Chapter 207: The Gods Move Together

Desert Planet,

After Zane’s words echoed across the frozen planet, the four remaining gods slowly spread out.

The wind howled across the cracked ground, divine pressure building with every second.

Zephyros was the first to speak.

"He’s arrogant," the twin said coldly.

Divine mana surged from his palm, condensing instantly. A greenish-silver bow materialized in his grasp, its limbs curved like crescent moons, a pure silver string humming with compressed squall energy. The air around it screamed softly, as if already being cut apart.

Beside him, his twin sister smiled.

"Let’s show him what gods truly are," she said lightly. "And kill him quickly."

She glanced toward Vorathrax with anticipation.

"I really want to eat those skewers you promised."

A flash of divine light formed in her hands. A silver trident emerged, tinged faintly pink with a golden hue running along its edges. Water condensed around its prongs even in the frozen wasteland, rippling unnaturally.

Drakthar stepped forward next.

His fists ignited with violent yellow divine mana. The metal bands wrapped around his knuckles glowed gold, cracking the air with restrained frenzy. Unlike the others, his expression was completely serious.

He remembered how zane stopped his fist albeit he was not using his full power.

"Stay focused, Kaelos," he said deeply.

At the center, Vorathrax finally moved.

The massive greatsword slid from his back with a low metallic growl. Its black-silver blade reflected the twin suns above as thin orangish-red divine mana crawled across its surface like living fire. The pressure of tyranny rolled outward, heavy enough to bend the planet’s crust beneath his feet.

"Do not worry, Drakthar," Vorathrax said calmly.

"We are fighting together."

His eyes locked onto Zane.

"We will win."

Across from them, Zane stood alone.

Hands relaxed. Coat fluttering slightly.

Deep purple eyes gleamed with mockery as he casually lifted one hand, curling his fingers toward himself in a lazy beckoning motion—an unmistakable taunt. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Come.

Vorathrax’s gaze hardened.

"...Attack."

The moment Vorathrax spoke—

The battlefield detonated.

Zephyros drew his bow in a single smooth motion. Wind screamed as divine intent poured into the silver string.

Celestine Wind Sovereign : Celestine Storm Volley

Fifty glowing arrows burst into existence at once.

At the same time, Kaelos spun her trident, surge-mana warping the air around her.

Oceanic Sovereign Surge : Telluric Pulse Surge

The ground beneath Zane fractured violently, fault lines ripping outward for hundreds of kilometers as molten pressure surged upward.

Drakthar did not wait.

His fists ignited in blinding yellow frenzy mana as he vanished.

Solar Frenzy Sovereign : Solar Fury Barrage

Ten afterimages slammed forward simultaneously, each punch capable of flattening mountains.

And above them all—

Vorathrax raised his greatsword.

Golden tyranny-mana spread like chains across space itself.

Apotheosis Tyrant Sovereign : Solar Sovereign Cleave

A continent-wide arc of execution light descended.

All four attacks arrived together.

The sky collapsed.

The land screamed.

Zane moved.

He didn’t counter.

He didn’t block.

He simply stepped.

Wind arrows sliced past where his head had been an instant earlier. His body twisted between Drakthar’s punches, shockwaves grazing his coat as the ground behind him detonated. The golden cleave tore through the space he had occupied, carving a glowing trench through the planet’s crust.

Kaelos’ surge erupted beneath him—

Zane jumped.

The earth liquefied and exploded upward as a molten wave missed him by meters.

Zephyros fired again.

Celestine Wind Sovereign : Celestine Gale Lash

A single azure arrow screamed toward him, carving a straight geometric wound through the battlefield.

Zane leaned sideways.

The wind cut brushed past his cheek, splitting the horizon behind him in half.

He landed lightly.

Hands still in his coat pockets.

"...Hmm."

He glanced around as divine techniques continued raining down.

Another barrage of arrows.

Another surge wave.

Drakthar charging again, fists glowing brighter.

