Gunclub:

A week passed in the blink of an eye.

Jeremy is spending his last day at the club. In this one week, he has grown his skills in using a handgun firearm. To be honest, he was shocked by the usefulness of his own talent.

He had made the right bet by trusting his own talent, and with the help of the Supreme Combat Body Talent, he learned to use a handgun well. Now he can shoot down the target with good accuracy.

But it was not at the level of Ms. Jessy. She has honed her skills for a long time, whereas he had merely taken advantage of his talent.

Jeremy picked up a handgun and started firing at the moving targets.

Bang! Bang!

The bullets pierced through the air before hitting the target accurately.

His posture was good, and the recoil force didn't affect him. Jeremy thinks that the time has come to try it on the lower-tier beasts. For that, he has to visit the wilderness again.

More importantly, he has been staying at the Tier-1 limit for more than a week. He thinks the time has come for him to reach Tier-2 as well.

But the problem is the university. He was only allowed to come and train in the facility; he was still banned from entering the wilderness.

On the other hand, Jessy was shocked to the core. She has seen personally how this young man has gone from knowing nothing to the level of handling a handgun well in the span of one week.

If he continues to improve at this speed, she thinks Jeremy Night will become a handgun expert. Captain Nathan has asked her to teach him about long-range firearms as well.

But Jeremy Night rejected it. He has simply stuck to practicing with the handgun. Because of that, he yielded results.

After seeing that he stopped firing, she walked up to him.

Jessy said, "You have learned well to use the handgun. Hereafter, you can practice on your own. There is nothing more for me to teach you here."

Hearing that, Jeremy Night thanked her. If not for her teachings, he would have had a hard time figuring things out on his own.

Meanwhile,

Max is monitoring the club for the last time. In this past week, none had come to bother Jeremy Night. He was safe here while training.

Shortly afterward,

Jeremy reported to Captain Nathan. Since it was his last day, he wanted to inform him before leaving. When the call was connected, Captain Nathan learned everything.

He was surprised by the learning speed of Jeremy Night. Then he figured out the reason for his fast improvement. After knowing about the Supreme Combat Body Talent, how could he remain still?

He made an offer to Jeremy Night. If he became a Tier-3 Beast Tamer in the future, he could assist their police department officially.

Jeremy said he would think about it. He is making plans to leave City A, so he didn't promise Captain Nathan anything.

Nathan didn't say anything. It's just that Jeremy Night's case didn't yield anything. He had thought someone would target Jeremy Night.

But nothing like that had happened in the past week. He thinks that they have given up after learning about Jeremy's current whereabouts.

Jeremy, on the other hand, made a request to Captain Nathan. He is planning to enter the wilderness again, but the university has imposed a travel ban on him.

So he asked Captain Nathan to talk to Dean Carolyn.

Captain Nathan agreed to do it. He doesn't think restricting Jeremy Night would do any good; the threat was always there.

After ending the call, Jeremy bid farewell to Jessy and Max. Then he left the gun club. It didn't take long for him to reach the university.

He didn't know whether Captain Nathan had contacted Dean Carolyn or not, but he quietly returned to his room.

Meanwhile,

Captain Nathan spoke to Dean Carolyn on the call. When he talked about Jeremy Night's travel ban, Dean Carolyn was puzzled.

But when she heard that Captain Nathan wanted to lift Jeremy's travel ban, she was taken aback by surprise. She didn't expect this request from Captain Nathan.

But she quickly figured out the ins and outs. The case was pending; there was no lead whatsoever. She understood Captain Nathan wanted to use Jeremy Night as bait.

She showed hesitation. Honestly, she had a few suspects in mind, but she didn't mention it to Captain Nathan. She thinks the families behind the senior students might have committed this act.

But it was her speculation alone. She doesn't want to confirm anything without getting input from Captain Nathan. She is also aware that Captain Nathan is in touch with Jeremy's parents as well, so she agreed to lift the ban in the end.

At the same time, she also made a request to him. She wanted to know every latest update regarding the case. Captain Nathan agreed on the call.

The following day,

Jeremy left the dormitory after getting ready. Upon reaching the class a couple of minutes later, he met with Instructor Jacob, who brought him the good news.

"Jeremy, you are allowed to leave. You can go to the wilderness now," Jacob said with a smile.

Hearing that, Jeremy was stunned before a smile appeared on his face as well. He understood Captain Nathan had succeeded in convincing Dean Carolyn.

Too bad, Daniel and Betsy were not there. Otherwise, he would have talked to them before leaving.

"Then I'm leaving for the wilderness now," Jeremy said.

A complex emotion appeared in Jacob's eyes.

He said, "Jeremy, wait a second. If you encounter a similar problem, what are you going to do?"

He doesn't think this kid can be lucky every time. If he gets caught by higher-tier beast tamers, then no one will rescue him.

"Instructor, don't worry. I'm not going deep into the wilderness. I'm just going to wander around the places near the city gate. If something comes up, I can always return to the City Gate," Jeremy assured him.

Jacob nodded his head. He knows Jeremy is smart, so he can trust him.

...

Shortly afterwards,

Jeremy Night reaches the entrance gate to leave. But upon seeing the two guards, his eyes flash with a glint. He knows something is wrong with these guards, but he doesn't know how to find out the truth.

He shakes his head before casting his thoughts aside. Right now, his trip to the wilderness is important.

So he casts a glance at them before leaving through the gate. After coming to the street, he notices that the guards are looking at him. His eyes flash with displeasure.

He understands that these two are keeping an eye on him. Maybe they would share information with someone. And the likely person is none other than the senior students.

He then books an aircab.

Shortly afterwards,

When the aircab arrives at the spot, he enters the cab and tells the driver to visit the beast taming store. The cab hovers in the air before moving towards the destination.

Both the guards watch until the aircab leaves. Then they exchange looks with each other.

"He seems to be going to the same place somewhere in the city, but we don't know where. Let's inform young master Billy," the guard says.

Hearing that, his colleague nods before sending information to 2nd year student Billy.

Meanwhile,

Billy, who is in his class, receives the message. He takes a glance before minding his own business. A week ago, he learned that Jeremy Night was grounded.

The reason was unknown, but he was able to get answers from the City Guards. His actions had led to the involvement of the City Police. Now, a City Police Captain is handling the case.

So he has stopped his actions. Now, looking at the message again, he thinks Jeremy Night is going somewhere inside the city. So he ignores it.

...

About 30 minutes later,

Jeremy arrives at the gate after finishing shopping. He has bought more poison for safety reasons. He then moves towards the exit to leave.

But the city guards recognize him. They immediately call their captain. When the thick-browed middle-aged man arrives, he is shocked to see this kid again.

"Kid, what are you doing here?"

"I heard you were grounded by the Dean of your University," he asks.

Hearing that, Jeremy doesn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Jeremy says, "I got permission to leave. Captain, you can verify it if you want."

The City Guard Captain nods before calling Captain Nathan. Then he quickly confirms that the kid got permission to leave. He ends the call and looks at the kid.

"Okay, you can leave. But if you come across any trouble again, you should return to the city," he says.

Hearing that, Jeremy nods to him and the others before leaving through the gate. He then looks around before entering the wilderness.

Today, he will know whether anyone is still following him or not. But his main goal is to reach Beast Taming Power Tier 2 and practice his handgun skills.
