Survival Story of a Sword King in a Fantasy World-Chapter 191
Between Rescue and Kidnap (2)
The night was deep, and everyone was asleep.
However, in fact, there were more awake people in the royal villa than asleep.
The only residents there were the deposed Fairy King and Fairy Queen. The servants and maids who served them commuted to and from the main palace, so the rest were all surveillance forces.
Even that night, the Sword King Legion was on high alert.
While strictly controlling all entrances, numerous guards remained wary of intruders with their eyes wide open throughout the passage.
In that case, there were no guards who dozed off, which was typical.
Why?
They couldn’t sleep too well, even if they wanted to doze off.
It was because of the strong policies of the Commander of the Sword King Army, Felard Bean.
“Night Watchmen? Let them sleep! Let them sleep during the day!”
Ryu Han-bin had experience rubbing his sleepy eyes and serving as a sentry when he was in the military.
Not forgetting the brutal memories of those days, he forced his troops to sleep for eight hours, even in broad daylight.
It was a stupid thing.
That was tough because it was based on Korean young people in their 20s who were suddenly taken to the military after only playing games or drinking, and their lives weren’t as bad in Latna, where their ordinary lives were tough.
It was a waste in terms of troop arrangements, and it wasn’t necessary to do so in terms of physical management.
The other commanders of the Allendia were at a loss.
“No, I don’t know why you’re going so far…”
However, they didn’t dare object.
The originator was the ‘Sword King.’
He wasn’t just a standard Sword King but also a genius of both mind and martial arts. He even had a reputation as an ‘extraordinary strategist.’
Since the six Churches were constantly talking about the fantastic feats his strategic tactics had achieved, they thought there would be something extraordinary, so they just voted in favor.
Well, waste or whatever, it was a good situation for the soldiers.
They could still get paid for the night after sleeping well.
That increased their loyalty to Felard Bean, but it didn’t matter at the moment.
However, it was clear that the alert was quite thorough.
Under the darkness outside the palace, a group of men whispered, hiding.
“If only we were trying to infiltrate…”
“We can’t find the solution, hmm.”
“Whoa…”
In his ceremonial robe, the Elven young man smiled coldly and told them, “Leave it to me. I’ll make the way soon.”
* * *
Two soldiers in heavy armor, holding their spears firmly, guarded the aisle.
Someone appeared in front of them.
Soldiers shouted out with discipline.
“Stop!”
“Who is it? Identify yourself.”
The Elf with a basket in one hand bowed his head.
“Princess Seira’s servant, Raondel.”
The soldiers relaxed their guard and lowered the spear.
“Oh, Mr. Raondel?”
“What brings you here?”
“In response to your hard work, the princess sent a late-night snack.”
The basket contained simple bread and wines.
The soldiers were happy to take the basket.
“Oh, thank you.”
“Thank you for the meal.”
Guards couldn’t eat openly.
If they wanted to eat, they needed a dark spot.
Smiling, the two guards headed to a small warehouse on one side of the aisle.
Watching the scene, Raondel looked contemptible.
‘Tsk, it’s just a flashy look. Military discipline is a mess.’
The one who stood guard ate in the meantime.
It could never happen among a well-disciplined army.
They weren’t even a mighty army. Actually, but they were called the strongest just because of the protection of the Sword King Felard.
‘What stupid guys.’
Members of Einstale stampeded past the passage while the surveillance was lifted.
As they continued to move while hiding in the dark, they saw two guards again on the other side of the corridor.
Raondel whispered to Baccal, the Commander of Einstale.
“They’re elite soldiers. The same trick won’t work.”
“What do we do?”
Raondel smiled with a sympathetic smile.
“I’ll draw their attention. You can move in that gap.”
He deliberately headed to the bushes located in the opponent’s view. And he rustled on purpose.
Naturally, soldiers came running with their spears crossed.
“Who is it!”
“Show yourself!”
Raondel raised his hands with an awkward smile.
“Princess Seira said she had lost something, so I’m looking for it. Didn’t you hear her?”
“Really?”
“I didn’t hear that.”
With their tongues clicked, the soldiers reprimanded Raondel.
“You should be careful.”
“It isn’t a good idea to move at night like that.”
It wasn’t an attitude of doubt at all.
They even beckoned Raondel to finish searching.
Satisfied with his acting skills, the Elf headed beyond the darkness.
Einstale troops were waiting.
A brilliant infiltration was executed when the guards turned their eyes for a moment.
“Good job, Prince Raondel.”
“Let’s move on.”
He shrugged his shoulders.
“I was prepared to see blood just in case, but it’s going well.”
Still, he had a severe look on his face.
“From here, we won’t be able to avoid battle.”
* * *
They finally reached the innermost part of the royal villa.
After passing through the corridor and the courtyard, they would find the confined Loflan and Hollien.
Four soldiers were guarding the front.
There were two Magic Swordsmen wearing light armor and two Mages sitting on rocks in ragged robes.
Raondel whispered.
“They don’t even take turns. Let’s stick to that position until sunrise.”
