Supreme Dragon Lord-Chapter 336: Bursting Forth from the Belly!
Long Chen’s expression darkened.
Confronted by the giant snake’s gaping maw, Long Chen quickly rolled aside, dodging its attempt to devour him just in time.
BANG!
The giant snake’s tongue slammed into the ground with a tremendous crash. It smashed a deep pit into the hard earth, sending a dense web of cracks spreading outwards.
Long Chen’s brows furrowed as he witnessed the massive destruction the beast had caused. He had only just regained consciousness, and his severe internal injuries were far from healed. Fighting this giant snake would be an incredibly foolish decision.
Worse, I could very well become its next meal.
With this in mind, Long Chen retreated without hesitation, trying to get away from the beast. But the giant snake had no intention of letting him go. Its massive tail whipped around, sweeping directly toward him.
Long Chen’s expression changed drastically. The snake’s attack range was simply too wide. In his current state, dodging the attack was impossible. Left with no other choice, he hastily pulled the Blackwind Sword from his spatial ring and brought it up to block.
BANG!
A muffled impact resounded. Struck by the immense force, Long Chen was sent flying like a kite with its string cut, crashing heavily to the ground.
SPURT!
His face turned ashen as his insides churned violently, and he couldn’t stop himself from spitting out a mouthful of blood. The intense pain was almost unbearable.
Before he could even recover, the giant snake swung its tail again, bringing it smashing down on him from above.
Long Chen’s heart tightened. From their brief exchange, he already knew how terrifyingly powerful the snake was. If that attack lands, I’ll definitely die!
Enduring the excruciating pain, he slammed a palm against the ground to launch himself into the air. He once again swung the Blackwind Sword, thrusting it directly at the oncoming tail.
DING!
The Blackwind Sword struck the giant snake’s scales, sending a shower of sparks into the air.
Faced with this tremendous force, Long Chen struggled to hold his ground. His knees buckled, and the veins on his forehead bulged. The ground beneath his feet fractured, with cracks spreading out in all directions.
BOOM!
The giant snake pressed down, and a crushing wave of power bore down on Long Chen. He couldn’t hold on any longer. With a thud, he was forced down onto one knee.
SPURT!
His insides churned violently once more, and he coughed up another mouthful of blood.
Just as Long Chen was struggling to hold on, the snake’s tail was suddenly whipped away. Before he could even catch his breath, the giant snake opened its gaping maw again and lunged straight for him.
It all happened too fast. Before Long Chen could even react, the giant snake’s head slammed into him. He was sent flying, the Blackwind Sword knocked from his grasp. The giant snake then opened its maw again and swallowed him whole, seemingly quite satisfied with the outcome.
Inside the snake’s belly, Long Chen was covered in sticky mucus and assailed by a pungent, fishy stench. The beast was trying to digest him.
"Think you can eat me?" Long Chen snorted coldly. "It won’t be that easy!"
As the words left his lips, a longsword appeared in his hands. It was none other than the Green Flame Sword, a gift from Tuoba Jiao. He gripped the Green Flame Sword tightly and swung it directly into the serpent’s innards.
The serpent, which had been basking in satisfaction, was suddenly wracked by intense internal pain and began to thrash violently. Its massive tail swept around, sending large trees and boulders flying. Still in immense pain, the giant snake rolled on the ground, letting out a piercing shriek.
RIIIP! RIIIP! RIIIP!
Feeling the violent upheaval, Long Chen let out a cold laugh. He didn’t stop, continuing to swing the Green Flame Sword and hack at the serpent’s flesh. His powerful attacks finally pierced through the creature’s tough hide from the inside.
Blood splattered everywhere. Soon, Long Chen was drenched in it. The thick, pungent smell of blood filled the serpent’s abdomen, a nauseating stench.
Seeing he had opened a gash, he didn’t dare to relax. He put more force into his swings, violently widening the wound. From within, Long Chen proceeded to disembowel the great beast.
The serpent continued to roll about fiercely, but its struggles gradually subsided. Finally, its breathing slowed to a stop, and it lay motionless on the ground.
Yet Long Chen had no intention of stopping. He continued to swing the Green Flame Sword inside the beast’s body until its innards were almost completely shredded. A massive amount of blood flowed out from the serpent, soaking the earth around it.
A moment later, the serpent’s eyes were fully closed, its body utterly devoid of life. It could never have imagined that swallowing Long Chen would lead to its own demise.
Long Chen sliced open the serpent’s abdomen and stepped out, covered from head to toe in blood. A cold aura emanated from him. With an indifferent expression, he held a Snake Gallbladder in his hand.
Seeing that the giant snake was truly dead, Long Chen finally let out a sigh of relief and collapsed, gasping for breath. He couldn’t help but feel a surge of emotion.
Another brush with death! It really hasn’t been easy getting this far. I had barely survived one disaster and hadn’t even recovered when this happened. Thankfully, it’s over now. Still, I have to find a way to lighten these burdens... Chu Lingjun’s whereabouts... the blood feud with Guiyuan Academy... and rescuing Father!
Thinking of his father, an image of Long Dou surfaced in his mind.
I wonder how he’s doing... And then there’s the Warlord Realm! That man said I have three months to raise my Cultivation to the Warlord Realm. Only then will I have a chance to meet the requirements and save him.
Despite the immense weight on his shoulders, these thoughts filled Long Chen’s eyes with unshakable determination.
He swore inwardly, No matter what happens, I will give it my all. One day, I will stand at the very peak of combat power! I will repay every last bit of the humiliation and pursuit I’ve suffered!
