System's POV-Chapter 918: As Expected Of His Highnezzz!
"I see. So that pompous princess was the one sent in this world to lead their forces." Prince Xylen Vashkra of the Azarith Court chuckled. "I guess I overestimated those birdbrains from House Pavereth. They really know how to shoot themselves in the foot."
"Yezzz, Your Highnezzz," a snake-man replied. "Should we offer her some cockroach salve to help moisturize her skin?"
"Hahaha! I can already imagine the look of disgust on her face, but let's save that for later," Prince Xylen said. "Help me try to make this thing work."
The Prince pointed at the communicator gifted to him by Prince Zorren, who had taken over the city only twenty miles away from their location.
"Prince Zorrenzzz has sent one of those Wandererzzz that are under his controlzzz," the snake-man commented. "Should I bring him herezzz?"
"Yes." Prince Xylen nodded. "Zorren told me there are many interesting things to learn from these humans."
A few minutes later, the hypnotized Wanderer taught the young man how to use the communicator.
"This button will allow you to access the saved contacts stored inside this communicator," the Wanderer said in a monotonous tone.
"Perfect," Prince Xylen replied with a smile. "Now, tell me—who among these contacts holds a high position in your world? I want to talk to them and make them surrender peacefully under my leadership."
The Wanderer glanced at the list of contacts before pointing at a name.
"This person is considered the most influential person in the world," the Wanderer said. "With a word from him, the armies of humanity will mobilize."
"Really?" Prince Xylen's eyes widened in shock. "Quickly, connect me to this person at once. I will allow him to become my subordinate."
"Understood." The Wanderer then taught the prince how to set up a call using the communicator.
Once the prince understood how to do it properly, he didn't hesitate to contact the person the Wanderer referred to as a very influential person.
Half a minute later, the call finally connected, and the projection of a teenage boy with short black hair and green eyes appeared in front of the prince.
"Greetings, human of Pangea," Prince Xylen said. "I am Prince Xylen Vashkra, hailing from the Azrakith Court. I called you to ask that you surrender to me. In return, I will allow you and your people to live. We will also give you the honor of serving our family, allowing your future children to become one of our retainers."
The teenage boy on the projection didn't answer right away.

Instead, he gave Prince Xylen a long and hard look that lasted for nearly a minute.
"Hey, is this thing broken?" Prince Xylen asked because the teenage boy's image seemed to be frozen in place.
"It shouldn't be broken," the Wanderer replied.
"He's right. It's not broken," the teenage boy replied. "I was just so overwhelmed that someone with a high standing like you would dare to contact someone as lowly as me."
"Hah! Finally, a smart human!" Prince Xylen laughed. "Well, then. Do you accept my offer?"
"Before I answer that question, can I ask you a question first?" the teenage boy asked back.
"Very well." Prince Xylen nodded. "This prince will allow it."
"Can I trust you?" the teenage boy asked.
"Of course, you can!" Prince Xylen replied without hesitation.
"Then come and meet me at these coordinates," the teenage boy commented. "We will talk in private, so my comrades will not know that I plan to become one of your loyal subordinates.
"But remember this—since I plan to keep this as a secret from my comrades, you must also keep this as a secret from the others. Bring only a handful of people you can trust to the place where we will meet."
"Understood." Prince Xylen nodded. "When will we meet?"
"Four days from now."
"Good. I'll be there in four days. Make sure not to make this Prince wait."
"Yes, Your Highness."
The teenage boy bowed respectfully, making Prince Xylen smile from ear to ear.
When the conversation finally ended, the Prince immediately asked the Wanderer to bring him to the location that the teenage boy had mentioned earlier.
"Your Highnezz, don't you find his actions suspiciouzzz?" the snake-man asked.
"Of course, I know he's suspicious," Prince Xylen replied. "Do you think I am stupid?"
The snake-man paused for a few seconds before giving his reply.
"… As expected of his Highnezzz!" the snake-man commented. "You are able to sense that the young human's words are suspiciouzzz. But why did you agree to meet himzzzz?"
"It's really simple," Prince Xylen smirked. "We will go there to capture him. Only after he has inhaled the aroma of the Pentatomidae will he be spilling all the secrets he possesses.
"Quickly, take all the Rank 7 that accompanied us here and make them come with me to the meeting place."
"Hahaha! Prince Zorren and that Birdbrain Princess will be surprised when they realize that I was able to subdue humanity without having to resort to a massacre.
"I'm sure my father will be happy with my accomplishments once he hears that I managed to conquer this world so easily."
"Your Highnezzzz is truly wise." The snake-man bowed. "I will now call the others to accompany you in this endeavor."
Prince Xylen nodded and laughed one more time.
He couldn't believe how lucky he was and praised the Wanderer for doing a good job of explaining to him how the communicator worked.
Meanwhile, in a canyon that was currently at the southeast of the continent…
"Do you know that person, Zion?" Sherry asked.
"No," Thirteen replied. "But I will get to know him soon."
"Why does he have two antennas on his head?" Sherry inquired. "Is he a cosplayer?"
"He's not a cosplayer." Thirteen shook his head. "He's not human."
"Ah!" Sherry covered her pink cherry lips with her hands in surprise. "Is that person a Jinn?"
"I think so." Thirteen smirked. "But he sure is quite interesting."
The teenage boy pondered a bit before leaving his Humvee to talk to his grandfather.
This was quite a sensitive matter, and he needed someone he could trust to accompany him when he met the Prince, who had no idea what awaited him at their agreed meeting place.
