Chapter 1134: [End of the Dream]

Boom! Boom!

Explosions erupted as a figure crashed to the ground.

It was Franklin.

He stood up with a wide grin. "Really, this is good. Even better than I imagined."

Bending his knees, he launched himself into the air. His elemental power and dream power flared, creating strange phenomena in the sky.

Franklin continued fighting multiple enemies at once. Some of them remained asleep, writhing in pain from his dream techniques.

Bang! Bang!

Meanwhile, Isabella waited patiently in the dark.

She waited and waited until she saw an opportunity.

The moment it appeared, she seized it.

Her figure vanished as she activated several skills at once.

[Blessing of the Hunt]!

Space distorted, and she appeared in the middle of the battle.

Her sudden arrival startled the enemies. They hadn’t expected anyone to appear at that moment.

The enemy leader froze for a moment—a fatal mistake. Franklin stood in front of him, while Isabella had just appeared behind.

Isabella had deliberately released her energy to draw the enemies’ attention.

The leader cried out in pain as Franklin drove his fist deep into his stomach. At the same time, Isabella swung her dagger before hurling a bottle of potion.

It all happened in less than a second.

Franklin immediately retreated while Isabella vanished from her position once more.

Whoosh!

Ugh!

The enemy leader coughed up a mouthful of blood. A pinkish smoke spread through the air, and he waved his hand to clear it.

He turned around, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth.

"What the hell?! A spatial skill?!"

He was stunned, sensing the lingering spatial distortion. Raising his hand, he felt a sharp pain in his back—the wound left by Isabella’s dagger.

Whoosh!!

Isabella reappeared near the others. With a swift motion, she swung her daggers downward, slicing through the fabric of space in front of her.

"Argh!!"

"No!!"

Before they could react, Isabella had already taken down several of them. She was fast and fluid, eliminating her targets in the blink of an eye.

"You!!" the leader shouted, dashing toward her—but Isabella had already vanished.

She disappeared into the rift in space.

"Don’t worry about her. I’m your opponent."

A voice echoed from above.

The leader turned his head and saw dozens of razor-sharp wind blades flying toward him. He snorted and swiftly moved, narrowly dodging each one with practiced precision.

...

In the distance, Isabella reappeared and quickly concealed her presence. She quietly observed as Franklin engaged the enemies once more.

Shockwave after shockwave rippled through the air, but she remained calm, patiently waiting for another opportunity.

"It’s only a matter of time..." Isabella muttered.

She had already calculated the outcome—they were going to win this battle. She had taken out several enemies, which left the rest on high alert for sneak attacks, while Franklin continued to apply relentless pressure.

Moreover, from what she could tell, they had no experience dealing with someone like her.

"It’s time."

Isabella took another potion from her bag. Then, she slashed the space in front of her and tossed the potion into the spatial rift.

Moving through this land was easy.

Her abilities were several times more potent here than in Imperium. The fabric of space was fragile—simple to manipulate, simple to shatter.

Boom!!

The battle between Franklin and the enemy leader raged on.

"You’ve lost focus. You’re worried Isabella will strike again, aren’t you? Hahaha, I can feel it," Franklin laughed.

The leader said nothing. He continued to dodge and block Franklin’s relentless attacks. His strength and speed were still superior—but he was clearly distracted by the girl who possessed spatial abilities.

Dealing with someone who had spatial abilities was difficult.

He knew exactly what they were capable of.

That’s why he had ordered his subordinates to stay alert and keep watch on their surroundings.

Ohm!!

The leader’s eyes widened as he felt the space around him vibrate once more. He glanced upward and shouted, "Above!!"

That was another mistake.

Bang!!

He gritted his teeth as a sharp pain shot through his neck. Channeling his energy, he unleashed a surge of elemental power. With a swift motion, he grabbed the blade aimed at his head.

"Ehehe!"

Franklin chuckled darkly. With a wave of his other hand, he transformed it into a blade. In one smooth, powerful motion, he thrust it forward—empowered by a surge of energy and dream power.

At the same time, the leader launched a fierce kick.

Boom!!

