When everyone left, and the only one left in the living room was the couple, a secret smile touched Tanaga’s lips. Then, at once, he suddenly picked up his wife, who was surprised at what he had done.

"Tan !!!" Ashley exclaimed, quickly wrapping both her hands around her husband’s neck so that she wouldn’t fall from his arms.

Onboard a plane on the way to Las Vegas, Nevada, were Lea and Ann, who were to spend Christmas day with Lea’s family. Ever since Ann’s grandmother passed away, leaving her orphaned, she had been treating Lea’s family as her own.

"Lea, were you able to contact Mrs. Jones to apologize? Unfortunately, I forgot that we had promised your parents that we would spend Christmas with them. Sigh!" Ann’s eyes were closed, trying to get a little shut-eye.

"Oh my! I bought it. I was so excited when you told me that we would be going to Vegas instead of Houston. I will give her a call as soon as we land, alright? Now, try and get a shut-eye; you look worn-out." Lea closed the window shade and covered her friend/talent before she also leaned back and tried to get some rest...

As soon as the plane landed and they were allowed to use electronic gadgets, Lea called Ashley to inform them of the situation.

Ashley was in the children’s room playing with her sons when she received the call from Lea.

"I’m sorry, Mrs. Jones, Ann had forgotten that we booked the flight already and we couldn’t cancel it at the last minute. I hope you understand, and she really wanted to be there and spend time with her grandson. " Explained Lea apologetically.

Ashley was waving her hands in the air as she answered. "No, no-no! It’s fine. We understand how important it is to spend time with family. But, to be honest, I have a houseful right now too. My brothers from the Philippines all came and surprised us too. Hahaha!"

Hearing Ashley’s reply, Lea let out a sigh of relief. She knew that Ashley wouldn’t mind. But, to make sure, she had to make the call and let her know to ease Ann’s mind.

"Alright then, I will let Ann know." Just as she was about to bid Ashley goodbye, Ann woke up and heard her last comment. Still yawning and half awake, half asleep...

"Is that sister Ashley? Let me speak with her." Ann quickly interjected while her hands were ready to accept the phone.

Lea hands over the phone and starts preparing their hand-carry luggage.

"Hi, sister Ashley! Merry Christmas! I’m sorry about not being able to make it. I was so looking forward to giving my new godson a fat kiss." She playfully said while trying to fix herself as they are preparing to descend from the airplane.

"It’s fine, I understand. Family always comes first. I would have done the same thing. Enjoy and come visit us anytime." Ashley assured her that it was fine and there were still other times. Then, suddenly, she got an idea...

"Ann, how long are you guys going to be there in Las Vegas?" She asked excitedly as she gazed at her husband. Her eyes shone brightly with her idea.

"Hmmm, the minimum will be here until New Year’s, and if I don’t have any other work, then I will stay for a little while and take a break. I’m on school break, too, and classes won’t start until the end of January. What’s up?" she asked curiously. Why would Ashley ask?

"Nothing, I just have an idea. All right, I will chat later once I speak with my family. Take care, and Merry Christmas to you too and your family." She then quickly hung up the call to talk to her husband about her idea. But, instead, she found him frowning and shaking his head-she got worried.

Meanwhile, CEO Jeff Go had decided to stay for another day in Houston after finding out that his wife ’Ann’ would be flying to visit a friend in Houston. But, of course, he has no idea that Ann would visit a friend other than Jones’s family. But first, he needs to contact his grandfather to inform him that he will not be coming home as expected.

Jeff looked for his cellphone and found it on top of the nightstand where he had left it the night before. He picked it up and was about to call his grandfather when he saw his cell phone lit up and began buzzing. When he checked who the caller was, his brows knitted. It was old Ron, his grandfather’s assistant.

"Who do I owe the pleasure of receiving a call from you?" He barked at the person on the other line, trying to scare him off, which didn’t work. Old Ron helped his grandfather raise him. Therefore he knows how he is.

"Young Master, I’m sorry to interrupt your business trip, but you need to come back, or you may never see your grandfather alive." Old Ron said in a raspy voice. Sadness could be heard from the way he speaks.

"What?! What happened to grandpa? I’ll be leaving right now and should be there within 24 hrs. Keep me updated and Uncle Ron, please... take care of the old man for me." He then quickly hung up and called for Ronald to make preparations.

An hour later...

"I’m sorry, my friend, I have an emergency and need to return home. Give my regards to your family, and will do these another time." Jeff contacted Tanaga as soon as he was on board his private plane.

