After leaving the town, Erix and Rin first sorted their loot and activated their class awakening since they had reached Supra-order.

As they leisurely flew towards the forest while standing on a sleek black metal board, Rin chose the option to get her previous class back.

Although it was unfortunate that her Blade Eater had been reset with no bladed weapons digested in it.

On the other hand, Erix's class was not available to him because there was not an abundance amount of zombies in the Abyss.

Instead, he had his previous class options, an alternative to Zombie Lord called Undead Sorcerer, and…a crazy class option with tough conditions attached.

[Death Reaper (X-grade) ]—For you have reaped death while living.

-Conditions:

—> Reach level 101.

—> Kill a Royal-order enemy while being at Noble-order.

—> Kill living beings. [0/10,000]

Naturally, this class had long conditions to unlock, so Erix had yet to make any choice and decided to wait for a few days before choosing.

Because having a class and not having it made a huge difference, It was already apparent when they fought with Redrock Goats.

These goat monsters roamed in the east periphery of the forest, so Erix and Rin encountered them first.

With her Blade Eater, Blade Tune, and access to Blade energy, Rin's combat power was significantly boosted, far above Erix.

After killing eighteen goats together and reaching level 56, the duo continued after harvesting their beast cores, and encountered a pack of Sanguine Cape Wolves, all around level 70.

"Erix, we'll have lots of Abyss Coins after finishing these tasks, so let's buy some weapons," Rin said as she looked at her Blade Eater in the form of her Black Jade Spear after pulling it out of a wolf she just killed.

"Alright, this one is digested," Rin said before a sheen exuded from the spear as she swept it upward and pierced it into the wolf that pounced towards her from behind.

"I took classes for Magic smithing but couldn't awaken its Griomoire at the end," Erix wryly smiled. Dodging the claw projectile, he made a clean sweep with his horizontal punch after a short dash and blasted its brains.

"If I had, I could make some good weapons with the advantage of metal affinity."

*Swoosh!*

Rin also finished off the wolf that pounced on her by using a Blade Energy blast released from the tip of her spear that was stabbed into the wolf's body.

*Boom!*

All seven wolves died.

"It doesn't sense that you didn't awaken Magic Smith grimoire despite having Metal affinity," Rin chuckled.

Erix helplessly smiled.

"I guess I'll just have to wait until I get my hands on a magic smith grimoire. Some people got various ones back on Earth, so I am sure we can find it in Abyss."

As the duo continued deeper for their next task after harvesting cores of wolves, and hunted more monsters, they finally started feeling something strange.

Both of them arrived on top of a mountain after going twenty kilometers deep in the forest that stretched for over a hundred kilometers.

"What is it that's observing us?" Rin frowned as she looked around after arriving at the mountain peak.

Erix was also looking around with narrowed eyes, his perception being sharper in cases where he could enhance it with his focus because of having Aura Gear in the past.

Although the skill was completely gone, it had once enabled his body and mind into a new realm of perception.

On the other hand, Lilith was slightly surprised that they managed to sense her pair of ethereal demon eyes.

"You won't be able to find it even if you can sense its gaze following you," Lilith chuckled, a hint of a sadistic smile lingering on her face.

"Feel the gaze, and also feel the helplessness of being unable to find it."

As such, Rin and Erix's journey transformed from something like jolly power-up farming monsters to a miserable one where they were forced to remain extra cautious and disturbed because of a damn gaze following them everywhere.

They could sense it clearer than ever every passing second but were unable to pinpoint its location or even its general area.

After three hours, they finished their tasks and reached level 62, but as they looked at each other, both were unnerved.

"Fuck," Rin cursed under her breath.

"Let's return. We are done for today," Erix said as he saw the dusk of two suns, one orange and one bright purple.

6:00 PM. It was going to get dark soon.

Although they flew back on Erix's metal board, it still took them an hour since the forest had no lack of flying monsters.

The general public of hunters was more friendly than hostile because of the 10-level difference rule. Naturally, poison in the heart still existed, so being cautious was the first cure to a safe life in the Abyss.

Inside Blue Leaf Inn's room, Rin and Erix sat before each other, fully cautious and tightened nerves.

They were trying their best to find the eyes that were observing them, but to no avail, and it was making them mad.

