The following day,

Jeremy Night got out of bed early. He then started to get ready for the duel. He knew that there was a challenge duel today. He decided to reach there on time.

Meanwhile,

The first-year students were getting excited for the challenge duel as well. It was going to be the first high-profile duel in the first year.

Because it's a duel challenge between the department representatives, they were going to see whether the STRIKER Department would gain fame or if the Attack Department representative would prevail.

The news was not only being circulated among the first-year students; the senior students had heard it as well. Many senior students were happy that the Attack Department was trying to regain their position.

The redevelopment of the fallen department had alarmed everyone, especially the seniors. They feared that it would be a matter of a few years before the STRIKER Department became the number one department across all years.

They were aware that the STRIKER Department had a low member count compared to other departments; yet their members were strong.

Right now, the STRIKER Department has only three members. The recent Beast Invasion had caused many people to give up on joining the STRIKER Department despite having the body type talent.

But they knew that more people would join from the next year onwards. Currently, the STRIKER Department is under the limelight.

The Attack Department's actions had challenged them. If the Attack Department succeeded in its plan, then the reputation of the STRIKER Department would plummet.

Then many of them would stop worrying about losing face.

As time passed, the department instructors began to show interest as well. Compared to their students, they were aware of Jeremy Night's strength. They didn't think Romeo Barrett could defeat Jeremy Night.

The students started coming to the Joint Training Facility. They were from the Attack Department. It would be a matter of time before Romeo Barrett came and joined them.

May Lindsey refused to come. She was an S-Grader talent. If she went there to watch the duel between A-Graders, it wouldn't be good for her image.

Romeo Barrett made an appearance. The students exclaimed. The Attack Department students were mostly excited.

Romeo nodded at everyone before finding the department instructors and his own Attack Department instructor.

The Attack Department instructor introduced Romeo Barrett to Derek Gibson.

Old Man Derek Gibson smiled and asked, "I heard that kid mentioned a condition. Did you kill the Tier-3 Beast individually?"

Hearing that, Romeo Barrett was taken aback. He hadn't expected someone to raise this question. But he answered by nodding his head.

Derek Gibson chuckled. He could tell that the young man was not smart, but his statement would be clear during the duel. If Romeo Barrett had truly slain the Tier-3 Beast, then his confidence could be explained.

Then he shifted his attention back to the crowd.

"Where are the STRIKER Department people?"

"Aren't they coming?"

One of the department instructors was impatient. He raised the question immediately.

"He must be on his way!"

"Since the kid promised me he would come," Derek Gibson said with a smile.

Hearing that, the person who opened his mouth felt terror for a second. He then closed his mouth. This scene was witnessed by several other department instructors, so they became silent.

"Look who is coming!"

"It's Instructor Jacob and two other students."

Someone shouted from the crowd.

Derek Gibson and others looked in that direction.

Instructor Jacob was coming together with Betsy Lowe and Daniel Stone. He hadn't expected this many crowds to gather there.

Upon seeing Old Man Derek and the others, he went to see him.

"What happened to your student?" Derek asked.

"Jeremy!"

"He will come for sure," Jacob said.

Meanwhile,

Jeremy left his residence. He checked the time, and seeing that he was not late, he smiled to himself. Then he started walking towards the Joint Training Facility.

A few minutes later,

He reached the place. His arrival caused a commotion. Jeremy was a little taken aback. He was surprised by the presence of so many students here.

"Jeremy, come here!" Jacob called out.

Hearing that, Jeremy walked towards him. He saw Instructor Jacob standing with Old Man Derek and immediately greeted him.

"Kid, we have been waiting for you. Let's start the duel," Old Man Derek said.

"Okay," Jeremy replied.

He found Romeo Barrett looking at him. Clearly, Romeo was excited.

Jeremy hoped that people wouldn't blame him after he defeated him fair and square.

Then Old Man Derek entered the facility. Jeremy and the others followed him.

The Joint Training Facility was equipped with many facilities, including a sparring ring. But it was meant for practice, not for a real duel.

But they didn't have any other option right now.

"Can I use my lifeline beast?" Romeo Barrett asked all of a sudden.

Hearing that, everyone stopped looking at the ring and turned towards Romeo.
