Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!-Chapter 300: Need to hurry!
Chapter 300: Need to hurry!
Ever since Idan revised his mindset and realized that he could easily use the abilities he possessed during the ascension trial, he no longer had difficulty facing attacks from beasts whose rank was lower than his own.
His fiery blades easily dealt with most of the beasts, not allowing them to approach, and those who succeeded were killed by his sword.
"There you are!" exclaimed Idan, chopping off the head of another beast that managed to break through his fiery blades. Finally, he noticed the bird that had attacked him earlier and knocked him down from the sky.
Is this damn bird afraid to come closer? Thought Idan, watching her behavior.
"Oh shit!" exclaimed Idan, delivering a quick blow to the beast, which suddenly broke through the fiery blades and attacked him.
"Golden rank!" Idan recognized the rank of the beast as it deftly dodged his sword.
The behavior of a gold-ranked beast was very different from that of lower-ranked beasts. Unlike the others, he did not rush at Idan in a fierce attack, but was more careful and empathetic.
"Rraaarch!" a loud roar rang out, engulfing the entire battlefield.
The bronze and silver ranked beasts trembled and retreated from Idan, turning their attention to the ordinary people and rushing towards them. The real defense of the city began, and the battlefield was once again plunged into a cacophony of gunfire and explosions.
In front of Idan, there was only a large white wolf, a gold—ranked beast.
Idan regained his fire blades, and soon they became his fire wings again.
"Hoo-hoo-hoo!" an owl giggled from the sky.
"That damn bird turns out to be Golden-ranked too. No wonder she was able to knock me down with one punch!" thought Idan, mentally cursing the bird.
"Awww!" came a howl from an unexpected direction. Idan turned around and saw four more gold-ranked white wolves.
Following that, Idan abruptly turned in the other direction and noticed that other gold-ranked beasts were approaching him.
In a matter of seconds, Idan found himself surrounded by thirteen gold-ranked beasts and one bird soaring in the sky.
Among them were five white wolves, three snow-white foxes, two huge bears, and three deer-like beasts.
All the eyes of the beasts were fixed on Idan.
"Ha ha... Maybe we can avoid fighting and just talk?" he suggested, addressing the beasts.
However, to his regret, the wolf in front of him only grinned and charged.
"Well, you chose this path yourself, don’t regret it later!" exclaimed Idan, saying these words loudly so that all the beasts could hear them. Idan rushed forward swiftly.
As he walked, he transformed his wings again, giving them the shape of just four blades. Unlike the previous ones, these four blades were connected to Idan by something resembling chains of fire.
He immediately fired them towards the wolf, but it easily dodged them. However, Idan was already prepared for this. Unlike a dozen blades, just four were much easier to manipulate. He quickly changed their trajectories, aiming to catch the wolf with fire chains.
The wolf immediately noticed this and began to look for a way out, dodging the chains.
"Heh, — Idan grinned, watching as the wolf focused his full attention on the blades.
This is exactly what Idan wanted.
"Now!" he exclaimed in his mind as another blade flew past, missing its target. The wolf instantly switched to the next blade, and Idan, using the Power of his Soul, changed the purpose of his manipulation from the blade to the chain.
Like the blade, the chain was created from fire and was closely linked to Idan, allowing him to control it with the same ease as the blades.
The wolf, who had already been distracted from the blades, howled in sharp pain as the chain wrapped around his hind leg and began to burn it.
Only then did the other beasts start moving and attacked Idan.
"It’s too late!" he exclaimed, and the three remaining blades crashed down on the immobilized wolf, pinning it to the ground.
"Minus one," Idan said, not waiting for the beasts to attack. It was the second time that day that he had used the "Flash" light element spell. He threw a ball of light just above himself into the air before it exploded with a bright light.
The bright flash blinded almost all the beasts around Idan.
Just like last time, Idan was not affected by the bright light. Manipulating all four blades with the Soul Force, he attacked four beasts, and at the same time, Idan created a large fiery spear and forcefully hurled it into the sky.
He then put all three energies into his sword and attacked the nearest three beasts.
Idan did all this in a very short time, trying to make the most of the chance he got. freeωebnovēl.c૦m
Four blades pierced through four gold-ranked beasts: two foxes, one deer, and one wolf.
In the sky, his fiery spear hit its mark, piercing through an owl-like bird. Of the three punches he delivered, two severed the heads of two large bears. However, the third blow, to Idan’s surprise, turned out to be much weaker than the previous ones and was successfully deflected by the horns of one of the deer.
"What strong horns he has!" thought Idan, although he realized that if the force of the blow had been the same as the previous two, these horns would not have been able to stop him.
The rest of the beasts, caught off guard, instantly jumped back, trying to put more distance between themselves and the enemy.
CRASH!
The beasts, hearing this sound, opened their eyes and saw that six more of them had been defeated, and next to them lay a bird that had just fallen from the sky, pierced by a fiery spear.
"Minus seven! There are still six left! Well, shall we continue?" asked Idan, keeping a straight face, although anxiety reigned inside him.
"How could I not have noticed this before?" wondered Idan. His mana was running low, which was why the third strike was weaker than the previous two.
"Need to hurry!" said Idan, discovering that the effect of the pill was beginning to weaken, and with that, he had very little time left.
With every beat of his heart, it was as if someone was pounding insistently in his head, demanding to be let inside. It was a wake-up call, warning Idan that the headache that seemed to have disappeared was coming back, insistently demanding its own.
All the beasts’ faces contorted, and they bared their fangs.
"Now you’re not much different from your smaller brothers," Idan commented, looking at their fury.
However, before the battle could continue, new forces intervened — unknown awakened ones dressed in identical combat suits with an emblem in the form of a fox’s head.
"Hehe hehe, leave the rest to us," one of the awakened ones said as she passed Idan.
Idan looked at the newcomers in surprise, and only a moment later, when he came to his senses, he looked back at the defenses of the city and was amazed to find that almost all the remaining beasts had been destroyed.
Then his attention shifted to the new fighters, and to his great surprise, they all turned out to be women. This caused his face to darken slightly.
He had not yet recovered from the battle with the three women, so for some reason he began to act extremely cautiously, looking at these unexpected reinforcements.
One of these women, who had unusual heterochrome eyes, was constantly smiling and staring at him. Noticing that Idan was looking at her, she winked at him.
Instead of answering, Idan, who felt weak, turned pale.
His nose was bleeding again, his head was throbbing, and because he had used up all his mana, he suddenly felt sick. Unable to restrain himself, he couldn’t overcome himself, and right on the spot he threw up everything that was left from a late dinner.
