"Hey, have you heard?" a guard standing at the gate of Falmouth City spoke in a hushed tone.

"Which fake rumor do you want to tell me this time?"

The guard shook his head, his chin raised high. "My dear brother, this information I’m about to share with you is unlike the others. From what I heard, this city was created by mythic beasts, and we actually have a city lord!"

The other guard stared at his colleague before bursting into laughter. "You sure are crazy! What do you mean, created by mythic beasts? And hasn’t it already been nine months since they confirmed that we have no city lord? Lady Tamara is the highest rank in the city."

The other gatekeeper shook his head again. "No, no, brother. You see... my friend who works in the administrative building said she saw him. According to her, he looked like a fairy or an angel that was thrown down to tempt the awakened."

He raised his finger in front of the other man. "From what she said, it seems he does it with Lady Tamara and Fairy Lilith every day. She also said he has a horse’s johnson between his legs!"

The other man, who wore a helmet, sighed deeply. "Brother, didn’t I tell you to quit reading erotica novels?"

"Hey! I told you not to talk about that again!" the gatekeeper yelled in panic. His eyes darted around to make sure no one was nearby.

Seeing no one in sight, he sighed. "But what if it’s true?"

The man with the helmet tilted his head back and gazed at the tall administrative building. "Then I’ll just start believing in all the rumours I hear."

As he said this, his companion tapped on his silver armour several times. His gaze and finger remained fixed on something in the distance. "Elon... is that a rainbow?"

In a mountain some distance from Falmouth City, a figure sat cross-legged inside a dimly lit cave that smelled of lavender mixed with fine wood.

The figure’s energy was stable, and so was his breathing. Purple mist from the young man churned around the cave, giving it an eerie yet warm feeling.

Suddenly, the ground began shaking violently. The body of the unmoving figure exploded, and a bright light shot into the sky.

The brilliant purple light tore through the heavens, causing a beautiful rainbow to appear.

In the next moment, the figure’s eyes shot open. His gaze scanned the room like a hawk searching for prey. Once he confirmed that nothing dangerous was nearby, he stood and leaped out of the mountain through the hole the purple light had created.

Swish!

The view from the peak of the mountain was incredible. Several mountains and valleys stretched out on both sides of him, while endless vegetation filled the land.

The sun was setting behind the blue mountains in the distance, and the gentle breeze carried the fresh scent of spring.

Whether it was the blazing morning or the snowy evening, life was truly beautiful.

Nishikawa Hinata spread both arms wide as the wind rushed past his bare chest. His long hair fluttered wildly in the breeze, and a smile framed his face.

When he pried his eyes open, he was greeted by the familiar sight of his dragon companion, who had now obtained a physical body and a pair of legs.

"Welcome back, sleeping beauty," Goku chuckled.

Hinata brought his hands down. His head tilted to the left in confusion. "Welcome back?"

"Well... after you went demon mode and did it with those two mythic women for a full month, you suddenly went into a deep coma. Just a few moments ago, your entire body combusted into purple light," Goku explained, grinning manically. "But you did it, you sick, sadistic bastard."

"Wait," Hinata exclaimed. "My mana?"

Goku was visibly grinning as Hinata gradually pieced together everything that had transpired.

From his mana density alone, he could tell that he was at least at the Expert realm. He could also sense that Goblin—or rather, his humanoid beast form—had reached the peak of its evolution.

Furthermore, he had done something not even the seven gods of this world had done. He had created a unique path.

Hinata grabbed onto Goku and twirled around like a ballerina. "Hahaha, I never knew it would be this easy!" 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺

Goku, whose eyes were spinning, tapped Hinata to signal him to put him down.

Noticing how childish he was behaving, Hinata dropped his companion and cleared his throat.

Goku nearly threw up as his eyes continued to spin. After steadying himself, he looked up at Hinata. "If you are so happy, why not thank the mistress? She was the one who made it possible."

Hinata’s face went completely blank, then twisted into an irritated expression as if someone had just cursed his father. "Tch! I ain’t that excited."

"Oh~ are you shy right now~" Goku taunted.

"Like hell I would be, you pesky causality dragon."

"Humph! Like you could ever survive without this great one."

Hinata couldn’t help but smile. "Well, I guess I could thank her just for your sake."

"Nah, you just want to go get laid."

Hinata jumped back down through the hole. "Like hell I do."

Once he was on the ground, he got ready to pull up his status panel.

"Time to see the rewards of my efforts in real time!"

Before he called up his status panel, he moved to the side of the cave where his Endless Flask and other items were. He drank his fill, then went ahead to take a bath, brush his teeth, and change clothes.

The cool water from the Endless Flask washed away the last traces of dried sweat and purple residue that still clung to his skin. Hinata scrubbed thoroughly, enjoying the refreshing sensation that cleared his mind even further. After drying himself with a quick burst of controlled mana, he slipped into a fresh set of black robes that felt smooth against his newly strengthened body.

Moving out of the side of the cave, he ran a hand through his still-damp long hair, pushing it back from his face. A quiet sense of satisfaction settled in his chest as he finally sat down on a flat rock near the center of the cave. Only then did he focus his will and call forth the long-awaited status panel.

"Okay, system-chan, show me what you prepared for your daddy."
