"Agreed!"

At the man’s words, everyone present immediately agreed.

Just moments ago, they had appeared to be joining forces. In reality, they were all well aware that each harbored their own schemes. Now, facing such a situation, they didn’t dare show any contempt. They all heightened their alertness, their nerves tensing.

Faced with this sudden turn of events, they grew serious and put aside their petty calculations. They simultaneously circulated the Battle qi within their bodies.

Instantly, their auras spiked. Several powerful torrents of energy collided fiercely, causing the very space to distort. The pebbles on the ground, unable to withstand the oppressive force, shattered on the spot. A dense network of cracks spread out like a spiderweb.

Their gazes were fixed on Long Xin, their bodies exuding a chilling aura.

"Kill!" one of the men roared, and the group sprang into action. They disappeared in a flash, turning into afterimages as they attacked Long Xin in unison.

Confronting their onslaught, Long Xin let out a cold snort. She waved her palm, unleashing a terrifying force that swept toward them. These men didn’t face her head-on, instead using their movement techniques to skillfully and rapidly dodge her attack. In the blink of an eye, they were already in front of her.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

They launched their attacks at Long Xin together. Standing in the center, Long Xin was like a moving target, at risk of being hit at any moment. She swiftly dodged their barrage. These people were all unleashing their true strength, and even with her greatly increased cultivation, Long Xin found it much more difficult to suppress them.

"Die!"

The men began forming seals with their hands. Each conjured a Formation that materialized before them, hovering and spinning rapidly. Together, they unleashed a powerful, converged strike at Long Xin!

Upon seeing this, a grave expression crossed Long Xin’s beautiful face. She, too, rapidly circulated the Battle qi in her body and began to summon a barrier.

Just as she was about to act, a fierce shout suddenly came from nearby. "You dare lay a hand on her? You’re courting death!"

As the voice fell, a tremendous oppressive force instantly blanketed the area.

With a deafening crack, Long Chen obliterated all of their attacks!

The men felt their bodies grow heavy, as if crushed by Mount Tai, and they were immediately overcome with discomfort. At the same time, they sensed an extremely intense killing intent that made them shudder to their core.

Only Long Xin, upon hearing this familiar voice, broke into a smile. She knew very well that Long Chen had arrived.

Sure enough.

She looked in the direction the voice had come from and saw a figure flashing through the air. In just the blink of an eye, Long Chen was by her side.

The moment she saw Long Chen, Long Xin broke into a smile. "Big Brother, you’re here!"

"Mhm," Long Chen nodded slightly.

"Kid, this is none of your business!" one of them shouted.

"You’d best not get involved, or you’ll die a miserable death!" another added.

"That’s right! Get lost!"

Seeing Long Chen, the men roared at him, their faces contorted with anger. Long Chen ignored their furious accusations, paying them no mind. He slowly lifted his head, a cold gaze sweeping over them.

With just one glance, a violent shiver ran through their hearts. They felt as if they were facing a demon from Hell itself. An uncontrollable chill spread up their spines.

"You dared to gang up on Xin’er," Long Chen spoke coldly, his entire being emanating a grim aura. "I will make you pay a painful price for your actions."

Hearing his words, the men were initially surprised but quickly recovered, letting out disdainful sneers.

"You think you alone can fight so many of us?"

"That’s ridiculous!"

"You two are quite a pair, one talking tougher than the other..."

Before they could finish, a terrifying aura erupted from Long Chen. All at once, the space around them began to twist and warp. The men suddenly felt their bodies grow heavy again. It was as if Mount Tai itself was pressing down, causing their feet to sink into the ground as cracks spiderwebbed out around them.

"How can this aura be so powerful?!"

"This is unreal!"

"How is this possible?"

Feeling the sheer pressure from Long Chen, their faces filled with shock. But they quickly recovered from their astonishment and hastily circulated their Battle qi to resist the oppressive force.

"I refuse to believe it!" one man snarled. "There’s no way we can’t handle this wretched couple with so many of us working together!"

As he spoke, the man, fueled by rage, drew his sharp sword and shot straight toward Long Chen!

Seeing this, Long Chen’s eyes narrowed as he threw a punch. The fist shadow howled, its power astonishing. When it collided with the sharp sword, the impact created a deafening noise. The sword visibly twisted before snapping in two. The terrifyingly powerful fist shadow continued onward, its momentum unchecked, and struck the man squarely.

"Ah—!"

The man screamed as he was sent flying backward, crashing heavily onto the ground.

Seeing this, the others furrowed their brows deeply. They were keenly aware that the man who had just attacked was at the War Sect Realm Eighth Layer. Yet, against Long Chen, he was utterly powerless.
