484 “Uh yes, the traitor.”

“Excuse me.... excuse me... out of my way,” were the loud shouts of a woman running through the passageways of the Cetus warship.

“Hey,”

“Watch it,”

Were the sounds of people yelling after her as she mercilessly pushed through the crowds.

She had tried several times to contact the former Marshal but each time the communication failed.

Left with no choice she rushed over to the captain’s cabin. Without any consideration, she banged on the door several times.

“Sir, sir,” called out Li Ran’s mother, and half a minute later the door slid open.

Yi Zhen who hadn’t rested well for days and had finally laid his head down was sitting at the edge of the bed with a dissatisfied look on his face.

“What is it?” he asked while rubbing his forehead.

.....

“It’s the Han warship... it retreated. They, they retracted all their weapons and they look like they are preparing for warp speed,” she explained unable to make sense of it all.

For five days straight they had been in a freaking standoff with the Han warship. That’s because the prime ministers bluntly accused the Bloodgarde of the Marshal’s disappearance.

After that, all hell broke loose. As though history was repeating itself they were finally determined to bring the Bloodgarde down. Because the prime ministers had ill intentions they leaked out the information that Yi Chen was missing and rumours that it had something to do with the Bloodgarde were spread like wildfire.

Cities burnt to the ground as waves of protests swept through the major cities in the Federation. The former Marshal was yet again put in the same position. A position he didn’t want to be in.

Zi Xingxi wasn’t shy about it at all. She was ready to burn everything to the ground. Her husband’s family built everything they had and they designed him with no scruples. Since they were ungrateful she was ready to tear faces and ruin them.

Yi Zhen didn’t want things to reach such an extent thus he went in between them. That is after Zi Xingxi’s men bombed several of the mansions belonging to the prime ministers. Zi

Feiji didn’t stand by either. He was still bankrupting some of their businesses and leaving them all penniless. Their secrets and shady deals were exposed for all to see.

After that Cetus and Han went head to head or in other words it was Cetus blocking Han from reaching Capital Star.

After days of this standoff with their guns drawn Han just gave up just like that and left. Something had to be wrong. They had to be up to something. 𝑓𝙧𝘦𝘦we𝘣𝙣𝘰𝘃𝗲l.com

“Shit,” he swore as he got up to grab his light brain. He frantically dialled Zi Feiji but five rings later there was no answer.

Meanwhile, Zi Xingxi who was sitting on the captain’s chair giving out commands saw her father turning down a video call and asked, “Who is it?”

“Who else could it be?” replied Zi Feiji apparently not in the mood to deal with him.

“He probably wants to know where we are going,” he continued to say.

“Then I will enjoy cussing him out,” said Zi Xingxi.

“Then here. Please be my guest,” he said tossing the light brain to her.

With an electronic click, the video call was accepted and Zi Xingxi put on a sly smile like a fox taunting others for no reason.

“Uh yes, the traitor. What can I do for you? Bear in mind. I am a very busy woman.”

“Woman, I am not a traitor. I am trying to stop you from burning all bridges. I don’t want your son to return to a burning world,” replied Marshal Yi wondering why he couldn’t speak to Zi Feiji, he was the most sensible one in this situation.

“Blah blah blah. Since when have you cared about my son? You are just looking out for your so called family legacy. Now, if you have nothing else I will go now,” she said her finger reaching over to end the call.

“Wait wait where are you going?” he asked but even he knew she would never reveal that answer.

As expected she looked at him as though looking at an idiot before saying, “And why would I tell you that. Go do your own homework Yi Zhen and fuck off,” flicking him off with her middle finger.

Zi Feiji, “...”

His fist propping his cheek he asked, “Is this going to be a thing now?”

“What do you mean is this going to be a thing? I have always been like this just not in front of you,” she said and Zi Feiji shook his head. The video call that had just ended rang again but no one answered.

“We are going dark,” she said and Lynn Feng answered,

“Yes ma’am,” before pressing a few commands.

The warship that was hovering in their proximity suddenly disappeared leaving behind a confused Cetus.

The former Marshal sat there like the thinker statue repeating her words. He looked up at Li Ran’s mother and said,

“What does she mean by homework... I don’t get it.”

Li Ran’s mom shook her head unable to comprehend the meaning as well.

Meanwhile, Zi Xingxi glanced at her father and asked, “Do you really think they came back?”

Zi Feiji looked at her like he also didn’t have the answer. They had recorded a surge in energy similar to the one detected when Zi Han performed a space jump so it had to be him, right?

“We can only wait and see,” he replied and Zi Xingxi nodded her head as she exhaled lightly to calm her nerves.

It didn’t take long for them to reach Loch Ness star. Like they had done dozens of times before they sneaked onto the planet but when they reached the snowy mountains everything was in chaos.

The military officers protecting the mountains found themselves in a terrible situation. They had to find a way to kill this beast that had shown up out of thin air and began to attack the mountains.

Lucky for them it hadn’t struck the focal points which were the most volatile otherwise this world would have come to an end in an even more devastating way than when the old earth was destroyed.

“Hurry up... tell headquarters,” yelled the commander in charge.

“Yes sir,” yelled a short girl as she sent out a distress signal. Just when the message was sent through something unexpected happened.