Imagine if you felt a gaze linger on you for hours upon hours, a clear sense of a pair of eyes watching you, but… You have no way of escaping it or finding it.

It's already 8:00 p.m., and the duo hadn't gone anywhere after submitting missions and getting Abyss Coins.

"Fuck it," Rin cursed under her breath and stood up. "Let's go out and do what we have to do. Forget about this gaze."

Erix clenched his fist, his eyes slightly trembling as he muttered, "I am close to finding it, but you are right. Let's go out for a while and buy some necessary things. I also need a break since I've been focusing too much."

Rin couldn't help but sigh. 'What kind of curse is following us?'

They needed some emergency supplies like Healing potions, Mana recovery potions, and sealed food like meatballs to store in their Hunter card storage.

The supplies cost them 60k Abyss coins as they bought two Healing potions, three mana recovery potions, and other things like food packs.

Afterward, the duo entered a big shop trading in all sorts of combat equipment.

Red Sea Gear Emporio.

The hall was big and littered with wall-type shelves that had various weapons and armor sets stuck to them.

Shortly after Erix and Rin entered, a human lady approached them with a smile.

"Welcome, dear customers. I am available to assist you if you have any queries or questions."

Rin went straight to the point as she said, "Show me all types of swords that cost a hundred thousand Abyss Coins or less."

"A hundred fifty thousand," Erix followed up before he turned to Rin and answered her questioning gaze, "I don't want to buy anything, so get a good weapon to feed your Blade Eater."

"Alright."

Seeing their exchange finishing, the staff lady smiled and said, "Please follow me."

The lady took them to a corner section in the hall where two shelves of swords containing twenty Tier-1 swords of various types were situated.

Long sword, heavy sword, short sword, katana-type sword, one-edged straight sword, saber, rapier, cutlass, and even a strange giant black-bladed sword with no additional hilt crafting like the Butcher's sword Rin previously had.

"All of these swords cost 150k Abyss coins. Price is non-negotiable."

"I'll inspect them before deciding," Rin said as she looked at the first sword.

"Take your time," the staff lady politely smiled.

When Erix and Rin went out, Lilith had decided to meet them, and since they entered Red Sea Gear Emporio, she easily managed to arrange the stage.

After all, Red Sea Gear Emporio belonged to her!

After arriving at the Red Sea Gear Emporio in her carriage, she flew up on a dark red cloudy rose while her white-cyan hair shone faint silver under the moonlight and lights of the town.

Her appearance started a few murmurs, but she only bothered with people if necessary. So, she flew directly onto the fourth floor of the shop and entered her empty office.

After leaning back on the comfortable chair, she took out a small communication card and called the manager.

Within a minute, a blond-haired busty elf wearing a white-green dress arrived in the office.

"Go to the ground floor and look for a black-haired couple who are looking at the Tier-1 swords at the corner," Lilith said with a small devilish smile. "Tell them to follow you if they want to remove the gaze and bring them here."

Rin and Erix looked at the elf lady as their expression turned severe.

"Stop, I have nothing to do with this; I am just following orders, " the elf lady raised her hand with a wry smile, the force of hands moving made giant boobs slightly jiggle, causing Erix to automatically look there due to instincts while Rin internally clicked her tongue. 'What kind of milkers they are?'

Both of them broke their somber state, though they also knew what the elf lady said was right.

Erix and Rin looked at each other and nodded, silently agreeing to follow the elf lady.

"Go, we are following you," Rin said.

They were safe with a 10-level difference, and attacking inside the town was not allowed in the first place, a rule set by Dark Queen Lilith herself.

They entered a magic elevator on the ground floor and quickly arrived on the top floor.

Following the big elf lady, they went past a door and saw an otherwordly beauty leaning on a chair wearing a black dress embroidered with a tiny silver design.

Her cleavage was exposed, and it became even more prominent as she leaned forward and rested her beasts on the table while her chin was on her hand.

"You may leave, Milky."

"As you wish," the elf lady bowed while smiling and left.

Rin and Erix looked at the woman of otherworldly nature, feeling slight pressure due to her strength and aura.

"How about we start with an introduction?" Lilith smiled, her allure increasing each second. "I am Lilith Ravensfall.
