Supreme Heir Son-in-law-Chapter 1050 - 1049: After the Worries
After calling Xu Ke, Tangtang and Guoguo finally felt relieved.
This auntie is so bad, she actually kidnapped the two of them, doesn’t she have children of her own? Doesn’t she realize that after kidnapping kids, their parents and grandparents would worry?
But then again, the kids thought, maybe this old auntie had her own hardships, but no matter what, she shouldn’t do something illegal!
Their feelings were very complicated, hating this auntie yet also pitying her, so they decided to stop thinking about it and just wait for Uncle Xu Ke to rescue them.
After calming down, Tangtang and Guoguo unknowingly fell asleep.
Mother Su heard the noise from the side, hurried over to check, and finally found the two kids. Looking at their adorable sleeping faces, their stomachs rising and falling as they breathed, Mother Su’s heart almost melted.
But for herself and her son, she could only kidnap these two children to threaten Mr. Huyan. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮
Mother Su gently picked up the two little ones and placed them on the bed, covering them with a blanket.
Mother Su just watched them, carefully.
Soon, the children woke up, and Tangtang looked at Mother Su with fear and suspicion in his eyes.
"Don’t come near us!"
Tangtang spread his arms to protect Guoguo on the bed and shouted loudly; as her brother, he must protect Guoguo.
Guoguo, originally still asleep, was startled awake by Tangtang’s shout, rubbing her eyes sleepily, "Brother, what’s going on."
Tangtang was annoyed and thought, how on earth could his sister actually fall asleep, given they were still in this woman’s villa and in danger until Uncle Xu Ke arrived.
He tapped his sister’s head: "You little fool, did you forget where we are?" Tangtang’s childish face forced itself into a serious look.
He apparently forgot that he himself had fallen asleep just moments ago.
"But didn’t brother also fall asleep..." Guoguo felt wronged, clearly, her brother fell asleep too, why blame her.
"Uh, this..." Tangtang felt a bit embarrassed.
"You two are really adorable, no wonder Mr. Huyan treasures you so much," Mother Su genuinely sighed, wishing she also had such cute grandchildren.
"You wicked woman, let us go immediately! Otherwise, when Uncle Xu Ke arrives, you’ll be in big trouble! If you obediently send us back now and tell uncle you found us outside, he’ll definitely let you go. But if you persist, Uncle definitely won’t forgive you!" Tangtang threatened, not believing this old auntie wouldn’t be afraid of Uncle Xu Ke. As long as Uncle Xu Ke arrived, he and his sister would be saved.
Hearing Xu Ke’s name, Mother Su felt a twinge of fear but still believed her son would come from Suzhou to save her.
"You two just stay here obediently, wait for your Uncle Xu Ke to come and save you," Mother Su turned and walked out of the room. After all, the place was filled with surveillance; they couldn’t escape.
Despite her harsh words, Mother Su actually went to make food for Tangtang and Guoguo, afraid they’d be hungry.
Tangtang and Guoguo, seeing Mother Su leave, both breathed a sigh of relief.
"Once Uncle Xu Ke comes, we’ll be saved," Tangtang reassured Guoguo.
Looking at his sister’s pale face and white lips, Tangtang felt very regretful. If he hadn’t taken her out recklessly, they wouldn’t have been in this situation. It’s all my fault, Tangtang thought, feeling extremely guilty.
Meanwhile, Xu Ke indeed received the distress call from Tangtang and Guoguo, but the two of them were unclear over the phone, only saying they were taken to a villa by an auntie and unable to specify the address. Xu Ke could only comfort the two of them.
They mentioned that the auntie wouldn’t harm them for the time being.
Only then did Xu Ke feel somewhat at ease.
After hanging up, Xu Ke immediately called the telecom company’s boss, asking them to quickly track the call location of Tangtang and Guoguo. After getting the address, he prepared to personally pick them up to prevent any accidents.
As Xu Ke was leaving the company, he ran into his old friend Ouyang Heng. He told Ouyang Heng that he was in a hurry and couldn’t stay, but Ouyang Heng took him to a café instead.
"I really don’t have time to play with you. Mr. Huyan’s two grandsons are missing; I just found their whereabouts. Please don’t bother me," Xu Ke said gravely, not in the mood for coffee with Ouyang Heng.
"Of course, I know, but your men can naturally rescue them. Why are you in a hurry? Just come and have a cup of coffee with me." Ouyang Heng waved over a waiter, looking as relaxed as ever.
"Spit it out already, if you have something to say," Xu Ke realized he couldn’t leave just yet and let Ouyang Heng speak.
"You’ll be very happy when you hear this news," Ouyang Heng smiled, "not just happy, but you’ll thank me for not having wasted your time." Ouyang Heng teased.
"What is it exactly?" Xu Ke really wanted to hit Ouyang Heng at this point; is this really the time for riddles?
However, since Ouyang Heng had brought him to the café, he must have some useful information to offer. Xu Ke decided to just go along and listen to his chatter.
"Su Family," Ouyang Heng simply said.
"Su Family?" Xu Ke recalled that Tangtang and Guoguo had mentioned the aunt who took them seemed to have the surname Su. Could it be that their disappearance was related to the Su Family he was thinking of?
"Yes, the Su Family might be going bankrupt," Ouyang Heng finally blurted out.
"Really? Where did you get this information, is it reliable?" Xu Ke remained skeptical, after all, Ouyang Heng was often unreliable.
"You know my information channels," in this circle of the wealthy, there wasn’t much that escaped Ouyang Heng.
"So you’re suggesting..." Xu Ke started to understand Ouyang Heng’s implication.
"Yes, the ones who kidnapped Tangtang and Guoguo are definitely from the Su Family. The Su Family only has two people, one is Su Li, and the other is Su Li’s mother. Su Li is too busy to handle everything; it couldn’t be him. So it must be his only remaining family, his mother." Ouyang Heng stated earnestly.
"Right, Tangtang and Guoguo did say the person who took them had the surname Su." Indeed, this matter was related to the Su Family, but he still couldn’t believe Mother Su had the nerve to kidnap Mr. Huyan’s precious ones.
"I found out that Mother Su is an uneducated rural woman who raised Su Li amidst hardship. She still thinks Su Li is very influential. Now that she knows he’s in trouble, of course, she wants to help. But what can an uneducated rural woman do other than resort to kidnapping? And typically, rural folks are quite simple and unlikely to harm the kids," Ouyang Heng analyzed.
"I see." Xu Ke felt relieved now.