They had to see blood there.
With authority, he gave orders.
“Now! Clear them!”
Frankly, Raondel wasn’t in a position to order them.
Einstale moved without complaining, although they might be angry that Raondel didn’t know his position.
The two shadows circled the inside of the corridor and approached under cover of darkness.
Their targets were the Mages in robes, who were much easier to kill than the Magic Swordsmen in light armor.
They approached without a sound and stabbed them.
Ting!
The dagger bounced off.
The Einstale member’s face hardened in surprise.
‘Ugh!’
At the same time, their target lifted himself.
“Whoa…”
He breathed out and threw off the robe.
As if balloons were swelling up, his size grew horribly, and his head shot up over the top of the adult’s head.
He was no longer a Mage.
He was a 190-centimeters-tall muscular barbarian warrior.
He looked down at everyone with a hideous look.
“Welcome, intruders.”
Raondel freaked out.
“Gasp!”
He could never be unaware of that face.
“The… The Sword King Felard?”
* * *
The other wizard also threw off his robe.
A handsome young man with blond hair in a white coat appeared.
Indeed, he wasn’t a real Mage either.
“Waiting was pretty boring.”
Leon Hart, a member of the Top Four, was also hiding among the guards.
Raondel quivered and asked.
“Did you notice?”
“Wouldn’t we notice that?”
It was not Ryu Han-bin or Leon Hart who answered.
The answer was from behind Raondel’s back.
Before he knew it, several soldiers were already surrounding them.
Raondel’s expression was even more wrinkled.
“Y-you bastards!”
They were the ones who just got a late-night snack, who had been ‘deceived’ by his performance.
“Oh, thank you for the bread.”
“The drink was delicious.”
“But you’re terrible at acting, aren’t you?”
“Isn’t it a problem if it’s worse than us?”
Raondel’s legs trembled.
He was confused by the pouring ridicule.
However, there was no way he didn’t notice the situation at that point.
“These damn pigs…”
Mumbling, he took a step backward.
At that point, he had only Einstale to trust, but their expressions were unexpected.
“Whoa.”
Everyone was laughing coldly, but there was no sign of embarrassment even though they were surrounded everywhere.
“Felard Bean the Sword King, and Leon Hart the Spiritual Boxer. It’s a great honor to meet such well-known people.”
Einstale’s Commander, Baccal, stepped forward.
“As expected, both of you showed up here.”
Raondel let out a blank voice.
“… What do you mean as expected?”
Ignoring him, Baccal continued.
“Did you think we’d be stupid enough to trust the incompetent?”
Raondel, astounded, alternately glanced at Han-bin and Einstale.
“You, you guys…”
Both sides were staring at him pitifully.
He shouted out in anger.
“How dare you play with me!”
Ryu Han-bin, who was watching, scratched his cheek with embarrassment.
‘Oh, I feel sorry for you at this point…’
The besieged Einstale troops threw words in triumph.
“We were just baiting.”
“The real Einstale troops are already rescuing Queen Hollien!”
“Our leader, Horns, has five strong Aliens from Akhtarun above level 90 and level 100.”
“We have already identified the whereabouts of the Sword King, the Spiritual Boxer, and the other Templar Lords who can stop them…”
Baccal calmly concluded his words.
“The situation is already over, the Sword King.”
Ryu Han-bin, who was staring at the figure, smiled.
“You’re talking on purpose, aren’t you?”
For a moment, their complexion hardened.
“You have already secured Queen Hollien, so we don’t have to kill you, right? We can just keep you alive and ask for information.”
“Of course, you don’t have much information to dig up.”
Leon Hart shrugged.
“It was bait in the first place.”
Baccal, whose heart was hit, groaned.
“Um…”
That was right.
Although they were determined to fulfill their duties with their lives, they still wanted to live.
If not, was there a need for them to talk about such things?
If they just shut up and let Han-bin think they were victorious, the success rate would be higher.
“Uh, anyway, you guys have already failed!”
Baccal screamed in bewilderment.
“They don’t have the power to stop us!”
“There’s no power to stop…”
Holding the Gigant, Han-bin sneaked forward.
“Well, that’s not wrong.”
And he shook his head with pity.
“It certainly wasn’t there before.”
* * *
The double sword broke, and the black-haired young man flew back.
“Gosh!”
He staggered with a bowl of blood.
David, the young man, wiped his mouth in disbelief.
For nearly 20 years, he was trapped in Akhtarun and had only raised his level.
Thanks to that, he could break through the level 100 barrier and become a 102 Magic Swordsman.
He couldn’t believe he wasn’t a match against her.
But it was a natural result.
He, an alien, could see how high the level of that silver-haired girl with two swords was.
[Race: Human. Magic Swordsman lv. 115]
That girl wasn’t alone, either.
That red-haired Mage, known as a companion to the Sword King, sloppily looked down at them with flames in both hands.
He was also too high in level, unlike before.

‘No, I’m sure they were in level 90s a few months ago, right? How come they became way stronger in such a short time?’
