THE AWAKENING: BIO-GENETICS-Chapter 116: Attack On Kaiju’s [4]

MISSION STATICS: Securing a base in Fukuoka

This mission consists of Four Teams; The Supply Team, The Medical Team, The Gadgets Team, and The Field Team.

The Supply Team: In charge of Supplies

The Medical Team: Closely working under Dr. Touka and Dr. Hachiro for assistance

The Gadgets team: Closely working under Engr. Kazuya for assistance

The Field Team: In charge of battle formation, led by Commander Shino

These Four Teams are what make their strong formation and the Field team plays a big role in securing this formation.

"INCOMING!" He shouts as instantly Kaijus claws out from the particular area they once burst out from, clustering in numbers, and raging impatiently towards them like a plague of monstrous wind, with their speed and force. Their paws slammed the ground hard making it vibrate as they came for the attack.

Sakura screamed as her butt landed on the ground, the others ran past her back to their Hellhound, but she was immobile on the ground not knowing what to do.

Fujio running whirled and his eyes almost widened off their socket. "SAKURA!" He shouts rushing to her in pants, making sure his eyes were both on her and the plague coming for them.

The Kaiju jumped coming but Fuijo slid to where she was grabbing her. His Gunbelt shoots a wire behind them pulling them backward abruptly away from the Kaijus claws.

An arrow inbound on the Kaijus head instantly, shot by Shino.

Fuijo uses that opportunity as he grabs Sakura, dashing back to their Hellhound.

With the fast speed of the Kaijus, they clawed at the bio-genetics, devouring them as panic and horrifying screams chime in the area, as well as sights of blood splashing into the air and staining the ground, into red sand.

"KIYO!!" a boy shouts in horror.

On hearing him, the Kaiju dashed after him, but before it could reach him Anzai drove his Hellhound sliding, as the body of the machine hit the Kaiju off but it got back up, Anzai shot at it.

"QUICK! BACK TO YOUR HELLHOUND!" he shouted and the boy dashed out in tears.

Anzai cocks his gun with clenched teeth shooting at as many Kaijus as he could but more came from beneath, there wasn’t an end to them, they were badly ambushed.

"WE SHOULD MOVE OUT, I HAVE DETECTED CONCRETE A MILE AWAY!" Kazuya shouts as her transparent iPad beeps.

"BIO-GENETICS MOVE! TORI TAKE THE LEAD!" Anzai shouts an order.

With a nod Tori drove ahead, followed by Hachiro and Kenta along with the bio-genetics.

Screams, shouts, and blood slashes can be heard as both bio-genetics were devoured and Kaijus killed, the sands getting painted more in crimson.

The rest moved ahead but the Kaijus clustered, about hundreds of them.

’We can’t take them all’ Anzai thought with widened eyes of horror as he watched the wave of Kaijus.

He starts his Hellhound driving to catch up with the rest, speeding while shooting at as many Kaijus as he can.

The kaijus were fast speeding aggressively as they jumped at the bio-genetics clawing them off the Hellhounds as shouts could be heard, the empty Hellhounds somersaulting causing a mild explosion as they connected to the ground.

"DRIVE FASTER! MATSU!"

"I AM RIO! JUST KEEP SHOOTING!" Matsu shouts as Rio takes the lead in shooting at the upcoming Kaijus.

But one came at them jumping at them, they screamed as their Hellhound somersaults caused an explosion.

"Hanka, face forward! Don’t look back, ya know!" Sand yelled to his partner, they were just ahead of the explosion.

Hanka with her shaky eyes turned.

"We won’t survive this," she said, trembling.

"Soldiers or not we don’t stand a chance against those things" she adds, turning back to face the incoming Kaijus.

Her teeth clenched.

"Keep riding Sand and don’t stop!" she said her tone laced with seriousness, her eyes changed to her bio-genetics ones.

Sand froze at her words as he felt her weight off him from behind.

In panic, he turns in slow motion, his heart slamming loudly in his eardrums and his breath-taking prolonged.

"HANKA!!!" he shouts.

She was up in the air with the help of her Gunbelt shooting at the Kaijus to buy them time.

But then about three jumps up at her at once.

The wire sticking to the Hellhound was pinned off due to the force, and Sand caught it, his cheeks stained with tears not wanting to let go. Due to how thin the wires were, it cut his hand, but it wasn’t the pain that was his focus, he had to hold on no matter what, what else could he do other than that?

Hanka smiled and she pulled the wire off from his grip, knowing very well the Kaijus would catch up to him if he keeps holding on, she didn’t know what came over her to do this, but she knew he would have a high chance of surviving, she was always a softie, to begin with, or maybe she chooses death than to live in this hellish world, she could only pray silently in her head to meet her parents in the afterlife. The Kaijus were already devouring her like a hump of meat.

Sand’s body went petrified, watching the gruesome scene play before his eyes and being imprinted in his memory like a mark. The wind carried his sandy hair up revealing his dark brown eyes red with tears.

"Hey, do you wanna be riding partners?" Hanka asked behind.

Sand paused his walking action turning to a girl with dark blue hair packed in twos, she also had light black eyes.

Sand smiled curly.

"Yup, you ain’t too bad," Sand said.

She giggled at his accent.

"Are you a rapper or something? That’s so cute" she remarked.

Making Sand blush lightly.

"And why is your hair so outgrown covering your eyes? You need to get it cut" she said, assessing him closely and making Sand sweat profusely.

"Oh I know... once we get to Fukuoka will help you cut it, what do you say?" She offered with a smile against her lips.

Sand smiled curly.

Sand gasps breaking out of his trance, at that split second, three Kaiju aimed an attack at him...
