The Boss Lady’s gaze darted between the two, her eyes laughing, clearly thinking they were a great match.

"Bring us a few of your signature dishes," Ye Mubai ordered casually and led Su Ge to a table to sit.

There were few people in the restaurant, but the environment was nice, decorated everywhere with flowering vines, portraying a natural style.

"The food here is relatively bland. I wonder if you’re used to it."

Ye Mubai suddenly spoke up.

Su Ge froze for a moment, then smiled slightly, "I’m not picky about food."

Ye Mubai seemed relieved by this and nodded.

Even though Ye Mubai had warned her, Su Ge was still a bit surprised when the food arrived.

The dishes here were different from those in other restaurants; every dish contained herbs, and there was very little oil. Indeed, they looked quite light and healthy.

The Boss Lady, having a fiery temper, grabbed the owner’s ear and dragged him inside, "Come in here and get your facts straight. Are you saying I’m old now? Wasn’t I just as young and charming at fifteen? Yet you didn’t feel sorry for me back then..."

Su Ge and Ye Mubai though seated far, could still faintly hear the owner’s and Boss Lady’s conversation.

Su Ge lowered her head, awkwardly playing with her rice, "They...seem to have misunderstood something."

"Mhm." Ye Mubai responded in a deep voice, yet he didn’t plan to offer any explanation.
