Stolen By My Billionaire Brother-In-Law-Chapter 43: Tearing The Damn Dress -2
"And who is this bitch now?" Leonora grumbled, scanning the woman who seemed almost her age. She thought her friend already had enough troublesome people in her life and didn’t need to add one more.
Enora crossed her arms and scanned Rivana, her dress a little too bold for her liking. "When my father kept praising you to the skies, I thought you were different." With disgust in her eyes, she added, "But you seem like another woman trying to get into my cousin’s pants."
"Young miss, please mind your language," an elderly woman, almost in her late sixties, rushed inside. Turning to Rivana, she quickly bowed, apologizing for Enora Dynar’s behavior.
"Ah, you are Ezekiel’s daughter," Leonora murmured aloud. Sneering at Enora, she shot back, "Your father kept saying we were kind of similar. Oh lord, he is so wrong." When Enora frowned, she hissed, "I wasn’t born with a foul mouth unlike you."
"What is happening here?" Just then, Ezekiel entered, followed by a worried George. Daisy, Enora’s nanny since childhood, had informed them that they were there, and Ezekiel rushed over, surprised by her arrival.
Ezekiel scanned his daughter’s short dress, which clung to her upper body, his face darkening in disappointment. "And what scandalous dress are you wearing? Go change it first!" he grumbled with a scowl.
"Scandalous?" Enora scoffed out loud. Pointing at Rivana, she asked, "Look at the dress she is wearing. If this is scandalous, what should we call her? A whore?"
"Enora!" Ezekiel growled, his voice thundering in the room. Everyone flinched, and Frankie quickly hid behind Leonora, intimidated just by Ezekiel’s presence. He had heard only dark things about this mafia leader and didn’t dare to even stand in front of him.
Azrael then entered the room, followed by Callum. While Callum was wearing casual clothes, quite clearly he wouldn’t be part of the party, Azrael looked every bit like a model from a magazine.
Azrael wore a tailored black tuxedo with a single-button closure and a sharp peak lapel, paired with a crisp white shirt for a timeless base. To complement Rivana’s crimson gown, he added a deep crimson tie and a matching pocket square. For a polished finish, he wore glossy black oxford shoes and cufflinks with small crimson detailing, tying their outfits together seamlessly. His black hair was styled sleek with a single strand falling over his forehead, completing the look.
Rivana couldn’t help but admire him. Handsome felt like an understatement to describe him tonight. Feeling her gaze, Azrael looked in her direction, his eyes slightly widening at her outfit. His expression turned into something darker, making Rivana blush.
"Huh, here comes another one!" Enora murmured, bringing everyone’s attention back to her. Turning to Azrael, she started accusing him, "My father gave you name, shelter, fame everything, and is this how you betray him?"
"Oh my, this kid is so rude!" Leonora couldn’t help but comment. Even Rivana agreed, gritting her teeth as Enora continued to talk nonsense.
"If you really wanted to play with someone, I would have hired a better companion for you. Why did you get married to her? How can you cheat on Marisa?" Enora continued, her frustration evident.
Leonora recalled the name immediately. Rivana had told her how that woman had barged in and claimed to be dating Azrael. Now she understood where all those delusions stemmed from; it must be Enora giving her false hopes.
Strangely, Azrael didn’t react to any of her words. Turning to Callum, he ordered, "Take her out."
"I am not going anywhere," Enora refused to budge. Turning to Rivana, she added, "This marriage isn’t valid. And I won’t let this party happen."
"Callum, take her out!" Azrael ordered again, this time his voice loud and tinged with irritation.
Callum quickly grabbed Enora’s hand. When she retorted and started making a scene, he grabbed her by the waist and lifted her up on his shoulder, carrying her out of the room. Daisy followed closely behind.
Ezekiel sighed and looked at Rivana. "I am sorry on her behalf," he apologized. With a smile, he added, "I will see you downstairs later," before hurrying out of the room with George behind.
