Jason pushed Gillian’s body off him and stood on shaky legs while leaning forward tiredly, and he turned when he saw Gillian standing up calmly. The wound on her stomach was already closing up, and Jason realised that the healing factor of Vympirs was far higher than that of regular mages. Gillian was about to jump back into the fight, but Jason grunted as he grabbed her hand to stop her! Gillian turned around with a glare when this happened, but she stopped when she noticed Jason’s constantly changing eyes! What in the world was happening to him? Was this because of his soul?

"You are fighting against the toxin? That’s impressive. I already knew you weren’t normal from the first moment I spoke to you, but I never thought you would be this much of an anomaly."

Gillian said this in mild surprise, and Jason just grunted as he forced himself to his feet! Jason’s eyes suddenly turned red, and he slammed the heel of his palm against the side of his head while speaking!

"I’m sorry about that, my Queen. There is a pest living in my –"

Jason’s eyes turned to black mid-sentence, and he cursed.

"Get the fuck out of my body, dammit!"

Gillian clicked her tongue in irritation, and she was about to leave to continue her fight, but Jason stopped her a second time, and his eyes narrowed into a glare when Gillian suddenly raised her hand to hit him!

"Stop bitching and fucking listen to me. This fight isn’t working. That bastard is too strong, and he has a higher healing factor than either of us, so nothing we do is going to do any lasting damage. It’s a Chimera Slime, and they’re weak to heat, but our fire won’t be hot enough to kill it."

Gillian’s hand slowly came down as she heard this, and she turned around when she noticed that Alexander was already flying off into the distance to escape! Gillian already knew that their attacks weren’t doing much damage, but she had just been blinded by rage, so she didn’t think much during their fight. But if what Jason was suggesting was true, then wouldn’t it also be dangerous for them?

"We’re Vympirs you know. Even if we wanted to introduce him to the sun, we would also suffer for it."

"Not if we use a Red Sun. You’re a Blue Sun Vympire, and since I’m your –"

Jason’s eyes turned to red.

"Don’t listen to him, mistress! He’s –"

Jason’s eyes turned back to black, and he grit his teeth and grunted as he continued talking.

"– Since I’m your Changeling, that means I’m a white sun Vympire! Anything below a White sun should be fine for us to go close to! I have directions to a world we can use! Just trust me!"

Gillian was split for a moment! She didn’t really know if she could trust Jason at this time! Jason had literally been betrayed by her just a few moments ago! Gillian had lured Jason to Riyad just to free herself, and she had bitten Jason to make him a Changeling because she knew that her power was not sufficient to destroy the Machina on her own! Even after she did all this, was Jason really willing to help her get her revenge? Gillian turned around again to see that Alexander had almost vanished! She only had a few seconds to make a choice, and at that moment she decided that it would be better to put her trust in Jason than to allow the enemy escape! Gillian nodded to Jason, and Jason’s eyes bled red once again! Gillian then ordered the Changeling!

"Follow Jason’s plan! Lead me to the sun!"

The Changeling had no choice but to obey his mistress’ order, and he shot off the ground in a sonic boom as he flew towards Alexander! Gillian followed behind him just as quickly, and the two Vympirs formed twin streaks of black that shot across the sky as they finally began to carry out an actual plan!

As the black streaks approached, Alexander turned around sharply and cursed! Alexander was already close to reaching Radagan, and he knew that he only needed to make two more jumps before he got there, but at this rate, he would be wasting even more time trying to get rid of these nuisances! And the worst part of it was the fact that he was running low on energy! As a chimera, Alexander could change his body into any of the organisms he had eaten in the past, but each change took up energy, and after fighting for so many hours and going through so many changes in that short time, he could feel his mana dropping to below twenty percent!

’Should I just consume everything in this world? It won’t give me a large boost in power, but it’ll be enough to get me to Radagan!’

The world that they were currently in was a rank II world known as Basdh. It was a world filled with dwarves and other creatures that were well-versed in technology and magic, so Alexander knew that if he consumed them, then he would gain a substantial boost in his magical power! But what Alexander never predicted was for the dwarves of this world to launch an attack on him in the exact moment!

RATATATATATATAT!!

Multiple aircraft suddenly appeared from the horizon as the dwarves mounted their defence against the enemies that invaded their world! Alexander was the largest target out of the three TITANs, so hundreds of dwarven aircraft all turned their weapons towards him, and they began to fire without any mercy! Alexander roared in anger as the attacks stung his skin! The blasts weren’t enough to kill or even injure him, but they were annoying enough to stop his progress, and that pissed Alexander off more than anything! Alexander charged straight for the air carriers, but he was suddenly blindsided by two black streaks!

BOOM!

Jason and Gillian pushed Alexander through the air and past the convoy of air carriers, and Jason released a pulse of mana at the right moment to create a Dimensional Tear that they immediately flew through! They appeared in a new world, but neither Jason nor Gillian stopped their charge! They continued to push Alexander forward until they reached their next destination, and Jason released mana to create a new Dimensional Tear that they flew through as well! This continued for five more worlds as Alexander was pushed forward without any chance to fight back! They were nothing but black streaks in the air as they raced across the landscape, and the inhabitants of any world they passed through would always look up in awe as the black streak tore across the sky!

Finally, after more than ten more Dimensional Tears, Jason released the final pulse of mana, and they blasted through the final Dimensional Tear! The world they appeared in was dark and hot! Sweat began to form on Jason’s face, but he just narrowed his eyes as he continued pushing forward, and Gillian grit her teeth as she felt the temperature in the area growing rapidly!

Alexander turned around sharply when he noticed that there was an unbelievable amount of pressure against his back, and his eyes suddenly widened in shock when he realised that they were flying towards a massive red sun hovering just a few miles above them! Alexander could feel his skin sizzling and bubbling just from the heat alone, and both Jason and Gillian were already starting to release smoke as their vampire genes punished them for getting this close to the sun!

"What are you doing!? We’re all going to die!? Let go! Let go of me!"
