SSS Hypnosis: I Made the Heroines Beg for Forgiveness-Chapter 23: Healing
Take off... my clothes...?
"What?!" Benedict blurted out, startled by the ambiguous words coming out of Miyabi's mouth.
She stared at him, eyes unblinking, completely serious.
"What do you mean, Miyabi?" he asked, leaning back slightly, only for Miyabi to follow his movement without hesitation.
"Take off your shirt, Young Master. I need to see your wound," she said calmly, her hand already reaching for the fabric on his chest.
Benedict finally understood. Well, sort of. It looked like she only wanted to check on his injuries. Still, something about it made him feel... uneasy.
With a sigh, he slowly unbuttoned his shirt. His pale torso was revealed, surprisingly fit for someone who lived off cold soup and hard bread every day. Not too thin, not overly muscular, just enough to be shockingly decent.
Miyabi's breathing suddenly grew heavier. Her eyes drifted downward, and her hand moved to touch his abdomen, brushing against the faint outlines of his abs.
Benedict quickly grabbed her wrist. "Don't touch there. It tickles," he said, narrowing his eyes.
Miyabi didn't seem to care about his reaction. Her focus shifted to his severed left arm. The wound had turned a horrifying shade of black.
"Tell me, Young Master. What kind of monster did this to you?"
Benedict pressed his lips together. He remembered clearly, it was the Cyclops. And he also remembered clearly... he wasn't the one who killed it. That honor belonged to Alice.
"A Cyclops," Benedict replied with confidence. "I fought it."
"A C-Cyclops?! You defeated a Fang-tier monster on your own?" Miyabi's eyes widened in shock.
Benedict looked away, feeling a sting of guilt for lying about it.
"Isn't that a bit much?" Miyabi continued, concern flickering across her expression. "Training's one thing, but fighting a Fang-tier alone..."
It was worth it. I managed to collect some Shards from that cave.
"Let's stop talking about me for now," Benedict said, brushing the topic aside. "Tell me why you wanted me to take my shirt off."
Being half-naked in his room with just Miyabi wasn't exactly comforting. If someone walked in right now, it'd be a disaster.
"A-ah, right. Just a moment, Young Master." Miyabi stood and looked around the room before heading to his desk.
She opened the top drawer and pulled out a small table knife, one Benedict usually used to cut his food.
Without hesitation, she slashed her finger, a clean cut that drew out a stream of bright red blood.
Blood dripped from her index finger as she walked back over and sat in front of Benedict.
"Lick my blood," she said flatly.
Her hand reached toward his face, the bleeding finger held just inches from his lips.
"W-what?" Benedict looked even more confused now. First, she made him strip, now she wanted him to drink her blood?
Wait a second... is this some kind of trap? If I drink her blood, will I become her servant for life?
Or maybe... she's a vampire? Is she trying to turn me into one too?
His mind ran wild with ridiculous possibilities.
"Why should I lick your blood, Miyabi?"
She glanced to the side, eyes flicking up and down, likely reading something from her Essence System.
"It says here, if you drink my blood, all of your wounds will be healed. Even serious ones."
Benedict blinked. Wait, seriously?
"That... is that your skill? Or a Unique Trait?" he asked, now fully curious.
"No... it's part of a Legend Sigil. The description says it activates when I offer my blood to someone I wish to heal. It's a one-time use, once it's done, the Sigil disappears," Miyabi explained, scrolling through her interface.
Benedict's eyes widened. A Legend Sigil?! She must've obtained it while she was out looking for me.
"Are you sure about that, Miyabi?" he asked.
She nodded. "Yes, Young Master."
"No side effects at all?"
"None, Master. I promise."
Benedict studied her face. She didn't look like she was lying. He glanced at the blood still dripping from her fingertip.
Is this really safe...?
Counting to three in his head, Benedict leaned forward and quickly licked the blood from Miyabi's finger.
Miyabi immediately slid her finger into his mouth. Her expression changed, subtle at first, then noticeably strange. Her violet eyes began to gleam, and her breathing grew erratic.
Gods, blood really tastes awful. This is just like when I ate that glowing orb from the wolf...
He continued to suck the blood, until finally, he pulled his head back and released her finger.
Benedict coughed, wiping his mouth. Miyabi looked faintly disappointed, she had clearly been enjoying the moment a little too much.
She turned to her Essence System. The Legend Sigil she had obtained after battling that monster had started to vanish, its description fading out.
Benedict suddenly felt heat blooming in his body. A powerful surge of energy rushed through him, forcing out a low groan.
"Hold on, Young Master. This must be the healing process," Miyabi said softly, placing her hands on his shoulders and pulling him into an embrace.
His blackened left arm began to twitch. The dead flesh shifted, changing color.
White bone emerged first, forming a skeletal structure—arm, elbow, wrist, hand.
Finally, the fingers formed. But it was just bone. No flesh or skin.
Benedict pulled away from her and stared at his left hand, eyes narrowing in confusion.
He could move it. Flex it. But the regeneration had stopped. It was all bone.
"What the hell...?" he muttered.
"W-what? Why didn't your hand heal completely?" Miyabi looked just as confused.
Benedict clenched his bony fist, feeling a strange surge of power in the skeletal limb.
He pinched it. No pain, of course. There were no nerves.
Then, without thinking, he stood and walked to the wall. He wound up, and punched it.
CRACK!
The wall cracked instantly. A large split spread across the surface. He didn't feel a thing, but the power behind the punch was terrifying.
Benedict's eyes widened in shock. Oh no... what if someone sees this?
He instantly regretted testing out his new arm.
"Uhh..." Miyabi looked nervous now, worried that the healing hadn't met her master's expectations.
"Miyabi, what's the name of that... Legend Sigil?" Benedict asked.
"I-it's called... Necro Healing..." she said, her fingers fidgeting.
