Competition Ground, Ishtar. 𝐟𝓇ℯ𝒆we𝒃𝘯𝒐νe𝑙.co𝚖

"Boom!'

The ground shook as an explosive noise rangout. A huge sand golem was currently wreaking havoc in the middle of the competition ground. Each of its punches carried a devastating force, and no one could counter it head on.

All the people facing Arthur in this form were feeling a little helpless now. This guy's strength had really climbed to a terrifying level right now. Even though it wasn't in the realm of the Master Tier, it definitely had gone to the peak of expertise or might even have gone a little ahead of it.

"This really isn't helping!!" Tia yelled as she dodged the attack once again, and almost reached the end of the colosseum made of sand.

"Whoosh!"

The Giant golem seemed to be targeting Tia. Arthur was clearly trying to take them out one at a time. And, Tia obviously seemed to be the weakest one, and also the most injured.

As the Golem once again made a move, and sent a fist crashing down on Tia, a golden light flashed with the sound of a thunder clap, and the golem's fist crashed onto the ground with another thunderous boom.

But, when a flash of light vanished, Tia was carried away by Melan, who really didn't seem to care for the lady as he dragged Tia by her collar.

"Cough! Cough!" Tia held her neck and coughed vigorously when the guy finally let go of her. "You b*stard! You almost killed me!"

Melan didn't pay her any heed. He had saved her because with the situation at hand, every person counted.

"Get ready!! It's coming!!" Melan warned her, seeing the golem turn towards them.

"I think we should break the wall and get away!" Tia suggested as she looked towards Melan.

"It won't change anything. The competition won't be over until we beat him. Not to mention, I don't think we will be able to last much longer if we start a game of chase with this monster behind us.." Melan shook his head.

"Right, so we will destroy it now.." August's voice rang out, and next instant, black flames suddenly rose into the sky from the other side where August was.

"What is this?!" Tia hurriedly backed away with a shocked look on her face as she felt a burning sensation on her skin from the sheer amount of him that was originating from the flames.

Even Melan strengthened his mana buried, and backed away with a dark look on his face.

'Damn it! He is way stronger than I imagined! This guy is not normal!' Melan was sure of it. He had seen people from his family, and there was no way that someone at the mid level of expert tier could match this guy. At least no normal person could. He was sure that late stage experts from his family would be needed if they wanted to hold this guy back.

'Why is he so strong?' Melan had no idea. 'I feel something different about him all of a sudden..'

A frown appeared on his face as he began to feel an unusual change in August, it felt as if it was there but not at the same time. He could instinctively feel it, but if you asked him to spot it, then it wasn't possible for him.

On the other side, the look on Faryl's face changed when he felt the change in August's aura.

It seemed that the guy was finally getting serious.

People didn't seem to have noticed it, but Faryl was very close to August, but he didn't seem to be much affected by the residual heat.

"Let me see how powerful you truly are.." Arthur's voice rang out. It seemed that he was in full control of the situation.

"Yeah… I planned to show it to you too.." August spoked with a serious look on his face while his other hand went behind his back, and he signaled others to be prepared.

Even he knew that beating this guy himself was no longer feasible. After all, his strength had gone way beyond what August was initially supposed to deal with.

"Roarr!!!"

The golem let out a roar as it threw its fist forward.

August on the other side too broke out in a dash with his body covered in flames. It only took a second, before the two of them collided.

"Boom!"

A ball of black flames exploded, and everyone immediately erected their mana barrier to their full capacity to defend themselves.

When the flames vanished, things became clear to everyone.

August was on one of his knees after clearly being overpowered by golem, and as everyone thought that it was going to be one sided, a cracking noise entered their ears.

And, the next second…

"Shatter!"

In front of everyone's eyes, the arm of the golem shattered as if it was a piece of glass, and instantly turned into dust.

"Y-You!!" Arthur too finally realized what had happened, and as he hurriedly tried to regenerate the hand, people made their move.

This opening was after all too sweet to let go off.

"Whoosh!"

Melan was the fastest to reach, his body covered in golden light, pierced through the golem's knees. A place where it was weak at. The damage immediately made the golem come down on one of its knees.

But, by this time, its' other hand had already formed into a fist, and was coming crashing down on both August and Melan who were exhausted and not in position to timely react after using their strongest moves.

"Not so soon.." Faryl smiled and under his command, the ground beneath the golem's feet caved in. Its fist missed August and Melan by a hair's breadth too.

"It's my turn now!" Tia was extremely quick on her feet. The golem was now down on both its' feet, using one hand to support itself from fully falling to the ground while the other still needed a few more seconds to regenerate.

That thing was totally defenseless now.

"You are dead!"

A hammer suddenly appeared in Tia's hand, and with a leap she soared into the sky, and with a giant swing, the hammer came crashing right on top of the golem's head.

"Boom!"