He couldn’t think straight and didn’t get the chance to call him on the way to the airport. However, once they were on board the private plane, he felt calm and remembered to call his best friend to excuse himself.

"It’s fine, man. Don’t worry. It’s no big deal. There are plenty of chances. So take care and don’t worry about Chairman Go; he will be full through these alright. Have a safe trip." Tanaga then hung up. He was still shaking his head, and a frown was plastered on his face when Ashley found him.

"Sweetheart... what’s wrong? Are you alright?" Said Ashley as she sat down next to him, full of concern.

Tanaga shakes his head and looks at his wife adoringly. "I’m fine, sweetie; it was Jeff. I just spoke with him. But, unfortunately, he’s needed back home, so he wouldn’t be able to come over."

"Ahh!" She said while her head was bobbing up and down.

Ashley informed Tanaga of her conversation with Ann and excitedly told him her plan. Tanaga loved the idea, and they agreed to do just that.

When everyone came home, Ashley happily informed her family what they planned to do, and once they heard her idea, they all jumped and began preparations.

After lunch, everyone hurried up, packed their belongings, and boarded the TGH private plane on the way to Las Vegas...

TGH’s private plane was at full capacity when it landed at McCarran International Airport four hours later.

Everyone was having fun the whole way that they didn’t realize that they arrived already until the Captain announced to buckle their seatbelt. A couple of minutes later, they landed, and everyone excitedly began preparation to embark.

Jessie helped Fely unhook her seat belt. "Let me do that for you, " after unhooking his own.

Ashley’s older brothers, seated at the back, all got up one by one and began gathering their belongings. Excitement was visible on their handsome faces.

"Gosh, I’m so excited! I can’t believe that we will be spending our New Year here in Las Vegas." Arnel exclaims loud enough for everyone to hear.

Arnold hangs his arms on Arnel’s shoulder and whispers.

"I heard there’s a place here where you could see girls naked, and it’s legal. We need to check it out." He said it followed by a wink. freewebnσvel.cѳm

"Shhh!" Replied Arnel while his fingers were on his lips. "You better not let mom and dad hear you; we’re dead if they learned that you want to go to such a place." He then pointed his finger at Arnold as a warning.

Tanaga and Ashley were already standing by the door and ready to embark on the tarmac. They were followed by Inday and Juanita, who were carrying each of the twins.

Soon with Ashley and Tanaga leading them, one by one, they all descended to the tarmac.

There were a couple of limousines waiting for them to take them to the resort where they would be staying for the duration of their stay.

They spent a whole week in Las Vegas watching shows, gambling, and attending parties. Ann and Lea joined them for fun the whole time. After the New Year’s celebration, the duo bid the Joneses and Gusman goodbye and promised to keep in touch.

The holiday was over, and it was now time for Tanaga to start the treatments he needed to return to the kingdom of Stonasia. They decided to take the twins and their governess with them: Inday, Juanita, and Tiny were accompanying the Jones’s.

Arman, Arthur, and Ariel all went back to their jobs. Arnold and Arnel also started internships and moved out of the house to live closer to their jobs.

Grandmother Hanada and Harumi went back to Japan with Tanaka, while Jessie and Fely went on a month-long cruise to Europe, courtesy of Tanaga and Ashley.

A year later...

Ashley stood in front of the grand full-length mirror, taking in her reflection. Sato bustled around her, meticulously checking every detail to ensure that everything was in perfect order.

Sato’s eyes widened in disbelief as he gazed upon his creation. "Ohhh my God!!! You’re so beautiful, my lady!" he exclaimed in excitement, unable to contain his overwhelming sense of joy.

The sheer perfection of his creation had left him unable to contain his emotions, and he couldn’t help but let out a scream of excitement.

The wedding gown he carefully crafted for Ashley was absolutely breathtaking.

It was hard to believe that the stunning woman wearing this exquisite creation had just given birth to a beautiful little girl three months earlier.

She exuded an aura of grace and beauty, resembling a goddess on her special day.

As Ashley stood in front of the full-length mirror, her lips curved into a slight smile as she observed the pride shining in her friend Sato’s eyes.

She couldn’t help but feel disbelief as she gazed at the reflection before her, realizing that the woman staring back was indeed herself.

Time seemed to slip through our fingers like sand in an hourglass. In just a few minutes, the moment we’ve been waiting for will arrive.
