Strict Wife Of The '70s Manages The Household-Chapter 451
Chapter 451
Although the County was not as strict as the big cities, it was still very difficult to change a rural household registration to an urban household registration.
First of all, the unit must have accounts to receive oil and grains before separating families. That process required the couple to score a house, which was the process that blocked most of the opportunities for others to elevate their household registration.
If Han Jinyu married him, she could transfer her household registration to his family, which had to be done through a relationship status. Fortunately, they were both members of the Revolutionary Committee, so it would be more convenient to do so on their end.
But the more anxious he became, the more Han Jinyu wanted to take a step back.
She was really bored at home now and since she didn’t want to participate in labour at all, her plan was to get married to solve the issue.
Even so, if she married a village member, she would still be a farmer and be subjected to hard labour, which would not solve the problem.
Hence, she must marry a man from the city who works for the government. From there, she would have a job arranged for her as well in order to make sure that she wouldn’t go back to the days of tirelessly working.
She used to look up to Zhao Jianshe when she was still in school, but who would have thought that he wasn’t all that useful.
Later, when Han Qingsong changed his jobs and her classmates realised that her brother was a Director of the Bureau, they automatically sucked up to her. A few of them even took the initiative to introduce her to a couple of potential marriage candidates. 𝑏𝑒𝘥𝑛𝘰𝑣𝑒𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
Even now, there were still several men waiting in line for a chance to go on a blind date with her!
After returning home, Lin Lan wasn’t able to find a chance to talk to Sanwang away from the prying eyes of Dawang.
In the end, she had to take advantage of the next morning when Dawang and Erwang were going for a run before waking Sanwang.
Sanwang was drooling while hugging his Eldest Brother’s pillow, lulled in a dream where he enjoyed a large chunk of pork knuckle.
He was woken up by Lin Lan as he rubbed his sleepy eyes and said in a daze, “Mom, why are you in my dream? Do you want to eat some pork knuckles too?” He put the pillow towards Lin Lan’s mouth.
Lin Lan snatched the pillow back, “My dear son, tell mom what you and your Eldest Brother were doing in the County. I’ll make delicious food for you when our Brigade slaughters the pigs.”
Dawang smacked his lips, closed his eyes and muttered, “We just went around to play. We did somersaults and spin tops; Eldest Brother is the best at that.”
Lin Lan, “That’s it?”
Sanwang, “Yeah.”
Lin Lan thought about it for a while before she changed her way of questioning, “How many people were you playing along with your Eldest Brother?”
“5…9..maybe 8…”
“So when you two were spinning the tops and running around, what were those 7 or 8 people doing?”
“They…um…” Sanwang started to get stuck as his little brows furrowed. In fact, he looked like he was about to fall asleep again.
Lin Lan grabbed a broom seedling and swept his nose. Sanwang raised his hand to scratch the itch, but Lin Lan grabbed his hand to prevent him from doing so.
As a result, it became itchier as time passed, so Sanwang opened his eyes, “Mom, why are you sneaking up on me?”
