Facing a level 54 Dark Emerald Lion, Erix glanced at Rin for a signal before he rushed forward, his fists wrapped in a pair of metal gauntlets he created by spending mana.

The Dark Emerald Lion swept its glowing claws, but Erix quickly dodged them in a fluid and perfectly timed slide aided by controlling the metal plates below his feet before Erix landed an uppercut as the Lion shot upward.

While it was in the air, Rin waved her spear in a graceful arc and released a condensed lightning blade, shining and sleek, crackling with lightning.

Thunderous Blade Strike!

The blade hit the Lion's neck near where Erix punched. The beast's tough emerald scales managed to resist the Thunderous Blade Strike for half a second before the already cracked scales broke, and the blade proceeded to remove the beast's head from its body.

"We are already at the periphery of the forest," Rin said as she checked the map in her mind. "Lopart town is just five kilometers away now. Great!"

"You'll be able to rest soon," Erix smilingly nodded as he approached the dead body of the beast and dug out its beast core before putting it in his Hunter card's storage.

In the Abyss, the dead bodies wouldn't disappear into motes and wouldn't drop anything. But the monsters above level 50 still had a beast core, and one could dig it out to absorb its power to increase one's magic power and mana.

The same phenomenon would be happening on Earth after the end of Main Quest in Aestian's Realm. So, people would be able make use of monsters' body parts in various ways like Alchemy, Magic Smithing, Cooking, and such.

"Finally, we are here," Rin said, her expression slightly weary and her eyes showing exhaustion as she looked at the gates of Lopart Town, fifty meters away.

"Let's get a room and rest before anything else," Erix said.

They took 14 hours to travel here while periodically hunting higher-level monsters to level up, so they were physically and mentally fatigued.

After asking the guards about the good Inn's location, the duo directly moved towards it to rest.

While moving, they could hear people talking as the town was also abundant with people of various races.

"Rin, how about we make our base here? This town is near the Inner domain, so the areas around here have higher-level monsters, and this town is also very big and resourceful," Erix said as he looked around.

"I was thinking the same thing," Rin nodded, her tired eyes filled with curiosity as she glanced at various stalls, shops, big buildings, and lots of people, especially humans and dwarves.

On their way to the Blue Leaf Inn, Erix and Rin repeatedly heard one name.

Dark Queen Lillith. A Noble-Order powerhouse, which meant that she was anywhere between level 101 to 200.

"Who is this Dark Queen?" Rin muttered.

"From the talks, she sounded like the boss of this town," Erix wryly smiled.

They arrived at the reception desk, and the receptionist told them that the price for one room for one day was 2000 Abyss coins.

Both of them had gotten barely 2.6k Abyss Coins! Moreover, they had learned that the Abyss Coins they received from killing monsters would adjust according to their and the monster's levels.

But they had no choice but to pay 2000 as they didn't want to linger in their dirty clothes and appalled condition any longer.

"Let's just have a quick bath and sleep," Rin tiredly sighed.

However, when they arrived at the room and opened it, Rin's tiredness increased even more as she walked towards the bed.

"Erix, I want to sleep…"

"Stop," Erix wrapped his arms around her waist and stopped her from lying on the bed.

"I don't have the energy to bathe," Rin pouted with droopy eyes. She was getting too sleepy!

"I know, but you can't sleep without bathing," Erix helplessly smiled and removed her dress. "Alright, you can just sleep. I'll clean you up and put you to bed."

"Yey~" Rin tiredly cheered before closing her eyes and leaning forward. "Then good night, honey."

Erix lovingly smiled and patted her head. After removing her clothes, he carried her in his arms and entered the bathroom.

'Nice, it's big,' Erix nodded as he was glad the bathroom was big and there was a bathtub.

A huge black-gold mansion with colorful decorations stood out among all other buildings in the town due to the materials used to build it and its demonic yet aesthetic design.

It was the mansion of Dark Queen Lillith, the leader of the Dark Queen guild who had connections in the Inner Domain and Core Domain and originally came from Core Domain for two simple reasons.

The first reason is that this was one of the nearest towns to the Inner Domain, and its size was also huge. It bustled with population due to the Blood Stone Forest and Star-Rain Mountain Range, both of which contained valuable resources like Blood Stone Ore Veins, a Tier-2 material, and many other Tier-2 and Tier-1 resources.

Of course, the Dark Queen guild monopolized and controlled most of those resources.

Inside the mansion, Dark Queen Lilith was having a bath in her bathtub while three women, one elf, one human, and one succubus, served and cleaned her.
