"Y-You!" Shana couldn’t help but cry out as she pinned the Sorceress on the bed. "How can you do such a thing?!"

Erica giggled, not minding Shana’s outburst.

The Sorceress even had the ’just as planned’ look on her face as she gazed at the angry Shana, who was now on top of her.

However, she wasn’t someone who liked to take things lying down, so she moved her body, flipping Shana to the side and reversing their positions.

Now, the one on top was Erica, while Shana was the one being pinned down onto the bed.

"Yes, it was me, the Matchmaker, Erica!" Erica proudly patted her chest, making the Saintess look at it, feeling a little bit inferior because Erica’s chest was bigger than hers. "Now that Zion has marked you with his lips, you have no choice but to join our family."

"You’re so cruel!" Shana complained. "Why did you have to do that?!"

"Because I find it annoying," Erica replied in a heartbeat. "Also, I don’t want you to end up with someone you don’t like. Although I’m guilty of pulling the string behind the scenes… and the one on your dress, I did it because I believe it’s something that must be done."

The Sorceress then placed her hands on Shana’s shoulder and held her gaze.

"Will you keep denying your feelings?" Erica asked. "Or will you start to embrace it like I did? The choice is up to you. I understand Zion is clueless about love, but this isn’t a bad thing.

"Wouldn’t you want him to fall in love with you and make him understand what love truly is? You already said he’s a brick, which I wholeheartedly agree with. But, Sherry told me something different.

"She said Zion is like a locked treasure chest that wouldn’t break no matter how much you try to open it by force. However, once you find the key that fits its hole, you will discover a treasure no one else has seen before."

Erica closed her eyes. "I want to see that treasure, but I feel like just Sherry and I will not have what it takes to find that key to open it up.

"However, if the three of us work together, I’m sure that one day, we will be able to unlock his heart and finally see his blushing face once he realizes how utterly in love he is with the three of us!"

Shana could feel her heart beating wildly inside her chest as she listened to Erica’s words.

She was still feeling confused, and yet, she couldn’t help but feel relieved, expectant, fearful, and anxious at the same time.

Relieved because Erica, who would likely be Zion’s first wife, was telling her that she wanted her to become part of Zion’s family.

She felt expectant because she wondered what it would feel like to unlock Zion’s heart, which didn’t understand what it feels like to fall in love.

Fearful because she didn’t know if taking that step to truly get closer to him would be rewarded.

And anxious because the two of them would get separated for more than a year.

She was worried that their relationship would become distant and that when they finally met again, the young man would look at her with an indifferent gaze, which she feared would leave her heartbroken.

"Now, let me tell you the bad news."

Erica’s words snapped Shana from her daze, which made her heart skip a beat. Find your next read at novelbuddy

"What’s the bad news?" Shana asked.

"The bad news is that, if you don’t make your move before we arrive at the Temple, you and Zion might become distant when the two of you meet in the Cygni Continent," Erica answered.

"I believe we only have a day left before we arrive at the Temple, which means you only have until tomorrow to let him know how you feel about him."

Erica then placed her right hand on Shana’s chest, pressing it over the spot where her heart was located.

"Zion might not know what it means to love someone romantically, but he is not stupid," Erica declared. "If you say it upfront, even a brick will have no choice but to take you seriously. Remember, you only have until tomorrow.

"So, decide whether you will bury your feelings for him and let the two of you grow distant, or if you can take that step to make that silly Brick crack a bit.

"Whatever your decision, tell me before the sun sets. That way, I can help you pull some strings and set the mood, okay?"

After saying what she wanted to say, Erica got off Shana and walked away, leaving the Saintess on the bed, thinking of what to do next.

Shana, who was left alone to think, suddenly noticed something in the corner of her eyes.

Two Pocopocos were perched on the window of the room, looking at Shana with awkward expressions on their faces.

"Um, we didn’t hear anything," Pica said.

"Right." Pico nodded. "We didn’t hear anything about the Master biting your…"

"Ahhhh!" Shana acted before she could think and summoned her silver banner.

She then unleashed a storm of flower petals that captured the two Pocopocos before they could continue whatever they were going to say next.

Of course, Shana had no intention of harming them, but out of embarrassment, she decided to have a heart-to-heart talk with Pico and Pica, who liked to spread gossip among Zion’s Monster Army.

The Saintess was certain that if she let the two birds escape, whatever she and Erica discussed earlier would spread like wildfire, which might force Shana to dig a hole and bury herself inside of it.

"Big Sis, don’t worry. We are on your side!" Pica said without hesitation.

She knew that Shana wasn’t in the right state of mind right now, so they needed to act quickly before the Saintess did something that might spiral out of control.

"That’s right!" Pico nodded. "If you let us go, we will tell you about our Master’s weakness!"

Shana, who was thinking that she should lock up the two birds, paused for a brief moment and looked at Pico with a burning gaze.

"Weakness?" Shana asked. "Zion has a weakness?"

"He has!" Pica, who immediately understood what her brother was talking about, commented. "I’m sure that if you used it against the Master, you would have him by the neck! It’s that effective!"

"Yes!" Pico raised his right wing. "In fact, Erica and Sherry always use this weakness to have their way with Master. He simply doesn’t have the ability to resist once you take hold of his weakness!"

The more Shana listened to the two Pocopocos, the more interested she became.

In the end, the three had a non-disclosure agreement of whatever they talked about inside the room.

At that exact moment, Thirteen felt a chill run down his spine, making him feel that something bad was about to happen to him.

’Am I just overthinking things?’ Thirteen thought.

After pondering for a few seconds, the teenage boy shook his head and assumed that it was just a normal body reaction due to his current condition.

He wasn’t aware that the two baby Pocopocos had joined Shana’s camp and had leaked their Master’s weakness, which would lead to consequences that Pico and Pica didn’t foresee.
