Chapter 929: Chapter 929 : Showered Love

*Bianca*

Most of my day had been spent by Taylor’s side. After we had breakfast, Taylor suggested we go for a walk around the compound. I had to admit, it was nice getting out and going for a walk. The breeze was a bit on the cooler side and it felt nice on my face.

We spoke more of our memories as kids and it felt good to laugh. It felt good to feel light, again. For a while, there were no thoughts clouding my brain of the mafia, Michael, or my pregnancy. It was almost as if I were living a normal life again.

Except that I wasn’t living a normal life. I was the girlfriend of a man who was a leader in the mafia. I was a woman who was pregnant and hiding it from her boyfriend. I wasn’t just a college student anymore. I was going to be a mother and I was struggling to accept that.

Maybe, especially after today, I had begun to struggle with the fact that my life would never be normal again.

I wasn’t going to be just Bianca, anymore. Having this baby meant that I’d be losing my identity and replacing it with a new one. I wasn’t sure I was ready for that. It wasn’t that I couldn’t see myself being a mother, it was that I wasn’t sure that I was ready to become one right now. I wasn’t ready to give up my sense of youth. I was still in college, after all.

After my walk with Taylor, we had headed inside and collapsed on the couch. Taylor flipped through the television channels until he landed on a fictional show based around the mafia. He laughed and said that maybe we could take notes. I rolled my eyes playfully and threw a pillow at him.

I checked my cell phone several times throughout the day, waiting for Leo to text me. By the time Taylor and I had lunch, my inbox was still empty.

I debated whether I should text him or not, but eventually decided he probably wouldn’t text me back, anyway. He’d blame his silence on Michael, as usual.

Taylor and I busied ourselves until the sun went down. He was now calling himself my official bodyguard. Which I thought was rather amusing. I’d playfully shove him anytime he’d position himself in a saluting manner and say, “Bianca’s official bodyguard reporting for duty, ma’am!”

Taylor and I had decided to order takeout for dinner. I was pretty sure the maids were getting annoyed with our playfulness and retreated to cleaning the west wing of the estate.

It only took the delivery driver ringing the doorbell once before Taylor shot up and sprinted towards the front door. While he took care of that, I headed out into the kitchen to grab three plates.

We had decided we’d become addicted to this show and needed to keep watching it while we ate our dinner.

When I arrived back into the living room, Taylor had already spread out all the takeout containers on the coffee table. It looked like we ordered food for a family of ten. I handed Taylor a plate and placed mine down on the short wooden table. As for the other plate, I set it to the side.

“Is that plate for Leo?” Taylor asked, eyeing the lonely third plate.

I nodded my head wordlessly. Taylor gave me a sympathetic smile and changed the subject quickly.

“This show truly is addicting,” he said, pointing to the tv.

“It really is,” I agreed, chuckling.

As I loaded up my plate with food, Taylor kept adding more on top of what I already placed down. I definitely was not going to be able to eat all this food. However, it did smell amazing. So, there was a chance I could fall into a food coma later.

My plate was about half empty when I heard the front door slam shut. The sound made me jump slightly out of my skin and my head turned towards Taylor.

“It’s probably just Leo,” he said as he paused his chewing with his fork in the air.

Sure enough, a few moments later, I spot Leo walking slowly past the living room. He made eye contact with me, but didn’t say a word. Then, he was out of sight.

I sighed, dropping my own fork down on my plate.

“I’ll be right back,” I told Taylor as I quickly got to my feet.

I was determined to get Leo to talk to me. When I reached the hallway, he was nowhere in sight. I figured he had probably gone up to our bedroom to get a shower.

The bedroom door was closed, so I knocked gently.

No answer.

I took a chance and opened the door. However, I didn’t see him inside either. Then, I noticed the bathroom door was closed, but had light filtering in from the small crack between the floor and the door.

Again, I knocked on the door and waited for him to answer. I could hear the shower running, so it was possible he couldn’t hear me knocking. I inhaled a couple times and worked up the courage to open the bathroom door.

A wall of steam hit me in the face as I walked in. Without thinking, I took off my clothes and let them lie in a pile on the floor next to Leo’s. I walked over to the shower and carefully slid the glass door open.