An explosion erupted on impact.

Meanwhile, high in the sky—where the spatial vibrations had originated—a rift opened.

A bottle of potion emerged from the rift.

It exploded midair, scattering a thick purple smoke across a wide area.

"Blow it away!" the leader shouted.

"Don’t worry about anything else," Franklin said with a laugh.

The smoke spread quickly, and the council members began using their energy to dispel it. But this reaction was exactly what Isabella had anticipated.

She leapt out of the rift.

Swift and silent, she darted toward the nearest expert. No one noticed her presence—so by the time they realized she was there, it was already too late.

Swoosh!!

Isabella cut down another expert.

Blood splattered as she drove her dagger into the target’s neck.

"It’s over," Isabella muttered.

...

Meanwhile, the leader found himself distracted once again. He couldn’t focus, his subordinates were being eliminated one after another.

Forced to intervene, he launched an attack himself. Swinging his fist downward, the sheer force of the strike blasted away the purple smoke.

"This isn’t good. The enemy has strange abilities," the leader muttered under his breath.

But in the next moment, a surge of power erupted behind him. His eyes widened, and he spun around, reacting on instinct.

Franklin collided with the leader.

"Argh!!"

The leader coughed up a mouthful of blood as they slammed into the ground. Gritting his teeth, he grappled with Franklin.

Boom! Boom!!

"Hahahaha!!"

Franklin’s laughter echoed through the battlefield.

The leader grabbed Franklin by the neck and slammed his elbow into his face. Franklin countered with a sharp knee to the leader’s stomach.

While the leader’s injuries continued to accumulate, Franklin healed himself using his parasite.

"Let’s end this!" Franklin roared.

[Extreme Nightmare Art]!

[End of the Dream]!

Thick white smoke began to seep from Franklin’s hand. His dream power condensed into countless tiny dots—then, all at once, they exploded.

A blinding flash of light and shadow erupted, shaping into an array of spectral weapons.

The leader frowned as he looked up at the strange phenomenon. Strangely, he felt nothing at all.

"You’re in the state between dream and reality," Franklin’s voice echoed ominously.

Confusion spread across the leader’s face. He didn’t fully understand what was happening, but instinct told him he had to break free. He gritted his teeth and let his energy flare, only to suddenly feel a sharp pain surge through his body.

He coughed up a mouthful of blood.

"W-What...?!" the leader gasped, staring at the blood staining his hand. It was then he realized, he had been poisoned.

"Die!" Franklin’s voice rang out.

In the next moment, a torrent of manifested dream power surged toward him.

Whoosh!!

The leader was struck in both dream and reality. Countless spectral weapons descended from the sky, plunging deep into his body. His dream was shattered, his consciousness teetered on the edge of collapse.

Franklin stepped forward and thrust his hand outward.

Bang!!

The strange phenomenon vanished in an instant, and the world returned to normal.

Two figures stood amidst a landscape torn apart by battle.

The leader of the council group and Franklin.

The leader opened his eyes, only to cough out a torrent of blood. He looked down and saw a gaping hole in his chest.

"D-Damn... To think t-that I’d f-fall here..." he muttered weakly.

Franklin stared at him and said with a faint smirk,

"That was quite enjoyable. Too bad I had Isabella with me. Otherwise, you might’ve actually won."

The leader looked at Franklin one final time before collapsing to the ground.

He was dead.

The leader of the council group that had attacked this planet was defeated.

Franklin let out a long breath as the wounds on his body faded away. His regeneration had already kicked in.

He glanced up at the sky and muttered,

"My dream power is nearly exhausted... I need to assist Isabella and help finish off the remaining enemies."

It had been a tough battle—but the pressure Isabella exerted on the battlefield, simply by displaying her spatial abilities, was something else entirely.

With renewed determination, Franklin launched himself into the sky.

He and Isabella moved in perfect sync, swiftly eliminating the remaining members of the council. With the strongest of their enemies already defeated, nothing could stand in their way.

Resistance was futile.

Together, Franklin and Isabella brought the battle to a close in just a matter of minutes.

The planet had been successfully defended.
