Ten Thousand Dragons Technique-Chapter 208: Honored Guest!
Chu Yue was furious. One of the disciples beside her said, "I’ll go take a look."
He returned a moment later. "Senior Sister, it’s the manor’s Grand Steward."
Chu Yue was stunned, and the others were in an uproar. The Grand Steward’s status was exceptionally high. Could we have offended him? At this thought, Chu Yue stood up. "So it is the Grand Steward. May I ask why the array is being shut down?"
The Grand Steward replied, "Not only the array but the entire Cyan Dragon Mountain Villa is being closed. Please, everyone, leave immediately."
Leave? What does he mean? Chu Yue was stunned, and the others exchanged looks of disbelief.
The Grand Steward clarified, "I mean that I must ask all of you to depart from the Cyan Dragon Mountain Villa."
Everyone was bewildered. Chu Yue’s expression turned incredibly ugly. Being asked to leave in the middle of a banquet was no different from being unceremoniously kicked out. This is a slap to my face! She was instantly enraged.
"Do you have any idea what you are saying?" she demanded.
The Grand Steward said indifferently, "This has indeed happened suddenly, and we will make amends. We will not charge you for any of today’s banquet expenses. Furthermore, we will present everyone with a small gift. Please, do us this small favor. The next time you visit, all your expenses will be half price."
This was already showing them a great deal of respect. It was only because she was Chu Zhongtian’s sister; anyone else who dared to question him like this would have been slapped and sent flying long ago. In fact, the Cyan Dragon Mountain Villa was unaware of the feud between Chu Yue and Lin Xuan. Had they known the two were mortal enemies, they wouldn’t have been so polite and would have likely thrown Chu Yue and her group out directly.
But Chu Yue didn’t see it that way. She felt utterly humiliated. This is clearly targeting me.
"It is impossible for me to leave," she said coldly. "I will pay you. I will even pay you double. Reactivate the array. We will continue our banquet."
The Grand Steward shook his head. "This is not a matter of money. We must receive a far more distinguished guest, so I must insist that you leave."
Everyone around them was stunned. A more distinguished guest? Who could possibly be more distinguished than Chu Yue? After all, she was Chu Zhongtian’s sister, a woman of extremely high status. Could it be a prince or princess from the imperial family? A buzz of discussion erupted through the crowd.
Chu Yue’s expression faltered. "Who is this more distinguished person? Are they more distinguished than me?" What a joke. I refuse to believe anyone is more distinguished than I am.
"Where is your Manor Master? I wish to see him," Chu Yue said coldly.
The Grand Steward replied, "The Manor Master is currently receiving the esteemed guest. He has no time to see you. You should leave."
Chu Yue’s face turned frigid. "And what if I refuse?"
"Then don’t blame us for being discourteous." With that, the Grand Steward waved his hand.
Several guards in full Battle Armor entered from outside, their expressions as cold as ice as they fixed their gazes on Chu Yue’s group. With a single command from the Grand Steward, they would act, throwing every last one of them out.
The disciples’ expressions changed. They hadn’t expected the Cyan Dragon Mountain Villa to actually make a move. Are they trying to make an enemy of us?
Chu Yue’s face turned grim. "How audacious! You dare to lay a hand on me?" she said coldly. "You’re nothing but a steward! Do you have the authority to make this decision? Do you know who I am? I am Chu Zhongtian’s sister! You dare touch me? Go and get your Manor Master. Now! I demand to see him!"
"I am acting on the Manor Master’s direct orders," the Grand Steward stated coldly. "The Manor Master said that if we could not persuade you to leave, we would have to throw you out."
What? Chu Yue was stunned, and the others were completely bewildered. This was actually the Manor Master’s order? How could this be happening? The crowd erupted in an uproar as Chu Yue went mad with fury.
She had invited so many talented cultivators today. If she were thrown out, the news would spread across the entire Great Xia Country in an instant, and she would become a national laughingstock. As a person of immense pride, how could she possibly endure such a thing? She would never allow this to happen.
"My brother is Chu Zhongtian!" she declared. "He is the future Martial Emperor, the future sovereign of the Great Xia Country! Even the imperial family wouldn’t dare treat me this way! Are you certain you want to drive me out? Can your Cyan Dragon Mountain Villa afford the consequences?"
Faced with this threat, the Grand Steward remained expressionless. He said coldly, "The Manor Master said, and I quote, ’What is Chu Zhongtian? He is nothing compared to our honored guest.’ If you do not leave now, do not blame me for what happens next."
Baffled. Chu Yue was completely and utterly baffled. Unexpectedly, even her brother’s name was useless. Damn it! Who is this person? Who in the world is this honored guest? Could their status truly be greater than my brother’s? Impossible! It’s absolutely impossible!
"Damn you! I’ll fight you all!" Chu Yue prepared to attack, but the other disciples rushed to restrain her.
"Senior Sister, you can’t!"
"That Grand Steward may be just a steward in name, but he is a genuine Grandmaster!"
"That’s right! This is their territory. If we start a fight, we’ll be the ones to suffer a great loss!"
"Senior Sister, let’s just go. We’re on their turf; we have no choice but to bow our heads."
What? Chu Yue was dumbfounded. Go? Leave? Isn’t that the same as being kicked out? No, I don’t want to go. I can’t go.
The other disciples sighed. If they didn’t leave now, they would really be thrown out. In that case, they would lose all face completely. Moreover, the other party had already made concessions: waiving the bill, offering gifts, and even promising a half-price discount on their next visit. They had already been given a graceful way out of this situation. All they had to do was leave. Besides, everyone else at the Cyan Dragon Mountain Villa was being asked to leave too, so it wouldn’t be a personal humiliation. The disciples tried their best to persuade her.
But Chu Yue refused to yield. She was far too proud. As Chu Zhongtian’s sister, she got whatever she wanted, whenever she wanted. No one had ever dared to defy her.
"I will not leave today," she announced. "I’d like to see if you actually dare to touch me. If you so much as touch a single hair on my head, my brother will never let you off!"
The Grand Steward’s face darkened, and he waved his hand again. The surrounding guards, radiating killing intent, advanced on Chu Yue’s group.
A moment later, one guard grabbed a disciple by the collar. With a flick of his wrist, he tossed the disciple out like a ragdoll. The disciple landed with a pained grunt far outside the hall. The others watched, astounded. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
Some of the young talents from other families shouted, "Stop! We’ll leave!" and quickly departed.
Soon, only the disciples from the Heavenly Dao Academy remained.
"Senior Sister, what do we do?"
Chu Yue’s face was pale. She had never expected them to actually dare to use force. As she hesitated, two more disciples were unceremoniously thrown out.
Just as a guard’s hand reached for her, Chu Yue cried out, "Stop! I’ll leave!"
Hearing her words, the guard halted his advance.
The Grand Steward gestured. "Please."
Chu Yue walked resentfully toward the exit. As she passed the Grand Steward, she gritted her teeth and asked, "Tell me. Who is this honored guest?" She loathed this person with every fiber of her being and swore that she would have her revenge.
"That Young Master is high above the clouds, not someone you can afford to provoke," the Grand Steward said coldly. "I advise you to abandon any thought of revenge. Otherwise, you will die a miserable death."
Young Master? Chu Yue was taken aback. It’s a young man? In the entire Great Xia Country, what young man possesses a status that surpasses my own?
The remaining disciples buzzed with speculation.