Leo’s eyes immediately opened and appeared startled upon seeing me. Then, his facial features softened and leaned down to kiss my forehead. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

“Are you mad at me?” I asked, quietly.

Leo sighed as water rained down on him, lightly splashing on my face.

“I’m not mad. I’m just tired,” he spoke, truly sounding tired.

I nodded my head. “I’m sorry I shut you out last night. I just needed time to think.”

“I understand,” he replied, easily.

“It’s just that,” I paused, trying to think of how to express myself to him in a way that he could understand. “There are so many thoughts flooding my mind. So many voices and opinions that are not my own. And I know you all mean well, but sometimes I need space and quiet so that I can hear my own voice and my own opinions.”

Leo stared at me for a long while before replying.

“I get what that’s like,” he said, looking almost apologetic. “But you have to know I’m doing everything I can to protect you.”

“I know,” I spoke quickly. “But it doesn’t stop me from feeling scared. After everything with Elijah, and now with what just happened with Liam, I feel like I can’t leave the house without danger lurking around every single corner. And I don’t want to feel like that. And I certainly don’t want to be trapped inside this house.”

Leo nodded his head, looking as if he felt defeated.

I quickly wrapped him in my arms. “All that being said, I do love you, Leo. You know that.”

He wrapped his arms around my naked body and held me tightly. “I know. I love you, too Bianca.”

Leo gently placed his fingers underneath my chin and lifted my lips to his. It was a soft and meaningful kiss. I melted into him, easily.

When he pulled away to look in my eyes, I spoke. “I do think we need to talk about everything, but right now, I just want you to love me.”

Leo understood and pulled me closer to him. He leaned down and began kissing my neck. My fingers slid through his soaking wet hair and gripped the slick strands as I began to let myself get lost in the moment, entirely.

It was easy to release all the fear and stress that resided inside me as Leo’s lips pressed against every inch of my skin. We hadn’t been this close in so long, and I had to admit, I missed it.

He brought his lips back to mine and placed his hands on my hips. In a swift movement, he lifted me up. I wrapped my legs around him as he gently placed my back against the steamy marble wall of the shower.

Slowly and without warning, I felt him slide inside of me. My entire body sighed and gasped at the same time. My arms wrapped around his neck and I brought his face to mine. I kissed his forehead and the tip of his nose before crushing my lips against his.

Leo’s pace eventually grew quicker. My nails raked down the wet skin of his back. Moan after moan escaped me and I couldn’t help but lose all control.

I had forgotten entirely that we had a guest right down stairs, left to finish eating dinner alone in front of the television. The only thing on my mind, the only person on my mind in that moment, was Leo. The pleasure he was providing me along with the intimate love. Two things I had been craving from Leo for so long.

Making love had always brought us closer during the times we felt so disconnected. I hoped this would be no different. I hoped after tonight, we would go back to how things were before Michael began his path of destruction.

Although, I still had a lot to think about, either way. I still had to tell Leo about my pregnancy. I feared his reaction. I feared what the news would do to our relationship.

However, I had tomorrow to resume my worries and to feel the weight of the stress of it all. Right now, all I wanted was to focus on Leo’s body on mine. To focus on his hands gripping my hips as he thrusted deep inside me.

His eyes met mine. We stared deeply into each other as we both reached our climax. Right before we both fell off the edge, he placed his forehead against mine. I gripped the back of his neck, holding our heads together firmly as I fell. As he fell.

Leo carefully helped my feet reach the floor of the shower, but didn’t back away right away. He kept his arms wrapped loosely around me as we both calmed our ragged breathing.

After a few moments, the water had begun to turn cold. Leo chuckled when he saw my eyes grow wide when the cold water hit my skin. He quickly turned the water off and stepped out of the shower.

Leo held his hand out and I took it immediately as I walked out of the shower behind him. He gingerly wrapped a fluffy towel around me before he wrapped one around his waist. He hugged me tightly, rubbing his hands along the towel as if he was trying to start a fire.

“I do love you so much, Bianca,” he said, kissing my forehead.

I looked up to meet his eyes. “I love you so much, Leo.”

He smiled and I couldn’t help but match his expression.

“Let’s go to bed,” he spoke, softly.

I nodded, grateful he was going to be sleeping beside me tonight.
