Chapter 144: Sophia in the School

When Bei Sangyun arrived at the Lin mansion, the hacker Butler Xin had hired contacted her.

"I have found the hacker and discovered his real identity. His name in the industry is Code. He must have recently offended someone because his code name and his IP address are publicly posted in the forum. And this person also sent me Code’s real name."

Bei Sangyun was surprised. The hacker had mentioned before that it might take a longer time to trace this person. Thanks to this coincidence, their workload lessened. She didn’t doubt his story since it was very common to make enemies in the cyber world. Code must have offended someone who had greater abilities than him.

"Make sure it’s really him. Once you confirm his identity, you may start."

The hacker understood, and the call ended.

Afterward, Bei Sangyun summoned Butler Xin.

She handed a file to him.

"Give this information to the list of companies I have written on the front page. Of course, you may offer a high price."

Butler Xin didn’t understand her order at first. But when he read the file, he was stunned.

"How did you get this information?"

"Secret," Bei Sangyun replied. She winked at him. "Now work hard. I want the Simons out of this country soon."

She racked her brain to recall the enemies of the Simons and provided them with important information that might put the Simon’s business in a pickle.

If the Simons got in trouble, Mr. Simon had no choice but to fly back to his country with his grandchildren. Richard had no choice but to leave Fei Chuan alone.

As for whether the Simons could overcome the upcoming trouble, that depended on their abilities.

.....

While Bei Sangyun and Fei Chuan laid their trap, Sophia had recovered and enthusiastically attended Bei Sangyun’s school.

As a member of the Simon family, Sophia was famous wherever she went. Her exceptional looks and the weight of her family name made everyone at her prestigious school in her home country treat her like a queen. And since she was the twin of Richard—the prince of every woman’s heart—she was accustomed to being fawned over, receiving attention, and garnering admiration from everybody.

So when she attended Tian Shen Senior High, she expected a crowd of people vying for her attention.

Contrary to her expectations, the students who happened to glance her way only paused for a moment, as if stunned to see a foreigner. Then, they continued their heated discussions with their friends, conversations filled with terms like ’tyrant’ and ’target.’

Sophia, expecting others to talk about her, was left speechless.

"Are these students blind?" she harrumphed as she entered the classroom where Lin Sunji and her brother were.

Her arrival caused a commotion in the class, and some gathered around her to inquire about her. This was the reaction she was used to. Sophia smiled confidently and greeted everyone.

Lin Sunji acted as her close confidante and introduced her to everyone.

After learning she was Richard’s twin, the students in Class 3-1A became more friendly towards her.

However, the novelty towards Sophia only lasted for a few hours. The topic changed from Sophia to the current post in the forum.

"Hey, have you seen the post? I can’t believe the tyrant backed Fei Chuan."

"I wanted to comment, but her lackeys are paying close attention. I am afraid I’ll be found out."

"Don’t comment. Do you want the tyrant to change the target to you? The posts before were all deleted too. Let’s just watch quietly."

Sophia, expecting more attention, was stunned when the people around her suddenly talked about a topic she did not know.

She turned to Lin Sunji. "What are they talking about?"

Lin Sunji was also irritated that these people were all talking about Bei Sangyun again. When Sophia turned to her, a flash of inspiration crossed her mind.

"They are talking about Sangyun. She made quite a bold statement yesterday. So all the people are talking about her."

Sophia frowned. Is Bei Sangyun’s random statement more important than her own arrival? She did not like not being the center of attention.

Lin Sunji observed her expression clearly. After spending quite some time with the twins, she was able to read them somehow. Richard was schemeful and had a more complex mind than Sophia. While Sophia wanted to play smart, because of her arrogance and overestimating her own ability, she was more easy to read, thus it had become a way for Lin Sunji to manipulate her.

Lin Sunji leaned closer. "Actually, yesterday your brother and the target they are talking about had an issue. Richard is just being kind, but Fei Chuan rudely dismissed him. Many people witnessed it, and they defended Richard through the post. But Bei Sangyun is backing Fei Chuan. She deleted all the posts and threatened everyone."

Sophia got angrier the more she listened. That girl’s guts were growing wild. How dare she dismiss her brother in front of everyone? She was clearly looking down on them!

Sophia narrowed her eyes dangerously. "And my brother just stood by?" It was not in the nature of her brother to just take it lying down.

Lin Sunji glanced at Richard, who was taking a call outside. "Richard did not want any fight. He was just being concerned. Anyway, Sangyun has a tight grip on this school. Even if your brother is being wronged, there’s nothing we can do. Sangyun is very influential in this school."

Sophia harrumphed.

Bei Sangyun could enjoy her rule over this school as much as she wanted, but it wouldn’t last long now that she had arrived.

After hearing everything from Lin Sunji, the fire in Sophia’s heart to ruin Bei Sangyun became more intense.

She looked around. "Where is the famous target?"

Lin Sunji glanced at the empty seat in the farthest corner. "He is not here yet. I bet he will arrive together with Sangyun."

Sophia also noticed that Bei Sangyun was not here.

Her eyes flashed. "Can you tell me more about that Fei Chuan?"

Lin Sunji smiled inwardly and recounted everything regarding Bei Sangyun and Fei Chuan’s relationship. She even went to the forum to let Sophia read some of the trending posts back then.

Sophia’s mind worked as she read the posts. Then an idea crossed her mind.
