Right an hour before the evening, Instructor Jacob comes to the class. Betsy and Jeremy were ready to leave the class.

But they were surprised upon seeing Instructor Jacob’s late arrival.

Before Jeremy could raise the question, he saw a black-haired young man, similar to his age, enter the class.

They had a similar height, but his skin tone was lightly tanned. He looked muscular. Then Jeremy’s gaze immediately fell on his uniform.

He was wearing the same uniform as them, so Jeremy had no doubt in his mind that they had got a new member in their department.

Betsy Lowe wasn’t surprised; she knew people were going to join the department, but she was eager to know the new member’s talent.

"I guess you guys have figured it out. He is Daniel Stone, the 3rd member of the Striker Department. He has awakened talent this year as well."

"He has B-Grade Body Type Talent. His talent has something to do with biting. He has indestructible jaws and teeth," Instructor Jacob said.

"Ha...Ha...Ha...,it’s nice to meet you guys."

"I thought with my talent it would be difficult to become a Beast Tamer, but fortunately, I got a place to study in Central University 14," Daniel Stone said with a smile.

He appeared to be enthusiastic and expressive. He liked to talk a lot.

"My name is Jeremy Night. I have A-Grade Body Type Talent, Supreme Combat Body. I’m the department representative," Jeremy introduced himself.

"Jeremy!"

"You are famous!"

"Can I call you Brother Jeremy? Everyone has heard of your deeds. You had slained a Corrupted Tier-3 Beast after joining the university as a 1st Year, which is great," Daniel didn’t shy away from sharing his thoughts.

Jeremy smiled. He thought the new member was not introverted at all. From now on, the place wouldn’t be boring.

"Hi, I’m Betsy Lowe. I have B-Grade Body Type Talent. It’s called Variant Nails. My nails can cut through any objects," she said with a smile.

"Cut through?"

Daniel’s smile disappeared, and he showed respectful attitude towards her.

"It’s nice to meet you," Daniel said.

Jacob was watching from the sidelines. He thought that with Daniel’s personality, team bonding would be easy.

"Jeremy, he has been given a room in your dorm building. You can help him with that matter," Jacob said.

Hearing that, Jeremy nodded his head. At the same time, he thought about their respective talents. For others, the talent may seem ordinary.

But if they learned to use it correctly, there would be no problem for them to grow in the Beast Taming Path.

Then they talked about a few other things before leaving the class. Instructor Jacob left. Betsy Lowe parted ways. They agreed to come early the next day.

Jeremy and Daniel walked toward the dorm building. While walking, they were quiet. Jeremy felt it was not nice, so he decided to chat.

"Where are you from?" Jeremy asked.

"My native city is City D in Zone 14, but I was born and raised here in City A. My parents work for one of the Beast Taming Corporations here," Daniel Stone replied.

"Beast Taming Corporation," Jeremy thought.

He knew some of the corporations were involved in the business of selling and processing the meats of regular beasts. He thought it must be one of them.

Soon, they reached the dorm building. Jeremy then guided Daniel to his room. He helped him with some stuff before going back to his own room.

After arriving at his own room, Jeremy locked the door before going to the bathroom. His bath lasted for 20 minutes.

He came out and changed into comfortable clothes. Suddenly, he felt hungry. He decided to eat something in the dorm canteen.

After getting ready, he left his room and went to the canteen. When he arrived at the canteen, he saw that there were more people.

He usually ate late at night in the canteen when no one was present. He had the option of taking the food plate to his room as well.

Now, he could only find a place to eat here. Jeremy then went to the counter and picked a plate. The staff working behind the counter received his plate and started placing different types of food.

This included fried pieces of chicken from regular beasts and some vegetables.

On the other hand, there were a lot of people who recognized Jeremy Night. The students here were all 1st Years.

They were shocked to see Jeremy Night here. They knew that Jeremy Night usually came to eat late at night to avoid meeting others.

So they were wondering right now whether it was a change of attitude or not.

After receiving his food, Jeremy found the nearest empty table to sit and eat. He placed the food plate on the table and sat down comfortably before starting to eat.

The other 1st Years watched in disbelief. On the other hand, the 1st Years from the Attack Department were scared.

Something had happened in their Attack Department. Some of the 2nd-year seniors from their department were imprisoned.

A few of the 1st Years were taken for interrogation as well, but none of them had returned. They knew that before this incident, they all went for a mission in the wilderness.

These 1st Years from the Attack Department knew Jeremy Night had gone with them as well. They didn’t know what was going on.

Jeremy Night was doing fine. He was going to classes as usual, whereas some of their friends were taken somewhere like criminals.

During class, they confronted their Attack Department Instructor regarding this. But the instructor simply replied that they had broken the rules and would be punished for that.

The only person who could solve their doubts was Jeremy Night, but they didn’t have the courage to ask him. So they decided to inform their Attack Department Representative.

The Attack Department Representative was a low-key person. Nobody knew his whereabouts. They believed that their representative would be interested in knowing this matter.
