At the same time, her lightning spear shot forward.
But the third vampire grabbed the spear shaft before the strike could land.
His grip was too strong for her. So, she decisively let go of her weapon.
Kira’s eyes narrowed as she kicked the ground to back off.
Then, lightning infused spear exploded as the vampire blasted back.
-Crack.
The force also pushed Kira backward several meters.
She slid across the stone street before stopping.
The vampires stepped out of the dust one by one.
They were completely unharmed.
The one she had blasted through the wall rejoined the group.
He brushed dust from his clothes.
"Very clever," he said.
"But how long can you keep up?"
Kira’s breathing had grown heavier.
These three vampires. All of them are experienced hunters.
And they weren’t even trying to kill her yet.
They were circling and testing.
It was infuriating.
Kira wiped the blood from the corner of her lip.
Her eyes remained sharp.
Their footsteps echoed across the broken street as they watched her with mocking smiles.
One of them chuckled.
"Didn’t you say you were going to kill us?"
Another vampire laughed, his crimson eyes gleaming in the darkness.
"At last, we can finally get rid of the stain on our great lineage."
"Hehe... she’s too arrogant," the third vampire sneered.
"She dared to challenge us alone."
Their laughter echoed through the empty alley. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
Then their eyes suddenly began to glow a deeper crimson.
The playful expressions disappeared.
The vampires had finally decided to end it.
After all, they still needed to stop Luke from interfering with their plans.
"Let’s kill her quickly; we still have to stop that human kid as well."
The others nodded.
Kira exhaled slowly.
She had hoped she wouldn’t have to use that ability.
She hated it.
From the bottom of her heart, she despised it.
But if she continued being stubborn...
She might actually die here today.
Kira lowered her head slightly.
Then she murmured softly,
"Just this once."
In the next instant, the vampires suddenly froze.
All three of them stopped in their tracks.
Their hearts pounded violently as their bodies instinctively tried to kneel.
Their expressions twisted with shock.
They felt it.
A suffocating pressure spreads through the air.
Bloodline suppression.
Their instincts screamed, telling them to run away.
’Impossible.’
’Only those with Royal-grade bloodlines could exert such pressure over other vampires.’
’But Kira didn’t possess a bloodline.’
’She had awakened an element instead.’
’So how?’
Under the horrified gazes of the vampires, Kira slowly raised her head.
Her blue eyes began to change.
First, the pupils.
Then the irises.
Soon, even the whites of her eyes turned into a deep crimson.
A faint red hue spread through her brown hair as if blood itself had begun to flow through it.
Then something even more terrifying appeared.
A delicate crimson butterfly tattoo slowly formed on Kira’s cheek.
The vampires took an involuntary step back.
One of them stared at her in disbelief.
His voice trembled.
"D-dual path...?"
