The morning event made the entire school lively.
Everywhere Bei Sangyun and Fei Chuan went, they were greeted by students with a series of congratulations. Some were so enthusiastic that they even waved hand banners with their names on them.
Bei Sangyun was speechless.
She certainly loved that the whole school knew she was in a relationship with Fei Chuan. But experiencing it like this... was somehow different from what she had imagined.
In the end, the couple decided to avoid the crowd and went to the library.
Fei Chuan led Bei Sangyun to the farthest corner. He brought his laptop and took some textbooks from the shelves.
Bei Sangyun watched him open the books in front of her, "Are you seriously going to study?"
She thought they would have a date in the library, like some students who flirted secretly among the bookshelves. When she watched them in dramas, she thought doing it with Fei Chuan would be romantic.
Fei Chuan pushed the book toward her, "This is where we stopped last time. We only have a few months left before finals. I noticed you’re weak in math and science. But you learn quickly, so I’m sure you’ll catch up before the college exams."
Bei Sangyun blinked at the stack of books Fei Chuan chose for her. She felt a headache coming on. "...Do I really have to?"
She had studied crazily back in high school. She did not want to go through that again.
"It depends on which university you want to attend. But if you want to get into the top-ranked university in the capital, you should at least make the cut." It went without saying that people from great families like the Lin family would enroll in the number one university.
Bei Sangyun’s face changed. She had forgotten all about that. Actually, it hadn’t even occurred to her to study seriously again. She had enough of it in her past life.
She glanced at Fei Chuan. He was so focused on writing her a reviewer. Bei Sangyun swallowed the words she was about to say and quietly took the book to read.
"Why are the two of you here?" a harsh voice sounded behind them. Lin Sunji, carrying a stack of books in her arms, looked at them, mortified. "Are you two having a library date here?"
Bei Sangyun: How I wish.
Fei Chuan just glanced at Lin Sunji and went back to what he was doing.
Lin Sunji was ignored. She gritted her teeth at the sight of the two.
The whole school was clamoring about this couple. They even took up the time for morning self-study for an unnecessary event.
Lin Sunji went to another table and put the books she was carrying down. A while later, Lin Sanju, who also escaped from the event, appeared, holding notebooks.
He was also stunned to see Fei Chuan and Bei Sangyun.
Lin Sunji eyed the notebook in his hand. "Is that it?"
"Yeah. I made this in my spare time." Lin Sanju sat across from her and passed her his notes. He glanced at Bei Sangyun’s table. "Should we go there?"
"Are you stupid? Do you want us to be the third and fourth wheel?"
Lin Sanju fell silent.
Lin Sunji bit her lip. She had made an unnecessary remark, but she couldn’t control her mouth, and it would be too embarrassing to take it back.
"...Anyway, you let me borrow your notes, so I owe you. If you need any favors, just let me know," she said, hiding the guilt in her heart.
Lin Sanju nodded. The two siblings then went quiet.
Bei Sangyun looked in the twins’ direction and was surprised to see them studying together harmoniously.
She had known the twins for a long time, and they never shared the same table willingly unless they were forced by their parents or by the situation.
Seeing the two facing each other with peaceful expressions made her feel strange. It was as if she was seeing the sun rise in the west.
"Did they get close?" she muttered.
Fei Chuan glanced at her. "Shouldn’t you be using this time to study instead of gossiping?"
Bei Sangyun pouted. Her tutor was so strict.
Both tables were silent, with only the sound of pages turning.
Bei Sangyun grew tired of reading formulas. She stretched and sneaked a glance at Fei Chuan.
He was writing another set of notes. It was Physics this time.
Bei Sangyun leaned on one hand and stared at his handsome profile.
"Look the other way. You’re distracting me," Fei Chuan muttered without raising his head.
Bei Sangyun ’tsk’ed. She couldn’t even look at her boyfriend. But seeing him so serious, she didn’t bother him and looked back at the twins instead.
She didn’t know what had happened in the fourth branch, but the twins seemed much closer than usual. Or should she say Lin Sunji didn’t despise Lin Sanju as much as before? The problem lay with Lin Sunji, after all.