Vorathrax preparing another tyrant strike.

Zane sighed.

"Dodging forever is getting boring and defeating enemy without a technique is also getting boring."

He rolled his neck once.

"I suppose I should use something proper."

He stepped forward.

His posture shifted.

The air around him changed—neither with mana nor with divine mana, but with movement itself.

"Ripple Vein Flowing Fist."

Drakthar reached him first.

A frenzy-charged punch crashed forward.

Zane caught the wrist.

Not stopping it.

Redirecting it.

The punch bent sideways and smashed directly into Zephyros’ incoming wind arrow, detonating both in a massive explosion that tore open the sky.

Kaelos thrust her trident.

Oceanic Sovereign Surge : Abyssal Divine Pull

A gravitational undertow formed, dragging land, ice, and air toward Zane.

He stepped into it.

Palm turned.

Ripple Vein Flowing Fist : Flow Reversal.

The pull twisted violently, swallowing its own center and dragging Kaelos forward instead. She barely managed to rip free, skidding backward through kilometers of broken terrain.

Vorathrax descended.

Apotheosis Tyrant Sovereign : Tyrant’s Subjugation

Gravity spiked.

The world attempted to kneel.

Zane bent slightly.

Then straightened.

He punched upward.

Ripple Vein Flowing Fist : Returning Current.

The tyranny-mana compressed, flipped, and blasted straight back up, ripping through the clouds and tearing open the atmosphere above Vorathrax.

Zephyros fired again in panic.

Celestine Wind Sovereign : Celestine Fang Spiral

A roaring wind dragon tore toward Zane.

Zane stepped inside its spiral and struck once.

The dragon folded inward and drilled straight down instead—boring a massive sinkhole into the planet behind him.

Silence followed.

The four gods floated apart, breathing heavier now.

Their divine intent trembled.

Zane stood calmly amid planetary devastation, coat fluttering lightly.

"...Now that’s better," he said.

Behind him, the world burned.

Ahead of him—

Four gods yet to realize that–

This being isn’t even a divine being.

This was something else entirely.

Meanwhile,

Violet divine mana erupted.

Lilithara lifted her golden staff and swung it sideways. Purple curse-light tore through space like a blade, ripping the frozen ground apart.

Eirenyssa opposite of her, pale golden aura flaring as radiant armor formed across her body. Plates of divine light locked together over her shoulders and waist, and a long luminous sword manifested in her hand.

Eirenyssa dashed forward, her sword glowing.

Radiant Severance — Blinding Flurry!

Light exploded.

Dozens of slashes burst outward, overlapping into a shining storm. The curse wave was shredded apart, exploding into fragments of distorted mana.

Lilithara clicked her tongue and slammed her staff down.

Golden hex symbols spread across the air, forming layered curse arrays. The symbols rotated violently and fired beams of violet light.

Eirenyssa crossed her sword.

A flash of gold erupted as the beams struck, blasting her backward across the ice. She skidded, boots carving trenches, then pushed off the ground and charged again.

Their weapons clashed.

Sword and staff collided again and again, each impact releasing divine shockwaves that split the terrain beneath them.

Lilithara twisted her staff.

Golden-winged curse constructs poured from a tear in space, rushing Eirenyssa from every angle.

Eirenyssa spun.

Radiant Severance — Luminous Arc!

A circular wave of light exploded outward, cleaving through the constructs and tearing open the battlefield for kilometers.

Lilithara appeared behind her.

A violet sigil ignited.

Eirenyssa turned just in time, blade meeting the staff point-blank.

BOOM.

The impact cracked the sky, throwing both divine beings apart.

They landed dozens of meters away.

Lilithara steadied herself, divine mana flickering violently around her staff.

Eirenyssa planted her sword into the ground, breathing heavily as golden light surged unevenly across her armor.

Both lifted their heads.

Both locked eyes.

Neither had fallen.

The battlefield lay shattered between them.
