"It must be the case," one of the guards uttered.

Hearing that, the other one nodded his head. It was not the first time they had received a young guest. Some of the gambling addicts were spoiled rich kids.

They saw that the young man was not wearing a uniform. It was a simple, casual dress, so they couldn’t discern his identity themselves.

"Let me go and inform the manager," a guard said before going inside.

Seeing that, Jeremy Night started acting normally. He didn’t show he was nervous or anything of the sort. Instead, he was enjoying the loud music by shaking his head.

The other guard saw this and understood that it was definitely the work of rich brats leaking the news.

Not long after, an obese, middle-aged man came to the front. He saw that the young man, looking clueless, was enjoying the music.

He could see through the Tier-2 strength as well.

"A fat sheep has come voluntarily. So invite him," the obese, middle-aged man said.

The next second, someone called out the Manager’s name. With his fat body, the manager rushed back towards the table to help them out.

The two guards allowed him to enter inside. Jeremy showed a fake joyful expression before going in. The loud music and different smells greeted him.

Jeremy started observing things with his fake expression. His gaze swept across the people here. There were young, middle-aged, and old-aged people.

He had even spotted high school students. His heart set off storms upon seeing their uniforms. His gaze then followed and fell on the strange-looking beast on the table.

It was a small, lizard-type beast, but it was constantly releasing smoke from its body. The people seated around the table looked intoxicated, including the high school students.

Jeremy couldn’t believe what he was seeing. It was the first experience for him. He wanted to act right away, but he knew that the mission was important. He was just a tool being used right now.

"Kiddo, which family are you from?"

Jeremy heard the voice from behind. He turned around and saw a burly man in a gym T-shirt and pants. Both of his arms were exposed.

What more? His gaze fell on the skull tattoo mark. His heart once again set off waves.

"What are you looking at?"

"Did you like the tattoo?" the burly man asked.

Jeremy had already spotted several clues. Now he had spotted the tattooed person as well. He was going to move away.

Hiss!

Suddenly, he heard a hissing sound. The middle-aged man took out a green snake. The green snake was a Tier-4 Lifeline Beast, but it was small in size.

It had emerald green eyes which were locked onto his gaze.

Seeing that, the burly middle-aged man smiled. He then looked towards the fat manager and nodded to him. It was a trap set up by both of them to get information out of the kid.

The burly man then turned towards the kid and started asking questions. At the same time, he started using his talent. It was a branch related to the mind talent.

With the matching green snake’s emerald eye talent, he could easily hypnotize others and get answers from them.

The burly man found that his power was not working properly. The loud music could be interfering, so he took the young man outside.

The Manager saw this scene and didn’t say anything. He could tell that the mind power was not working. It had happened before.

So, they were not going to stop the music, because it would annoy the guests who were already there.

At the same time, Jeremy felt terrible pain in his heart. The unknown beast egg felt something or someone was influencing the contractor.

It felt a sense of crisis. A white mist of energy released from the egg. The mist energy then entered the mind of the contractor.

Jeremy Night immediately felt the mountain of pressure in his head vanish. His mind became clear. His thoughts were racing.

Then he heard the middle-aged man talking. He was asking about his personal details. Then he noticed that he was walking with him to the front door.

His eyes glinted with understanding. He was wondering what to do earlier. Now the middle-aged man was leading him outside.

The two guards understood something. They opened the door and let both of them walk outside.

The middle-aged man was still carrying the emerald green snake in his hand. The snake’s eyes were looking into the eyes of the young man.

But they both didn’t know that Jeremy Night had already broken the chain.

After walking away from the door, Jeremy Night covered his fists with the starlight power. The starlight liquid coated his right hand first.

In the blink of an eye, it appeared as if he was wearing a white glow. The emerald green snake got alert.

Hiss!

It hissed in panic. Before the middle-aged man could realize, Jeremy struck the back of his neck. The middle-aged man fainted on the ground.

Swoosh!

The emerald green snake disappeared from the spot and entered the middle-aged man’s body.

Seeing that, Jeremy Night was stunned. He didn’t expect the emerald snake to go back to the mental zone.

He then withdrew the starlight power. The white glove disappeared from his hand. It was the first time he had used the starlight power in a hand-to-hand combat situation.

Fortunately, the starlight power didn’t disappoint him.

Then he collected his thoughts and picked up the middle-aged man. Instead of going back to the front door, he started taking him to the exit.

He walked out the main gate carrying the unconscious person. Then he went towards the place where the cars were parked.

The other Beast Tamers were patiently waiting. It had been a few minutes; they didn’t know what happened to the young man.

Leader Norman was anxious. He was the one who selected the kid. He hoped that nothing bad would happen.