Leonora gestured her team to quickly pack up everything. "Anna needed help with wearing the chain. Can you help her, Mr. Dynar?" she said, pointing at the necklace on the dressing table.
Once they were finished, Leonora patted Rivana’s shoulder and walked away with everyone else. After Frankie walked out, she closed the door behind, leaving the couple alone.
Azrael walked over to Rivana. Coming out of her daze, she took the chain and murmured, "I can wear it."
Azrael stood behind her, their eyes locking in the mirror. He slowly pushed her hair to the front. Rivana shivered lightly as his fingers touched her bare skin. He helped her wear the necklace before pulling her hair back and straightening it.
They looked at each other in the mirror again, and Azrael couldn’t take his eyes off her.
Rivana wore a deep crimson gown that clung perfectly to her figure, featuring a shimmering beaded bodice with a daringly low neckline and thin straps, showing a bit of her cleavage. It led to a backless design dipping to her lower waist, but luckily her long hair covered it. The dress flowed into sheer, cascading layers adorned with delicate patterns, creating an ethereal yet bold look. A handcrafted floral embellishment at her waist added a touch of flair, while the fabric trailed behind her like a crimson wave, making her irresistibly hot.
Rivana bit her lip, her entire body burning under his intense gaze. With a gulp, she looked at him and questioned, "Should I change into something else?"
"Yes," Azrael replied almost immediately.
Rivana understood his reaction. Viktor had always preferred seeing her in formal, classy outfits. If it was ever a little revealing, he would scold her and ask her to change into something else during their marriage. Even Aldona was very particular about what she wore during events. Rivana recalled those memories and realized Azrael must think the same too.
Azrael wrapped his hand around her waist, pulling Rivana out of her thoughts. He bent lower and rested his head on her shoulder, grumbling, "Because if you keep walking in this all night, I won’t be able to control myself."
Rivana’s body heated up again, her heart beating faster as his grip tightened around her waist.
"So, this isn’t inappropriate for you?" she asked, blinking in surprise.
Azrael looked up at her with a frown. Realizing what must be running through her mind, he replied, "I am fine with anything you wear as long as you are comfortable in it."
"But what if someone talks about it?"
"They wouldn’t dare," Azrael replied, his tone serious. And if any man stared at her longer than needed, they all would go blind tonight. He swore in his head.
Rivana smiled in response, once again touched by him. With a tiny blush, she complimented, "You look handsome."
Azrael smiled, unable to hide his emotions anymore. He leaned closer and placed a small kiss on her shoulder, making her feel flustered. Meeting her gaze, he replied, "And you are taking my breath away, Rain."
Rivana blushed harder at his words, feeling the temperature in the room turn unbearably hot. If he kept seducing her like this, she wasn’t sure if she could control herself around him.
Much to her relief, there was a knock on the door. "The guests have arrived, Boss. It’s time for your entry," the guard conveyed the message.
Azrael hummed in response and reluctantly let go of his wife. Taking out his arm, he said, "Let’s go."
With a smile, Rivana slipped her hand into his arm, and they both walked out of the room.
As they walked downstairs, they saw Viktor entering along with Aldona and his parents. Rivana’s grip tightened as she saw even her mother walking Rubina inside the hall.
"How shameless of her!" some other guests murmured, sneering at Rubina’s back. "She cheated with her sister’s fiancé and still has the nerve to come here."
"And he is even worse!" another commented, staring at Viktor. "He lied that Rivana had drugged his drinks. It is clear he wanted to two-time even after marriage."
"Yeah! God saved Rivana from this asshole!"
Rubina and Viktor’s faces darkened. Rivana could see it even from a distance. All the suffering they put her through after marriage and how they tortured her every day using Alan flooded back. A smile lit up her face, relishing their expressions.
Oh, tonight is going to be so much fun, Rivana thought in glee. Little did she know, it would also turn out to be the worst night of her life.
