STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer-Chapter 99: Part 1: Tier-5 Corrupted Beasts

Jeremy was dumbstruck. He didn’t expect Commander Harris to save him. On the other hand, Ken and Norton collapsed on the ground as well.

They were petrified by the Tier-4 Tiger Beast’s strike earlier.

Commander Harris’s gaze fell on Jeremy Night and the others before disappearing from the spot.

"Brother, we are saved. The Commander came to rescue us," Ken said with a relieved smile.

"Jeremy, are you alright?" Eve came to help.

"It’s nothing serious. Just give me the medicine liquid," he asked her.

Eve gave him the bottle she had prepared.

Jeremy drank the liquid. Then he felt the pain relieving from his chest. He thanked Eve before returning to his position.

The other Beast Tamers who saw from afar were ashamed. Everyone ran off after seeing the Tier-4 Beast. Jeremy Night was the only one who had confronted it directly.

"Jeremy, you are indeed brave," Norton said, giving a thumbs up.

He was slightly embarrassed. The first-year student did well, but he ended up collapsing on the ground.

Ken lowered his head in shame as well.

Jeremy noticed this and said, "Don’t copy me. I was testing the defense of the Tier-4 Beast. I was able to leave a few scratches; that’s all."

"We know it. But still, you are not afraid," Norton said.

On the other hand, Captain Mirza saw the team was rescued by Commander Harris. She felt grateful. If they had died, she would have felt guilty for the rest of her life.

Commander Harris returned to his position, where others saw his actions as well.

"When did you become so easygoing?"

The other Commanders asked him.

Harris snorted but didn’t reply. He hated their casual remarks. There were casualties on their side, but they didn’t take it seriously. So he didn’t like them.

The other Commanders saw his unresponsiveness. Their eyes flashed coldly.

The Tier-7 Thorny Worm Beast sensed the intruder again. But this time there were 3 intruders. It felt a threat from them.

The next second, it ordered 10 Tier-5 Beasts to launch an attack at the same time. It thought this would disrupt the humans.

At the same time, it ordered 3 Tier-6 Beasts to fight against the intruders. The Corrupted Beasts’ bodies were strong.
