The Conquerors Path-Chapter 901 899-Change Is Here.
Chapter 901 899-Change Is Here.
"This will be an interesting path forward.'
I sat on the throne with a smile on my face, Lyssandra now well-dressed and looking good, seated at the bottom side of my throne like a good pet awaiting orders from its master. Her eyes held only reverence and deep satisfaction for everything that had happened so far.
A single glance from me made her body tremble, and her eyes waver. This wasn't the ruler the world praised and revered as a legend. No, this was the true self of a wild woman who had always wanted to be tamed, to be locked away and used. Quite the dark desires—desires that fester even more deeply in the heart of this little "pet" of mine. And I have every intention of letting them slowly corrupt her, one by one.
My gaze shifted away from her as I observed the underlying tension in the palace. Several more powerful and secretive dwarves moved around this grand palace, each harbouring their own desires and ambitions. My senses picked up on Valdris, who looked like she had been through a war and had finally reached some sort of decision.
The always well-prepared and decisive woman was no longer visible in her. I watched in real-time as the insecurities of the past slowly corrupted her in ways that I didn't even need to touch. Then there was my experiment—the other two dwarven women seemingly waiting to hear the story from me, perhaps even ready to reward me.
What I felt bad for were the other men in the palace. How would the king and the current crown prince fare if they ever learned the truth?
'Quite a tempting thought...'
But not one I was willing to follow up on just yet. After a moment of brooding, my gaze landed on Lyssandra, and her eyes lit up like fireworks at the fact that her master was even grazing her body with his eyes. A small smirk of arrogance formed on my face as I spoke.
"What do you plan on doing about your husband?"
I asked, to which Lyssandra replied without missing a beat.
"Do you want me to kill him?"
I scoffed at that answer. I was pretty sure that would have been the first thing to leak out of her mouth. A teasing smirk came to my face as I asked,
"You have no feelings left for him?"
Now, a disdainful look crossed Lyssandra's face as she replied in a calm tone.
"The reason I married that man in the past was because I needed his power to stabilize the country back then. And he was no man at all—he couldn't make my body truly his like you, Master~"
A very teasing remark at the end of her words as Lyssandra slowly pulled a bit of her shirt aside, showing just how hard her nipple was standing beneath those huge breasts of hers from just a single gaze I was giving her. I smiled at her response as I spoke.
"Come here."
My words were the final law. Like a dog, she crawled closer to me, and I reached out my hand to pat her silky hair. Lyssandra's body trembled as I spoke with conviction and power.
"I have some things I want you to do, and you don't have to kill your husband. You can get him out of your life in another way."
"Purr... Yes~"
Lyssandra replied as she enjoyed the small caress of her hair and face. Who would think that this was a grandmother? A woman of power respected all around? Right now, she was just enjoying what life was giving her. My gaze, containing a certain thrill, continued.
"The first thing I want you to do is simple. I want you to act like you are stealing me away from Valdris. Play the card of seduction right, as if you are taking me away from her grasp as if you are receiving more love from me."
My words carried weight, and I could feel them exciting Lyssandra in other ways. Stealing the man away from her own daughter?
Now, that would be a scene that would make her dull life even more exciting. I smiled at the rampant desires running through the heart of this very sinful woman. But my command didn't stop there.
"I want you to spend more alone time with me and the maid here, Silva. I also want some special places arranged for her."
A plan bloomed in my mind as I thought of this, and Lyssandra nodded her head in full agreement. Then, I gave her my next set of instructions.
"Also, get control of your son. Show your support for me, but don't make it excessive. Make it something acceptable, as if you are won over by a special feeling for me. Make it so you have no issues with me taking Nathalia as my wife."
Lyssandra cooed softly as I rubbed her ears, but her mind fully accepted my commands. Seeing her growing more sensitive, I pulled my hand away from her and looked down at her with a certain sparkling gaze as I spoke.
"Do a good job, and I shall reward you even better."
Lyssandra's eyes lit up at those words as I stood up from the throne. I had already spent more than enough time in this place—any more, and it would only grow more suspicious moving forward.
As I stepped away, I looked down at Lyssandra, seated on the ground, gazing up at me like a lost puppy. Without unnecessary words, I turned and opened the door.
Standing outside was the very maid who had led me to this place. Her face was definitely filled with curiosity about what had been discussed inside the room for such a long time. A smirk formed on my face—one of awe and surprise—as I spoke.
"She is more remarkable than I thought."
My words made the woman smirk a bit, just as a command came from within the throne room.
"Take him back to his room."
With a respectful nod, the woman gestured for me to follow her. I began walking behind her as she led me toward the same transfer room we had used before. The servants moved about as before—most of them being female dwarves of considerable power. As we walked, I chimed into the maid's ear.
"Very curious about what I spoke about for so long with the Queen Mother?"
My words made her pause for a moment before she resumed her march, replying,
"It's not my place to interfere in my master's words,"
I smirked at her response and playfully added,
"The Queen Mother was actually demonstrating some things to me. She showed me in rather cryptic ways how certain tight caves can affect certain... experiences."
"Caves?"
The maid asked back, clearly confused about the whole thing. I smiled at that innocent question and nodded with a thoughtful look.
"Indeed, caves. The demonstration was all very cryptic, but I seemed to understand that she wanted to teach me something. It was very fun—the Queen Mother opened my mind to many new things, such as how an aged cave can still be very tight even after a long time~"
My words hinted at something much darker, but the poor maid wouldn't be able to make the connection no matter how hard she tried. The two of us passed through the transfer room, soon reaching the door to my quarters.
There, I found Silva standing in an orderly manner. Her gaze held a certain spark to it—something different from before—as she looked at me.
"The Queen wishes to see you again."
She spoke, to which I turned to the maid and said,

"Thank you for your guidance. Please give my regards to the Queen Mother—I had fun."
The maid, though confused, nodded her head and went on her way. Now, it was just the two of us—me and Silva.
I looked at the maid. She clearly had many questions in her mind, and I taunted her with a smirk.
"The Queen must have a lot of questions..."
Silva replied without hesitation.
"She does."
I grinned wider.
"Then that means you have a lot of questions too, right?"
Silva's eyes shook for a moment before she regained her composure and replied.
"That's true as well."
My smirk widened at those words as I replied.
"Then lead the way—there's a lot to talk about."
Silva's gaze took on a more powerful hue as she led the way once more to the queen's office. The two of us soon arrived, and I stepped into the familiar room—yet this time, the atmosphere was different. I could feel the need and excitement in Eleanara's eyes; she craved answers and wouldn't let me leave without them.
The door closed behind me as I took a seat opposite her. Our gazes clashed, the air between us twisting with unspoken tension, a certain spark lighting here and there as the atmosphere twisted and turned.
