Kyle looked at the last Space Comprehension Fruit. 'If I go at it, I might be able to reach the standards required for the Minor Fragment of Spatial Connection. If I can get that early, I would immediately be able to teleport as soon as I become a Sage.'

Kyle took a deep breath and consumed the Space Comprehension Fruit.

As soon as the effects hit him, Kyle immediately tried to connect two points in space, but this proved to be harder than the previous three Fragments.

The issue was that it wasn't easy to see whether or not Kyle's experiments worked. With expanding or contracting space, it was easy to see. Yet, connecting two parts in space was more of a binary thing. Either they were connected, or they were not connected.

For starters, Kyle just tried to manipulate two points in space at the same time by shoving random Space Energy into both of them.

Years passed, and Kyle wasn't sure if he was making any progress.

'How do I connect two points in space? I know that I have to distort them in some way, but I'm not sure how to accomplish that. How would I even know if they are connected or not?'

Kyle kept experimenting, but he had no idea if he was even progressing.

He was learning a bunch of different things about how space worked, but he wasn't sure what they accomplished.

After around 20 years, Kyle sighed. 'Yeah, this is too specific. I can't really force it. I guess the best thing I can do is to learn as much about space as I can without focusing on anything in particular.'

'There are probably a bunch of guides out there about how to comprehend the Minor Fragment of Spatial Connection, but I don't really have access to those.'

'Well, best not to waste the fruit and just learn as many things as I can.'

Kyle stopped focusing on the aspect of space connection and simply looked at Space Energy in general.

He expanded space a bit.

He contracted space a bit.

He even tried to tear holes in space, but that basically went nowhere. There was a Fragment of Space Tearing, but it was as complicated as a Level Five Law.

Nevertheless, Kyle still learned about a couple of things.

Another ten years passed, and Kyle kept learning new things.

Now that he was no longer focusing on anything in particular, he realized that he was actually learning a lot more than previously.

During his experiments, Kyle also found a way to learn about another aspect of space, Spatial Manifestation. That was also a Fragment, but it was just as hard to comprehend as the Fragment of Space Tearing, which made sense. After all, it was the opposite.

Space Tearing was about tearing holes into space, while Space Manifestation was about stabilizing it. Of course, Kyle's experience, Realm, and available time weren't nearly enough to make any headway in comprehending either of these Fragments, but it was still interesting.

'It's actually super easy to manifest space,' he thought. 'You just shove a certain kind of Space Energy into space, and it suddenly becomes much harder to warp. It's basically just putting a stone onto a boulder someone is trying to carry. I just need to put a stone on top of their boulder, and suddenly, they can't even lift it anymore.'

'Maybe it makes sense to look at this for a while. I mean, I'm not going to comprehend Spatial Connection anyway, and these Fragments also don't even really exist. They're just arbitrary requirements.'

So, Kyle decided to look at space's aspect of manifestation for the remaining duration of the Space Comprehension Fruit.

He found it quite interesting since it was so easy to understand while also having such a large impact, but he knew that he couldn't possibly comprehend the entire thing.

Some years later, Kyle noticed that the effects of the last Space Comprehension Fruit were tapering off, but he didn't really care at that point.

When the effects had fully vanished, Kyle just shrugged. 'Well, I guess that's it. No more space comprehension adventures. That was something like 230 years of looking at nothing but Space Energy.'

'But honestly, I got farther than expected. Technically, I now know three Minor Fragments of Space. I mean, I'm planning on creating a funky Infused Soul Complex Law involving Gravity at some point anyway. Might as well shove some Space Fragments in there as well.'

'Anyway, I got all the Space Fragments I need to learn about the Formation Arrays.'

Kyle sighed. 'Now comes the boring part. I'm really not that into learning Formation Arrays, but I kinda need them. Almost everything works with Formation Arrays. My Communicator, almost all the machines, the spread of information, fortifications, fucking everything uses Formation Arrays in some way.'

'If I want the ability to hide my aura, I need some kind of machine or Formation Array, but I need to kill people from the Contrast Empire first to get the Contribution Points to buy these things. However, without being able to hide my aura, I can't show myself anywhere. How am I supposed to find and kill these people?'

'The best option is just to make this stuff myself. I mean, Manny has a Complex Law that can fool people. He can probably hide his aura without any issues. The only issue is that he needs to use it actively on every person who's looking at him. He can't fool somebody he can't see.'

'That problem doesn't exist with Formation Arrays. They change your actual surroundings. On Earth, you can hide your identity just by putting on a mask and wearing a cloak. I'm just doing the same thing but with my aura.'

'Also, knowing about Formation Arrays gives me a lot more options.'

Kyle looked at the Communicator with the guide again and sighed once more. 'I'm just procrastinating, trying to convince myself about how useful this stuff would be. Let's be honest. I'm just lazy and don't want to learn.'

Kyle groaned and looked to the side. 'This is like learning how the fucking tax system works. Yes, it's useful, but come on.'

Kyle shook his head and activated the Communicator.

He once more opened the requirements and read through them to confirm that he got everything.

'Yep, everything's there.'

After closing the requirements, Kyle looked at the document he was supposed to open first after reading through the requirements.

This would be the first document that would delete itself after he closed it.

Kyle took a deep breath and opened it.

The document had a simple title.

"What Is a Formation Array?"

The first sentence of the document basically already answered the question.

"A Formation Array is a structured arrangement of components and energy channels that uses precise patterns to gather, direct, and transform the powers of Laws and Energy into a sustained, predefined effect."

'So, an Energy manipulation machine,' Kyle summarized in his mind.
