Sovereign of the Ashes-Chapter 1318: Forced Entry
Murg was ecstatic as he became the first to force his way into Pyreling World.
The planar barrier of Pyreling World was incredibly thick, and its repulsive force was strong. It was a clear sign that this world’s laws were well-developed and thriving.
From the blank demiplane outside Magus World, the lesser creatures watched in awe as Murg unleashed his true form in all its terrifying glory and strained with everything he had to push through the space gate.
He had not fully entered Pyreling World yet.
With the support of multiple space gates and elemental arrays, he had only managed to wedge a head and an arm through, catching the opposing plane off guard.
Deep grooves formed beneath his feet from the sheer pressure he exerted.
The ground trembled, and low-ranking knights and mages could not help but feel humbled by the raw power of a Rank Four being.
Progress was slow, but things were moving smoothly.
From the perspective of Pyreling World’s creatures, however, a “black monster” radiating an overwhelming and evil presence was emerging from a swirling vortex.
By their aesthetic and biological standards, Murg indeed looked hideous.
He appeared above a crimson lava lake in Pyreling World’s southwest region.
This particular lava lake sat on the coordinates where Grimm had first discovered Pyreling World.
This world was a land of constant geological turmoil and frequent volcanic activity.
Twelve hundred years ago, a violent upheaval had shattered what was once a single massive molten sea into a cluster of over a hundred smaller lava lakes.
The lake where Murg emerged was the largest and sat at the cluster’s heart.
No one noticed that this same upheaval had flung several fragments containing the plane’s essence into a turbulent space and time corridor.
Such an event was incredibly rare. Even the world’s guardian had paid no attention to it.
Even if it had, no one would have imagined that someone could later discover those fragments and, from the faintest remaining planar traces, deduce Pyreling World’s precise coordinates.
The sudden appearance of a powerful foreign creature like Murg sent waves of panic through the native creatures around the lava lake.
Fear of the strong was natural for most weaker beings in the Astral Realm. There was no shame in it.
Even so, one creature broke from the crowd and flew straight toward Murg.
It was a Lava Pyreling spanning nearly fifty meters, with fleshy wings and two slender feelers sprouting from its forehead.
At first glance, it looked like some kind of pyro elemental sub-dragon species. In truth, it was pure insect without a single trace of dragon genes in it.
This Pyreling possessed demigod-level strength and was the strongest being among all the creatures inhabiting the best spot within this lava lake.
“What kind of monster are you? Leave our world!” it roared.
Though it sensed the overwhelming, alien aura radiating from Murg, it had no idea what it was truly facing.
Pyreling World had never suffered an invasion before.
This Lava Pyreling had heard of the divine war three thousand years ago, but back then, it was the Pyremperors who invaded another plane. No other world had ever dared to target Pyreling World.
Murg had not expected a demigod to show up so soon either, not when he had barely forced his way through the planar barrier.
He could only curse his bad luck inwardly.
Still, the sudden appearance of such a strong defender confirmed that Pyreling World was richer and more dangerous than they had previously believed.
A world’s prosperity could often be measured by how many demigod-level beings there were within it.
Using the pores across his body, Murg scanned his surroundings and detected several Rank Three creatures lurking nearby. However, they were merely watching.
Murg had not come here to sightsee. He was here to invade.
The hostility of the plane itself was ramping up, showing that the world’s will had already recognized him as a threat.
If this dragged on, Pyreling World’s Rank Four powerhouses might soon arrive, and that would be a problem.
With that in mind, Murg tightened his grip on the giant axe in his right hand. He looked at the Lava Pyreling and chuckled. “Come here. I have something good to show you!”
The demigod-level Lava Pyreling sensed danger, but it was too late. Murg’s axe turned into a dark blur as it cleaved across the sky.
In the next instant, scorching blood rained upon the land.

With Murg leading, things did not go as smoothly as planned.
After several intense clashes, Murg managed to force half his body through the space gate and nearly tear off the demigod-level Lava Pyreling’s wings. He also killed and injured countless weaker creatures near the vortex.
But his advance stalled. He was gradually being worn down, and more Rank Four and above creatures from Pyreling World were starting to arrive.
The space gate was initially narrow, only wide enough for one person to lead the charge.
Though Murg had not squeezed through completely, he had widened it considerably.
Sein and the others were growing impatient with his slow progress. He had already activated his Flame Demon form and was about to jump in to help when his Faceless Mask picked up an ominous presence.
Instinct took over, and he leapt aside.

In Pyreling World...
When the Rank Five Pyremperor arrived, the lava lake had turned into a sea of red blood.
The once-mighty Lava Pyreling, a late-stage demigod once proud like a draconic subspecies, was now in a pitiful state.
Its wings were nearly torn off, and its eyeballs were smashed. A massive wound ran from its lower abdomen all the way to its neck.
That single brutal strike from Murg’s blunt weapon had almost cleaved it in two!
Even so, thanks to its combat instincts and the support of its homeplane, the Lava Pyreling clung to life. Though weakened, its fighting spirit continued to burn, fueled by the will of the world itself.
During its clash with Murg, the will of Pyreling World had poured strength into its body, unwilling to let these invaders into its inner sanctum.
“Preposterous! How dare they covet Pyreling World? They will die for this!”
Void Eater’s divine roar echoed across skies and lands as intense heat converged at its horn. Drawing on the energy of countless lava lakes, it unleashed a blazing torrent straight toward Murg, who was still stuck in the spatial vortex.
The knight had just swatted away a wave of Rank One and Rank Two Pyrelings. Individually, they posed little threat, but their sheer numbers were troublesome.
He had been ready to finish off his most troublesome foe, the Lava Pyreling, when Void Eater suddenly appeared and unleashed a devastating attack.
He whipped his head toward the creature and cursed, “SHIT!”
