Fraet Island!

All activity on the island seemed normal at first glance. However, in the depths of its underground mine, was a cocoon that had formed.

Attached in the walls of the flight of stairs descending into the mine were torches. They looked like torches, but instead of maintaining a fire, they released light through bioluminance.

They served their purpose, but in reality, were Nirclicks. As each Torch released a faint light, more of them were needed to properly light up the place. Hence, on the wall adjacent to every step was a torch. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

They were all releasing pollen nonstop. The Free Humans living on the island, were for some reason, constantly shuttling up and down the flight of stairs. As they moved up the stairs, the Nirclicks sent pollen into their bodies.

Upon reaching the surface, the Free Humans gorged on food and lazily crawled back. The lower the stairs they went, the quicker their pace became, for the fat deposits on their body was reducing at a rapid pace.

All the Nirclicks consumed more pollen than what they had placed within the Free Human bodies. Any excess pollen they had in their bodies was absorbed by the Narlakk standing at the bottom of the flight of stairs.

By releasing some of its pollen into the Free Human, its pollen will consume the pollen released by the Nirclicks and multiply. Following that, the Narlakk will extract as much pollen as possible before sending the Free Human to the surface to run another errand of food consumption.

The Narlakk had released enough pollen in the mine that the tunnels appeared dusty. That was all pollen.

Situated at the bottommost section of the mine was a crystalline pillar created by an Ewworm. And trapped in the centre of the pillar, with only the nostrils exposed outside, was a Mystic Human.

He was aged nineteen, and had newly become a Mystic Human. He had yet to obtain his Pranic Beast bodies. The pollen was constantly invading his lungs through the nostrils and mixed into his bloodstream.

Perched on the crystal pillar was the peacock, steadily maintaining a pillar of light. This pillar of light invaded the Mystic Human’s body and seemed to be changing him at the genetic level.

The invading pollen only seemed to assist with the process, ensuring the Mystic Human could endure the procedure and emerge victorious–for the peacock’s purpose.

Typically, upon reaching the Quasi-Body Stage, a Mystic Human will have 100 units of Gold Grade Prana, without any changes to their lifespan, yet.

Primary Nature–Astral Weaponiser!

It allowed a Mystic Human to consume a Pranic Beast–specifically its heart, which contains the Spirit Container–and store its body in the remaining Nature slots.

Typically, a Mystic Human would consume a Spirit Eater and Gold Ewworm, both of whom were Gold Grade Pranic Beasts. Once this process is done, the Mystic Human’s Prana capacity will become the summation of the Prana capacity of the two Pranic Beasts he had consumed.

His lifespan too will be a summation of the lifespan of the two Pranic Beasts.

Secondary Body–Gold Ewworm!

Tertiary Body–Spirit Eater!

This would have been a Mystic Human’s build typically, with their Secondary and Tertiary Nature slots being converted into slots to store their Pranic Beast bodies. Once obtained, these bodies are permanent.

A Mystic Human isn’t able to use the Natures of the two Pranic Beasts. However, he could transform into them and take advantage of all of their physical characteristics. Hence, Mystic Humans typically chose a Spirit Eater and Gold Ewworm, both of which have powerful physical characteristics.

The Pranic Beasts with the strongest physical characteristics were obviously the Deity Races. Unfortunately for the Mystic Humans, trying to obtain a Deity’s body would incur the wrath of the respective Clans.

Once a Free Human succeeds in becoming a Mystic Human, they will quickly be escorted to the Mystic Human Council before their timeline of a year runs out. The Mystic Human Council will select and grant the Pranic Beasts the Mystic Human has to consume.

"It’s a pity there isn’t someone with genius level talent." The peacock muttered as it observed the Mystic Human under it, "He only has a day left in him."

"Had he become a Mystic Human at an earlier date, I would have charged him up to become stronger than he would currently become." It complained for a moment, "Let’s see if the others have better luck."

"Since we only have seven now, we have to make them count." It uttered. The eighth one was Bitala, who was killed. The eighth peacock prioritised relaying the information it had obtained to the rest of the peacocks in the Dralh Sea.

That was why it destroyed itself, for that was how it could relay the information it had gathered.

As the peacock watched, a vortex of pollen invaded the Mystic Human, whose body shivered to the extent the crystal pillar binding him suffered multiple cracks. It released a blinding pillar of light and then chucked.

"Good, it’s done." As the Mystic Human collapsed, it laughed in irony, "The race created to resist external influences, has now lost its means of resistance."

The cultivation technique got corrupted and lost its function. But that wasn’t all. The Mystic Human, instead of resisting everything, now began to radiate influence within his Spirit Weapon range, like an infection, trying to make more like him.

Enough genetic changes occurred in the Mystic Human internally, affecting the body, mind, and soul aspects of his Prana to the extent the change became visible in his Nature.

Primary Nature–Astral Influencer!

Astral Influence had a similar function to Astral Weaponiser in the aspect of consuming Pranic Beasts and filling the Secondary and Tertiary Nature slots with their bodies. The only difference was the removal of resistance to the addition of influence generation.

"He’s ready." The peacock announced and smiled at the two existences that had arrived in response.

The first one looked like a centipede, with a corrosive substance dripping out of its legs. It spanned a whopping 80 metres in length and had the girth of its body at eight metres. Its head reached a size of 10 metres.

Trailing behind it was a creature that moved like a snail, with its entire body made out of chitin. The gelatinous substance within it made squelching sounds. And as the creature moved, a formless suppressive force radiated out, designed specifically to target the power of psychokinesis.

Both of them were Narlakks, having exclusively trained to obtain physical characteristics of the most-complete Pranic Beast on Sumatra, and taken to the extreme.

And under the peacock’s watch, they fed themselves to the Mystic Human, specifically their cores containing a Spirit Container.

Hearing the crunching sounds of feeding stop after a few hours, the peacock announced, "With it, the first of your kind, created specifically to destroy the Mystic Human Race, is now complete."

"Sumatra, I now announce the first step to your doom," With that, it fused into the human and elevated his strength to the peak, "Behold,"
