Chapter 182: Demonic Dragon!

"Can he do nothing but throw meteors?!"

Coughing violently, Raga quickly poured a potion over his body, feeling the boiling liquid passing through his skin, healing him from the inside and out.

Of course, it wasn’t supposed to be boiling. That was because of the heat!

Every breath that Raga inhaled felt like his lungs were burning. He tried to filter the air, but with 3 meteors in a row, that was easier said than done.

Currently, the best he could do was give himself fresh air that was extremely overheated to the point of melting steel.

And that wasn’t even the worst. His eyes were facing a more miserable situation. The flash of the strikes almost blinded him. Everything was blurry and his tears turned into steam the moment they appeared in his eyes.

Dzzzz!

Suddenly, the earth began to vibrate under his feet.

’Shit!’

With no time to hesitate, he flew upward like a bolt of lightning, moving his dry tongue as he cast a vacuum tunnel.

BAM! 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

The ground suddenly exploded into a mist of ash and debris, as though a real volcano was about to erupt.

But what came from the ground wasn’t lava.

What Raga saw was a giant, dark tunnel that was coming close to him, filled with rows and rows of dark spikes.

’It’s a mouth!’

It was a giant mouth with rows of sharp teeth, and the jaw split in two, making room for more teeth to show up which gave the mouth a horrifying appearance along with a needle-like tongue.

As Raga was about to accelerate into the tunnel, his chant was suddenly disturbed.

Crunch!

Seizing the opportunity, the creature brutally closed its mouth, tearing off one of Raga’s lion-like feet.

The tunnel finally materialized and sucked Raga away from the beast. Once he created enough distance to be safe, he finally saw the beast’s figure clearly.

It was beyond anything that Raga had ever imagined.

A colossal monster that was a mix of a dragon and a centipede.

Its upper body resembled a dark dragon, covered in a scaled segmented exoskeleton, giving it the appearance of wearing armor.

It had a pair of horns that crowned its head under the now-giant Crown of Existence, and it had four eyes, two black and two silver, that were fixed on Raga’s figure.

Its torn dragon wings moved stiffly, as though the dragon was struggling to control them and fly.

Lastly, it had four muscular arms, each ending in five sharp claws. The upper left arm was extended upward, trying to reach for Raga, and the upper right arm was the most distinct with the centipede tattoo that covered it.

After that point, nothing else looked like a dragon.

It had glowing veins under the exoskeleton, giving a faint crimson glow that was obviously demonic energy.

But below the waist, its body changed into something far more disturbing.

Instead of legs or a tail, a long centipede body stretched behind it. Segment after segment formed a long body armored with the same scaled exoskeleton, each plate shining like black metal.

Dozens of thin, sharp legs spread from the sides, moving randomly in an uncomfortable way.

If that creature were placed on the ground, it wouldn’t walk—it would crawl!

And lastly, long spikes rose along that creature’s spine, from the head to the end of the segmented body.

It was a living nightmare, it was a Greed Demonic Dragon!

’It’s his first time transforming!’

But instead of being terrified, Raga’s experience allowed him to stay calm and catch this small detail.

All bloodlines had their own transformation. Those transformations release the full potential of the bloodline owner. The transformation was the essence of that bloodline.

All the dragons looked like humans with scales, tails, and horns. If they were that close to humans, why were they called dragons instead of dragon men and dragon women?

It was because they were capable of permanently transforming into real dragons! They just needed time to awaken their bloodlines fully.

And somehow, that boy in front of Dante had done it.

But if he wasn’t sure previously, he was now certain that Dante forced his bloodlines to awaken.

His movements showed that he struggled in this form. He wasn’t used to having four eyes, dozens of legs, four arms, wings, and a colossal body.

And that was what Raga could take advantage of!

Instantly, he rained dozens of attacks on Dante’s colossal figure, but they all aimed for the wings.

Dante, with no experience at controlling such a body, couldn’t dodge any of the attacks.

The wings were cut and burned. Dante immediately crashed onto the ground with nothing to help him fly.

Slash!

A wind slash, thinner than all the previous ones, appeared suddenly and cut Dante’s eyes.

With the runic analysis, he saw that Raga used both vacuum and wind together now.

His eyes regenerated instantly, but another attack blinded him at the same moment.

Raising his arms, he covered his face and crawled toward Raga until he was right under him.

Now, Dante only had to either bring Raga down. Otherwise, he’d fall under these attacks until his transformation ends or his demonic energy dries up.

He couldn’t let that happen.

Dante’s draconic mouth opened widely, then his jaw split into two like a centipede. The next moment, he raised his head and aimed his mouth at Raga.

Suddenly, his spine spikes and veins began glowing with crimson light, causing a sound like an engine slowly charging. He manipulated his mana and added it into his demonic energy, giving his spine spikes and veins a purple color.

But that wasn’t enough.

Suddenly, four medium-sized mana crystals were retrieved from Dante’s ring, falling directly into his mouth.

All the mana was absorbed instantly and went directly into the attack he was charging.

His open mouth began absorbing the air, sucking everything with it.

But Raga knew that its sucking target wasn’t the air, but the mana in the air.

The demonic dragon, Dante, was using the raw mana in the air!

He was preparing the dragon’s infamous attack, Dragon Breath!

And the next moment, the fifth Calamity Gem darkened.