Bei Sangyun stared at the two, pondering.
At their table, there were many books, most of them Lin Sunji’s. She seemed to be studying hard. Despite being spoiled, arrogant, and having a bad attitude, Lin Sunji was hardworking.
What surprised her the most was that Lin Sanju seemed to be helping her. She couldn’t imagine how the arrogant and prideful Lin Sunji had asked the brother she once despised to help her with her studies.
Bei Sangyun suddenly thought of the scene she saw on the streets. "Hey. What were you doing on the streets last week?" She threw a question on the nearby table.
Lin Sunji paused writing and looked at Bei Sangyun with confusion in her eyes. "Street? You mean selling?"
Lin Sanju, who was reading a book, looked up at Lin Sunji with a raised eyebrow.
"You’re selling?"
"What are you selling?"
Lin Sanju and Bei Sangyun asked at the same time.
Lin Sunji paused. She glanced at her brother, who seemed surprised, then at Bei Sangyun, who seemed to have no idea what she was selling. She hesitated. She did not want her brother to know.
But wait.
Bei Sangyun had no idea?
"Wait. Bei Sangyun, don’t you know why or what I’m selling?"
Bei Sangyun blinked. "Should I know?"
Lin Sunji’s eyes went wide with realization. "It wasn’t you who gave me the quota? No, wait. Have you even instructed me to go to the streets and make a living?"
Bei Sangyun blinked. It took her a second to understand this must be Zhong Cheng’s arrangement, which he had named under her. And she seemed to have messed it up... accidentally.
Lin Sunji was infuriated. "That bastard! So it was all his doing!"
Bei Sangyun: Sorry, Zhong Cheng. It was really not my intention.
Lin Sanju blinked. "You’re selling on the streets to make a living?"
This statement shocked him. His prideful, arrogant, princess-like sister went to the streets to sell things? Did the sun rise in the west?
Lin Sunji gritted her teeth. "That Zhong Cheng!" She stood up and stormed out of the library.
Lin Sanju was intrigued. He followed his sister.
Bei Sangyun turned in another direction and decided to play innocent.
Fei Chuan glanced at her and shook his head with a smile.

Only when the bell rang for lunch did Fei Chuan allow Bei Sangyun to put down the books.
Bei Sangyun was finally freed from such an arduous task.
"Why are you suddenly getting serious about making me study?" she asked Fei Chuan as they cleaned up the books from the table.
"We only have four months left before the college examination. I heard that all the members of the Lin family enrolled in the top-ranked university in the capital. I’m not worried about my grades or the examination. And your grades aren’t worrisome either. But you have to at least pass the exam."
Bei Sangyun blinked. "You... are you going to study at the same university as me?"
Fei Chuan scratched his ear embarrassingly. "...Well, it goes without saying that everyone wants to study at Tsinghua University."
Bei Sangyun went silent.
In the past, Fei Chuan went abroad right after graduation, so she thought he might do the same this time too. After all, he started gathering his influence and power abroad. So it hadn’t occurred to her that Fei Chuan would choose to stay in the country.
Initially, Bei Sangyun did not plan to go to a university or be a college student. She only planned to get a degree from a common institution while managing her business. After she and Fei Chuan got together, the thought of following him abroad crossed her mind too.
But...
Attending university together with Fei Chuan, dating on campus, and living a normal college life was too tempting to pass up.
Bei Sangyun clenched her fist. "Alright. I am going to study well to make sure I pass the examination." Her dream of becoming a campus couple was not far away.
Fei Chuan saw the determination in her eyes and smiled.
He did not ask why Bei Sangyun seemed to have suddenly forgotten most of the lessons. He just earnestly wanted to help her and attend the same university with her.
The two did not eat lunch in the cafeteria. The whole school was still talking about them, so they went to a restaurant. Since they couldn’t go far, they settled on a nearby but decent restaurant.
However, when they arrived, they were stunned to see Lin Fei greeting them from one of the tables.
